My 19 year old daughter has had a lot of pain in her right rib area and around to the upper back when taking deep breaths. There is no pain when you touch the area. We went to her doctor and she thought pleurisy, so we went to a pulmonologist who did more x-rays and a ct scan with contrast, as well as a breathing test/lung function test. All came back normal, yet she has had the pain consistently for over a month.

Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day and use over-the-counter throat lozenges. Salt water gargle is also a good way to relieve a sore throat. In addition, you can take anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen and paracetamol (acetaminophen) after consulting your general physician. Sucking hard candies and ginger lemon tea and inhaling steam would also help

t fully inhale and I also feel light headed when inhaling. I have noticed that the problem gets worse when I concentrate on it at all. If I am distracted (hard to do when you feel like this) it does lessen. I have also noticed that I can perform physical activity and it doesn't worsen (just remains the same). It's a terrible feeling that causes me to be on the verge of panic all the time. I have test my saturated oxygen levels and they are usually 95%+.
Hello, I would really appreciate an opinion about what I am going to describe here. I am an obese person, aged 34, tall 186 for 120 kg. I don't have a smoking habit, but rarely I have a cigarette (less than one per month). I suffer from hiatus herniation and GERD treated with esomeprazole. On a day in April 2017, I was with some friends having beers and smoking rolled cigarettes without filters. I remember that I was inhaling the smoke (and I guess some of the tobacco) really hard.

Sinusitis has symptoms like feeling pressure on forehead, sinus drainage, fatigue, poor sense to smell and taste, bad breath, sore throat, ear pain etc. You need to undergo detailed evaluation and rule out deviated nasal septum, blocked sinus, presence of foreign body etc.
You should take rest; drink plenty of water, salt water gargle. Antibiotics, antihistamines, cough syrup will help you but to be taken against prescription.
I was originally suffering from some wheezing and lung crackles at end of inhaling, also had trouble catching my breath when exercising. Crackles would mostly disapear for awhile if I coughed enough yelllow mucus up. It then moved away from those symptoms and turned into nasal congestion and post-nasal drip, also had persistent cough and yellow mucus was still being coughed up, just didnt feel as deep as before.

Ladies any remedies for sore throat and headaches?
hi i have been suffering fromheartburn now for a while, i have started to get pain in my ribs and back which is sharp and quite painful.i feel really sick alot of the time, i get acid reflux in my throat which burns and makes me want to vomit.i have ashma, this makes it worse as i keep feeling breathless and feel like soneone steals my breath all of a sudden i cant breath.
I do get relief from cold within 3-4 days, but production of cough doesnt stop.It usually takes 20-25 days when its production stops. Due to cough formation, I feel very uneasy as I need to throw it out from my throat very frequently. Can you suggent me on this, so that its formation doent last long?
Can this also be a symptom of Vocal Cord Dysfunction? My throat usually gets tight just before, and suddenly my throat (vocal cords) close up for a short moment. I can there after breath normally. It isn't something that scares me, but it's very irritating and frustrating not knowing what it is and what causes it. Thank you! God bless!
The next day was the same, except now i had pain when inhaling. This is day 3 and still the pain, also tender to touch. I called off work because i know there is no way i could do it as i am a waitress which requires alot of running around, and carrying heavy trays. I do breath easier if i lay on my right side which is strange because that is the side the pain is on. I know i did not do anything to hurt the rib area so am thinking it has to be a body organ. Gallbladder, liver, strain?
I try to stop breathing fast so that i can talk but i cant help it and then i make a fool out of myself. Even when i actually stop crying, the really fast inhaling continues for a while and then i start shaking like mad. It's almost like fast hiccups one after the other but im just inhaling air. Does any one know why that happens? thankyou.
Hello kind people, hope you're doing good. I am writing here in hope to connect with people who can help analyse what's wrong with my ear. It started 3 months back when I dived into water, My ears hurt so bad I cried and water got stuck/created a blocked feeling. I thought it had almost healed until now. I had bad cold throat some days back, took medicines for the cold BUT my ears are blocked than ever. Also, there is constant cough in my throat.
During the night, I sometimes wake up with the sensation of have a fleck of spit caught in the back of my throat. Like I've accidentally inhaled a bit of saliva. I've tried looking up people having similar problems, and a lot of people mention mucus or phlegm or catarrh, but I distinctly mean spit. It's like when you accidentally inhale a bit of water. It doesn't feel thick or sticky or like something is coating my throat like post nasal drip.
Is it possible to get a bacterial infection in your lungs from inhaling a bug? I did last Friday May 1st and since then my lungs and throat have been sore and it seems to be getting worse.
From around june this year, every time I swallow now my ears make a clicking sound, and from research I have done it could be some kind of eustachian tube problem, also strange globules of mucous sometimes fly out of my nose when I blow or sneeze, which could be possible congestion problem? Doctors have already put me on decongestants, antihistamines, tried antibiotics, nasal sprays and nose drops, also tried inhaling steam but problem just seems to return.
If like me you smoke with it yes it has caused times of panick rare but some occurances of serious panick as incapable to breath efficiently simultaneously burning at that time from reflux I miss swallowed byliva seemingly self occuring from that throat burning filling the mouth causing hard to swallow moments, so yes not to say it is that but yes it can cause inability to swallow and difficulty inhaling simultaneously especially as a smoker for damn sure it does don't smoke with hiatus hern
