throw up undigested food

t eat well at all and sometimes when he vomits there is undigested food in it. I was wondering if this is common and what are some suggestions to help him feel better. Thanks everyone.

the last two days I've had food come out of my stool undigested the first time was a baked potato the second day it was my vegetables like I had corn carrots and either been or peas. I'm pretty scared about this seems not right. What should I do?

When I do go to bed, I wake up at 3am and experience such severe discomfort and nausea that I go to the bathroom and throw it all up. I throw up chunks of what looks like undigested meat, and it hurts my entire chest, stomach, and throat as I throw up these chunks of meat. Even after I finish throwing it all up and there is nothing left, I still feel nauseated and the nausea lasts for a couple of days.

Often times I have to force myself to throw up just to be rid of the horrible feeling of food clogged in my esophagus. Food also almost always comes up shortly after eating and is undigested. It's to the point where I get anxiety eating in public places or when I don't have a drink. Please help. Thanks.

Every two or three days. Nothing has changed. No hair in vomit. Just undigested food. Does she have the kitty flu ? Last little pile had a piece of grass in it. I'm keeping an eye on her. She's still drinking enough water & has healthy appetite.

It happens at different times of the day, and there does not seem to be any correlation to things I have eaten. The common denominator is that when I burp or if I throw up it tastes like eggs.

It sounds like it is based lower in his stomach, in other words not a hairball because he would be more likely to throw up undigested food if so. Your kitty sounds like he is vomiting after he has digested everything. Sorry, no ideas, but it does sound worth the vet consult.

I agree with Margot. There could be all sorts of reasons she threw up. Some would not be serious, and others could be. Usually a dog who throws up just to get rid of undigested food that didn't agree, car-sick, or after over-eating etc...will be fine in an hour or two, and even may be hungry again! But any other symptom which continues, like lethargy etc might point to an infection or maybe some other problem. If there's a history of bowel obstruction, then don't wait. See the vet.

Stomach bug early April About a month ago I had a stomach bug and I haven’t really recovered since then, my sweat and my stool smell foul with an onion scent, ( I don’t eat onion) and I’ve noticed undigested food in my stool. I’ve had a lot of abdominal discomfort especially after eating and after using the restroom. Stool is light colored on the greenish/ yellow side. When I get morning sickness it isn't food that comes up its like this foaming stuff but try eating slower I find that helps me a lot and drinking water more slowly as well

The reason for drugs been not absorbed - you probably just had a quickened peristalsis due to some minor food incident...Allegra itself may cause diarrhea as a side effect though. The reason of concern would be, if this spongy stool will continue. Stool had a bad smell? Or you have just ingested a lot of fibers?

Find some type of food or liquid that fits you and help ease nausea. With my first I drank lemon lime Gatorade and ate fries and it will always help and I was sick my entire pregnancy, like horrible. But there were times I used zofran. You should ask your doctor for some they're miracles!

What you're feeling is common if you're taking large doses of PPI's. I've had the same issue as you. Chances are what you're smelling is undigested food. Since your acid is so suppressed, you may have undigested food hanging out in your stomach. When gas is released, it carries the odor of the undigested food. I'll guarantee you if you ease back on your Prevacid you'll notice that this side effect is gone. Of course, the heartburn may then be back.

Went to the gynae on saturday and he gave me 2diferent antibiotics, i have been taking it since then. It makes me feel funny. Keep burping, dont feel like eating and if i do i throw up everything. Have any of you ever had this experience?

They are light brown with bile yellow color when I wipe, foul smelling, floating usually or stick to the side of the bowl, spongy looking, often undigested food can be seen. t sleep at nite either as I am afraid she will wake up in the middle of the nite and throw up which she does ALL the time. Sometimes, food given to her 6 hours earlier will come out undigested.
