They took out 1/2 of my stomach, due to it was lack of blood flow and part of it died. I have been throwing up sence the surgery. I am still throwing up. I throw up at least 3 or 4 times a day. Every day. I have lost 22 lbs in this last 6 months, and it seams no one cares. I am getting really scared for my life. 79 lbs. is no joke. I really need help..
This is a good site for me I can open up and talk about this situation I’m going through . I’m May of 2018 I had emergency surgery because woke up throwing up and pain in my stomach . So after surgery I was told I had endometriosis , a hernia was fixed and bowel obstruction . So I did my hospital stay came home and change my eating habits no junk food just clean eating .
For the last few years I have had a problem of throwing up virtually everything I eat or drink. It is not temperature or texture specific, I get about 3 bites in, I feel like I'm choking and then I run to the bathroom and throw up. One GI specialist after endoscopy said I had a hiatus hernia. The next GI specialist post endoscopy said I did not and told me it was likely all in my head. I've had a barrium xray and that doctor said I have an esophageal motility disorder.

Now to my issue. I'm having surgery next week for a EUS, where they go in and look at all my organs, take any biopsies that they need to, drain fluids if they need to and basically come up with the definite answer if this is chronic pancreatitis.
THESE ARE MY SYMPTOMS, CHEST PAINS, CANT LAY FLAT, I SLEEP WITH ABOUT 4 PILLOWS, I JUMP UP IN THE MIDDLE O THE NIGHT TO THROW UP WITH BURNING IN THE THROAT, EARS ETC...I SPIT MUCUS UP FOR HOURS AFTER THROWING UP AND BURNING...NON OF MY FOOD FEELS AS IF IT DIGEST....IT FEELS AS IF IT SITS IN MY CHEST, AS WELL WHEN I DRINK WATER IT FEELS NOT TO GO DOWN....I AM MISERABLE...AS WELL I HAVE TAKEN MANY TEST....ALL RESULT IN GERDS..
I'm a 31 y/o female, 4'11', 120lbs and I've been throwing up everything I eat or drink (no exceptions) for going on almost 4 years now. I've been to several doctors and specialists. I do not have an eating disorder, nor a food allergy, or ulcer/hernia. I've done the scopes, food diets, life style changes, oodles of food and stress diaries. It doesn't seem to matter how much or little I eat, what I eat, when, how fast.
I have had haiatel hernia for several years. when problem started becoming extreme... sudden onset of my stomach looking like i was 8 months pregnant and terrible shortage of breath that even asthma medication couldn't correct.... i was sent to surgeon and had a Nissan. Thinking well, stomach in chest cavity... make sense to me can't breathe. Well several weeks after surgery problems returned but not as severe but continued getting more severe again as weeks passed.
t mean to scare you but i suggest you go see a doctor if the pain worsens or you get a fever and start throwing up or you could lose it. If it helps you, my pain is also in my lower back (right kidney area), my right testicle which feels sometimes like a hernia pain as well at the bottom right of my stomach in the groin area, and sometimes it radiates from my right testicle into my butt all the way up to my right kidney If i try bend over to touch my right toe with my right hand.
he had bad heartburn after surgery but that seems to have gone away. they only come on for a couple min..
Am I the only one that heaves for a minute before throwing up? My husband is pissing me off because he says that I need to learn to fight throwing up, and that he can hear me heaving before I even throw up....and if it keeps happening I'm going to have to have major surgery -.- what he doesn't understand is the heaving is my stomach contracting and bringing the contents up! Obviously I try to fight it down...who doesn't?
my hernia surgery. I went in for minor surgery on one hernia; ended up a three-hour procedure involving two more very large hernias; the surgeon told me that there was a section of bowel lying outside the ab wall; apparently this had been going on for some time. Pre-existing conditions: a replaced mechanical aortic heart valve, have had three other bowel obstruction surgeries, among numerous other minor things. Have been treated for depression in the past.........I am a 72-year old female.
I got really sick when I went off steroids and there was a leak, I did end up with additional problems because it was after my second surgery and I had other things going on too but the steroids kept me doing okay and then when I finished things would go crazy, they put me on them again assuming Aseptic meningitis and I was good for another ten days until I was off the steroids again. Sounds like he NEEDS an MRI or at least a CT scan to see if there is a leak there causing problems.
I am a 24 year old male who had inguinal hernia repair on left side 3 years ago. Weeks after surgery I as well returned to my surgeon complaining about my right testicle not hanging as low or where it use to hang. He said don't worry about it and to workout, run, do whatever I want at 100%. Well off and on over the past years I get pain in my right testicle still. Any pressure over my surgery repair, and I can feel pain in my right testicle.
I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I have been able to keep everything down except wienersnitzel. I threw that up 5min after eating. And I just went to bed and let my stomach relax. Didn't want to risk throwing up again.
