Throw up after eating eggs

Common Questions and Answers about Throw up after eating eggs

throwing-up

You are consuming too many eggs in a day. The recommendation is 2-3 eggs a week. Some foods can give us an "after taste" after eating. This maybe what is happening to you with the eggs. Everyone is different in how they tolerate foods. I suggest you only eat 2-3 eggs a week and eat meat (chicken, fish, turkey, loin of pork) or non-meat products (soy milk, low fat yogurt, tofu, rice and beans) for protein sources. Thank you for your question.
My son (will be 3 in June) is doing the same thing. He had a few random vomiting episodes in the month of February. His actions do not involve sticking his hands into his mouth though. Of course this alarmed me in the beginning and I assumed he was sick, but then he'd be fine. I'm realizing it happens mostly during mealtimes. Last week, everyone in my family had a stomach virus and we were all throwing up.
The second time was worse I'm sorry to say. The first time I only made it through 1st trim by eating hardboiled eggs and Rice Krispie treats! Keep trying. You'll find something that works. If you're vomiting all day--like every hour or more freq them you need to call OB and they'll give you IV & anti nausea drug in the IV. Try ice chips too. Hang in there. I know it's rough!
And im so worried im gunna be fat after ive given birth or even got so used to the ammount of eating ill carry on :(
However my doctors have not been helpful with the issue of my cough a;ways being far worse after I eat and drink. Within minutes after eating I have severe cough with large amounts of phlegm and green musus. Sometime it goes into bronchical spasms where i can not breath and catch my breath. If it happens in front of people they think you are dying. It is humilating and it happens faithfully after every meal. I see an infectious disease Dr. and Lung Spealist and endo. Out of all my Drs.
It happens at different times of the day, and there does not seem to be any correlation to things I have eaten. The common denominator is that when I burp or if I throw up it tastes like eggs.
I forget to do this very often, but one way I've gotten more eggs in my diet is to keep boiled eggs on hand. When I'm not up to cooking, they're a quick, easy way to get something filling and nutritious. Before my kids decided they liked eggs, we'd find ways to disguise them. My husband puts them in his amazing fried rice, and he also adds them to pancake batter. How do you like your eggs? Do you think they're beneficial to you? Do you still avoid eggs because of cholesterol concerns?
feeling sick after eating every night for the past 23 years since christmas as i ate too much and was sick ca you help me
I end up throwing it up like my stomach rejects the food and after i throw up i feel great the pains are still there but, i can breathe. I have been to the doctor they told me i have colitis. I have been in and out of the emergency room many times, they told me they dont know. So i had a colonoscopy and they found hemroids. So they set up an appointment for the same thing but, down my throat. I am just wondering what the hell is going on. I know my body and i know when there's something wrong.
Immediately after eating my throat gets full of phalgm n I keep clearing for hours before it settles down. I find difficult to sleeep for many hours after my dinner. I hv to go to yhe washroom every 2-3 minutes after I hv lunch or dinner. Doctors take very lightly to my suffering. I do not think they understand my problem properly. Pls help. I am not suffering from cold or cough disease. This problem arises only after food intake.
I used to try and do a workout on a low-cal breakfast of rice-cakes and pure-fruit jelly/jam spread, (figuring I'd burn more calories quicker that way) but I got so nauseous I would throw up and shake all over and my head would spin and throb. I changed to eggs (or something similar) and the low-blood-sugar symptoms completely cleared up. Worth a try!
I do love fruits though… if I eat, I will feel sick after and sometimes throw up and just waste what I ate.. well, we are pregnant and being picky n what we eat is part of it.. but if you can tolerate take in small frequent feeding of vegies, fruits and meat..
Thanks for the heads up. I was sick before the BFP with my 1st and not until a week after with my 2nd. I can't remember at all with my last DD. I just hope my hcg has at least come close to doubling by tomorrow. I know I shouldn't worry, but I just can't help it. My last pg looked so good at 1st and ended so badly. I wouldn't mind having twins, but I really just want 1 healthy baby boy (I'd settle for another girl, but my DS is lonesome & praying for a brother).
This occurs about 50% of the time after eating. My heart rate goes from ~75 bpm up to 140 bmp (max todate), and the blood pressure goes from 130/80 up to 180/102 (max to date). Note: I am borderline hypertensive and take 20mg of lisinopril a day.
Hi I'm 14 and for some reason have been throwing up after breakfast and not being able to keep food down in the morning. At first I thought I was allergic to eggs so I cut those out of my diet but I keep throwing up!! This makes me insecure because it's making me loose weight. i'm the lightest I've been in a few years and was upset about being too skinny before this happened. I just want to gain weight and be healthy again.
I know he has sensory deficiencies, which is why he will throw up anything else you try to give him if he can't tolerate the texture. He is at normal weight for his age, his dentist says his teeth are in great shape, and the doctors say to just let it be. I would like some ideas on how to possibly introduce him to new textures and flavors because i don't care what the doctors say, after awhile, this diet could cause harm.
i dieted to get my weight down and when i started to eat more, i got out of control. now i throw up because i can't seem to keep from eating. i know that some episodes are triggered by stress, but i hink the rest is because of dieting for so long. is there any advice anyone can offer, besides seeing a pyschiatrist?
unico - I'm not sure what the procedure is for listing brand names here (I thought about it after mentioning the eggs) but hope I'm not committing any cyber sins. I use 100% pure whey protein powder from Iron-Tek. Now that doesn't sound good as far as iron but the contents list 0% iron. I prefer the strawberry flavor. I tried a variety of brands and this one really tastes good. The soy based ones seem to have an odd aftertaste. It's a handy way to keep your protein intake up.
For me, I don't think the anemia is a factor, it seems to happen even when I've been taking my iron pills. And I don't think the timing is a factor - I take the iron pills after eating. And thanks to everyone who has contributed!
Get him some Zofran ASAP! Seriously, this is an emergency if he's possibly throwing up his Incivek before it is absorbed. Missing doses or reducing doses of Incivek can lead to viral mutations and the development of an Incivek-resistant strain. If that happens his viral load will start increasing and he will be pulled off tx (and won't be able to retry until new drugs are available). Call his clinic immediately, tell them he is vomiting soon after taking the morning Incivek.
No idea why and there were no feelings prior. After half hour or so, I felt just fine.Only threw up once. A month or so after this I went to the doc for something totally unrelated and it turned out I have PVC (premature ventricular contractions) in my heart and my thyroids are still regular, but slightly on the higher end and doc just said keep comin in for checkups every year or so to keep an eye on it. (PVC's are from stress that I have controlled after the diagnosis).
Walmart doesn't carry this but Vitacost does. I throw in a sublingual B12 bcause you need it if you aren't eating meat. Oh, and I also give him a vit. D because he is working nights and not getting much sunshine. The rest we try to get from super healthy eating. He gets a little treat now and then though :>) Yesterday he had a small serving of Breyers all Natural vanilla bean ice cream with a tablespoon of all fruit blueberry jam on top. He was purring like a cat. Dr.
So here I am let me see 3months out since my hysterectomy. I have hot flashes mainly at night but I havent woken up drenched. I am not on any supplements since we want the endo to regress and not "feed" it anymore. I am having a ct scan in a few weeks to see how things look and then Ill have OP surgery to hopefully remove my stent in my ureter(that things such a b!tch), I havent been moody and I am loving being mainly pain free.
I had a reaction to a sulfa drug years ago so I haven't taken it since. One day after eating eggs for breakfast I had excruciating pain in my back. I went to the chroirpracter and he relieved some of it and he also (crazy as this sounds) massaged my gall bladder from under my ribs. When I set up from the table, I literally belched out loud. I somehow felt better after that. I have noticed that some wines cause the same symptoms too.
He did not have this diagnosis of sensory issues until he was 4, so until then I was baffled as to why he'd gag and throw up all the time when he ate. He could usually eat again right after, often he'd want the same kind of food he'd been eating- so I knew he wasn't sick, and I knew he liked the taste of the food. We never put him on acid reflux meds, I never thought it was reflux because there wasn't any stomach acid- only the food undigested.
I doubt that it has any issues to do with that, because I’ve had this issue back on the mainland when eating my supposed regular diet that I was brought up on. So I think it is something to do either with me, headaches, migraines or sugar/chocolate issues. Maybe eggs to because I’ve eaten a bunch lately. Like 7 within the past few days, I very rarely eat them, but never have issues. Perhaps excessive eggs in one sitting??? I really have not a clue.
You all are going to end up on the emotional eating forum. You can keep your reese cups, I'll pass up sweets any day. Give me some Mexican chips and salsa. Have a good nite you guys.
I was hospitalized with a nasogastric tube for 2 weeks and ever since have had a terrible chronic cough, with mucous in my throat that I cough up until I throw up. I lose my voice to hoarseness after talking a few minutes. When I eat I have to have a glass of water at hand to wash everything down because most foods cause violent coughing when I try to swallow. I have a raw blistered feeling in my mouth all the time.
I have, on SEVERAL occasions, woke up about an hour or so after I dose off (at night) to sleep and I think I see things. Example: I woke up one time swearing that there was a spider on the wall. I woke up my husband and he said there was nothing there. I feel like I'm totally awake, eyes open, speaking clearly, everything. I just don't understand why this happens. Sometimes when it begins, I tell him that it's not like before and I tell him that this time I really do see something. So...
