We also tried Amitiza, which did not work. When I move my bowels undigested food is present, whole blueberries, chewed tomatoes, and pills in the same form they were in when I took them. Close to two months ago I had an episode where I had a debilitating pain in my abdomen. I also became 15 pounds bloated immediately when the pain started. The weight has not gone down.
The appetite was very good yet every couple of days he would throw up bile and white foam...But NOT food. However the past 2 days he is not himself...does not have much of an appetite and he just threw up his UNDIGESTED food. The Vet told me to give him 1/4 pill of pepcid -and probiotic yogurt. It's the weekend and don't know what to do.
Imagine the fish in this tank are your cells and organ systems bathed in fluids, which transport food and remove wastes. Now imagine we back up a car and put the tailpipe up against the air intake filter that supplies the oxygen for the water in the tank. The water becomes filled with carbon monoxide, lowering the alkaline pH, creating and acidic pH environment, and threatening the health of the "fish," your cells and organs.
I suggest you might google candida as it can cause a variety of symptoms (IBS, burning mouth, depression) and even create food allergies as your absorbtion of food is messed up by the fungal overgrowth; basically causes leaky gut. Also might look into Celiacs Disease, which is basically an allergy to gluten. This allergy alot of times doesn't develop or at least doesn't show symptoms until adulthood. And it can create allergies or intollerances to other foods basically by leaky gut again.
He doesn't eat well at all and sometimes when he vomits there is undigested food in it. I was wondering if this is common and what are some suggestions to help him feel better. Thanks everyone.
It happens at different times of the day, and there does not seem to be any correlation to things I have eaten. The common denominator is that when I burp or if I throw up it tastes like eggs.
After the painful gas and feeling like I need to puke experienece I will throw up undigested food. After the throwing up the stomach pain continues for hours later and sometimes I will have diarrhea. How can I avoid this and continue eating small meals?
with, on average, a longer life-expectancy than many breeds. Mine used to throw up his food about 5 minutes after eating only because I was giving it to him too cold! Straight from the refrigerator. I learned not to do that, and he was fine afterwards.
but there was also a white blob about and inch long....I always throw up undigested food (i guess because of the gastroparesis) and sometimes throw up things that I ate hours and hours before (and I had a meal after that....), but this time the thing in my vomit doesn't look like anything I have eaten EXCEPT it kind of looks like the shape and color of my digestive enzyme pill....but how could this happen????
I am so afraid of meal times and can't sleep at nite either as I am afraid she will wake up in the middle of the nite and throw up which she does ALL the time. Sometimes, food given to her 6 hours earlier will come out undigested. She wakes up every morning and requests that she does not want milk or food. I am at my wits end - please advice.
I think changing up the food helped a little. He's still happy but he did throw up yesterday after going a couple days with being ok. I'm wondering if he’s mentally ill and making himself throw up because he eats too fast. It does happen soon after eating.

At 13 months she had diarrhea for 2 weeks straight. Her poos were real diarrhea and then back to the stringy stuff with a lot of undigested food. She started getting rashes on her bottom and she will easily do up to 10 poos some days or at worse 3 or 4 within an hour and a half. I have taken her back and forth to the doctor but I just can't do this anymore.

I have had this happen to me before, same situation. Eat food early in evening and throw-up hours and hours later. I drink or did every day a glass or 2 of wine the Martini and Frangelica was an exception. I just recently started taking hormones which my gyno suggested and I have not felt the greatest I assumed it might be related, but I have been having problems for 4 or 5 years with the hurting under the rib cage.
eat slowly, enjoying each bite – savor the smells and textures of your food. If your mind wanders, just gently remind yourself to return to focusing on your food and how it tastes and feels in your mouth. 2) Avoid distractions while eating. Try not to eat while working, watching TV, reading or using a computer.

The heat-feel like i'm going to start sweeting and nausea wave-is not like a flushing-more like i just finished a really hard run and then i stopped and the body is still hot and wants to move to cool down kind of feeling -if that makes sense. The bloating comes after eating the food. The face swelling comes after i had a violent throw up. 5.

My stools are like water every other day 10 times a day. Blood work showed up my liver was stressed Upper GI just showed infection in stomach and lower GI is next week. CT show swollen bile duct. I have been passing blood in my stools for over 20 yrs. New blood work and stool test were done yesterday.
) hernia--I had a human neighbor with this problem which caused her to get up and leave the table during meals (due to the food just not going down--therefore, undigested and coming up). It is likely this wouldn't show up in blood or urine. Doc is a lucky dog because his human is responsible and seeking help.
In January 2004, I experienced terrible stomach pain radiating to the back when I took an antibiotic (Biaxin). I had been on a long course of antibiotics for chronic sinus infections and had taken Tequin, Augmentin and Biaxin sequentially for about 4 months. Since this episode, I have been unable to take any antibiotics orally or any other drugs except the very mildest (Sudafed, chewable acetamenaphin, Clarinex). Many foods provoke a similar response.
It starts with the AWFUL rotten egg burp, MISERABLE bloating, gas, and followed up with vomiting until my stomach is COMPLETELY empty and I am dry heaving. When I do this, I can throw up things I have eaten 3-4 days prior, and when I move, I literally feel everything in my stomach slosh around!!! It is AWFUL!!!! Could this possibly be related??? Could this mean that the Sjogren's has been affecting my stomach???
25 year old female. over weight. I am not normally a tired person. the last two months i have been So tired all the time even when i get enough sleep and relax all day. I have loose watery stools that are happening up to 5 times a day with urgency. I have had some rectal bleeding off and on since my son was born 7 months ago and some blood in stools. maybe once a month. intense pain during bowel movements when the stool is "normalish" with tons of undigested food in my stool.
I ended up getting sick too, but I didn't throw up. I only had diareaha and nausea that lasted over a week. My stomach and digestive system haven't been the same since. I don't know if it's related to this incident or not. Ever since I have been getting these bouts of nausea after eating as well as diareaha. The nausea is a combination of simply not feeling well and the feeling of needing to burp and not being able to.
