hey im a gay 20 year old male. for the past 6+ months i have had oddly bad breath, throat congestion, nasal drip, slight dry cough and shortness of breath and lethargy, and zit like cold sores around the mouth. All of which seems alot worse in the morning and sometimes my neck seems to ache in the mornings too. Last time i was at he doctor he said there was fluid in my ears and post nasal drip. I had mono last Feb pretty bad too..

Hello my name is Jason, I have a girlfriend who has bad breath. Her bad breath only comes around every couple weeks but can last anywhere from a day to a week. My stomach feel bloated and feels like my throat is clogged, it makes it hard for me to breath. I go to the E.R and they say I have strep throat. I finally decide to go to the Gastroenterology ...they do the thing where you put the camera in your stomach and an ultra sound...result come back and they say I have an infection, the prescribe me antibiotics.

I also have severe LPR. One of the symptoms is chronic bad breath from all of the stomach acid that keeps refluxing into the throat area. No, I don’t think that it’s related. Unless there is some chance you have the infection in your throat but I doubt you do. I am guessing the two things are unrelated. I’ve been dealing with a MDR strain of MGen for about 9 months now and I haven’t noticed bad breath.

I dont seem to be able to remove the mucus from the back of my throat which from what I can gather triggers the bad breath. I am constantly coughing up mucus and food seems to get lodged in my throat. Any advice or solutions would be most welcome. Mine is little different because where ever I am at this smell stays in, my room , at work and in my car.. and the smell changes all the time it depends what I eat. About ten years ago I had a root canal done. Ever since then I noticed my breath began began to get worse. Now it has come to the point that my breath can be smelled a mile away. Even when my mouth is closed it can be smelled. I brush fequently, use mouthwash and floss and the smell never change not even for a minute. When I eat the smell is even worse.I've gone to the dentist and they ruled out gum disease. I also went to the doctor and they can't find anything wrong with me.

I get very itchy throat and lungs with asthma symptoms and when my coughing is bad I get a red, irriated throat and very sore muscles in my chest. So yes, those are possible symptoms of asthma but probably minor secondary ones.

Does anyone get patm reactions when they breathe? I suffer from bad breath, but it’s not coming out of my mouth, but from my posterior wall of the pharynx or esophagus. I rinse my throat with antibacterial solutions, but it still doesn’t help, cause the source of the smell is located deeper. I don’t have tonsillitis. My smell is very sour, like a kefir. I also had and cured gastritis, but it didn’t help. I still get reactions like coughing, itchy eyes, stomachaches and etc.

I think I would have called my doctor if there were more symptoms put together - which could mean infection or any danger to my bump.
