throat problems knot

Lately, during and after I eat, I get this "burning" in my throat, I do not get heartburn that burns in my chest, just the "burn" in my throat. Also, sometimes it feels like I have a "knot" in my throat and it feels hard to swallow. Now, I have been under lots of stress lately, and I do have a hiatal hernia, it is just this "burning" is bothering me more than usual, normally, I ignore it, but tonight, I am uptight, and everything scares me.

I have times when my throat feels swelled. It will forms a knot on in my throat that hurts in one spot and when I rub the outside of the knot it feels swelled.

Can GERD cause your throat to itch and sometimes i feel a knot in my throat?

My friend has a knot in their throat, and is curious if it could be caused from snorting pills?? I have no idea what to tell them... but as long as they snort a pill and have drainage, the knot doesnt bother them, but if they havent snorted one, they are comparing the pain to that of strep throat... Anyone have any idea what could cause this?

I was at work one night and I drank like 3 cups of hot herbal tea, well I was leaving work and It felt like something was poking the back of my throat and I stuck my finger in the back of my throat to feel it and it felt just like a hard bone. So I waited for a couple days and thought I would wait and see if it went away. Well it didnt so I called my dr. I went in and he felt it, then he had another Dr come in that worked with an oral surgeon.

First, could an allergy flare up be causing the feeling in my neck? Also, i have a knot feeling in my throat, could this be caused by the GERD? also will the immunotheropy with the meds take care of this or do i need to go back to the doctor. I feel like a lot of this is due to the anxiety and meds but not sure. here is what i am taking. Nexium, Allegra, Veramyst, Asmanex, lexapro, Allergy Drops. have the ativan, albuteral just in case but dont use them regularly. What to do?

Is that normal today in the morning i woke up and had a horrible knot in my throat and when i went to the restroom i started throwing up white chunks of i dnt know what. And all day ive been with a knot in my throat i have not been able to eat. I try but it hurts so bad.

I felt much the same way after taking Cymbalta. My throat also felt like I had a knot in it and my head was pulsating. I have taken just about every AD med known to man, including Effexor and the Cymbalta was the only one that gave me problems. Tell your doc about this for sure. PS: Not saying that Cymbalta is a bad AD med, as it works great for many people. Just saying it gave me some pretty nasty symptoms.

I have a knot on my throat right under my chin. Its not connected to my chin but my throat. Its a little painful and it doesnt move.

The problem is yesterday the sides of my thighs became really tender and at two injection sites (different legs) there is a large knot (not a hard knot, but you can definitely feel it as you run your fingers over it - about 5" long by 2" wide). I am taking 50mcg of levothyroxine and I am still very tired.When I started taking it felt like there was a knot in my throat but it went away the second day. Im 18 weeks pregnant. And when my baby moves around i always get this knot feeling in my throat. Is that normal? This is my second child. But I have never felt that with my first child. Someone please help me!!!

s connected (started recently), pain/tightness - what feels like a super tight muscle knot/ball - at the back base of my jaw right below the ear, ear tube pain, ringing in my ears, more so on the right side, which also hurts more. Have a small (unmovable) lump on right side in mouth almost directly under bottom molars. About two years ago, I noticed a knot on the front of my neck. I asked one endocronologist about it (I was having, and continue to still have, strange and undiagnosed thyroid problems) but he basically said it was nothing. About a month ago, I saw a clinic doctor about a recurring sinus infection, sore throat, and cough I've been having, and he noticed the knot, said it was a "nodule," and scheduled an ultrasound, but said there was no rush on it.

Is it possible for a hiatial hernia to cause problems with my throat and voice. My symptoms are loss of voice when I talk for a little while---I can no longer sing---I can't get any range at all----my voice has grown so low that when I answer the phone people think its my husband answering.
