That same night I begin to develop a soar throat. 5 days later I begin to have the tingling sensation in my penis and then 2 days later I still had some of it and my doctor gave me Cephalexin 500 MG 3x a day and Acyclovir 800 MG 3x a day. I noticed the testicles to be hanging for past few says and a bit red. Today is a bit less in them hanging. I've also taken some leaf extract pills and some other herbal pills. On penis or anywhere on it, I have not seen any sores so far or any blisters.
Well, it may not be strep if he hasn't done a strep test or culture. Do you have pus in your throat or did you? Do you have a high fever/ He is probably just treating for a variety of bacteria. Yes if you haven't cleared the sore throat and ear infection (which could also be viral. You should really get cultures done if it hasn't cleared or clarify if he thinks it is viral but is treating empircally to make sure you don't get a secondary infection such as pneumonia.

The white spots on tonsil could be pus due to infection, chronic pus pocket, chronic tonsillitis or it could be due to candida or fungal infection. Scraping from the tonsil should be cultured. If you also have sore throat, pain in throat and are running a temperature, then this needs to be treated with anti-inflammatory, anti fever and anti-histamine medications. Warm saline gargles help.

Went to the dr in late November for strep throat and a sinus infection, tested negative for strep but I have cobblestone throat and my left tonsil is inflamed. My doctor said I have some pus behind It & I have a small hole on my tonsil as well. My throat does not hurt and I no longer have any symptoms. I have taken both azthromycin and doxycycline. My throat still looks the same. My doctor has said just to keep an eye on it. Should I just go ahead and go to an ENT?

Any infection in the body should be treated. Dental abscesses and pus pockets in the throat warrant evaluation and complete treatment with antibiotics. Persistent sore throat can be due to many causes like glandular fever, tonsillitis, laryngitis and cancer. It is suggested to see an ENT surgeon and get checked. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. Hope it helps.

Hi, no std shows up the next day so its not related to the act. This throat infection (sounds like staph) probably started a few days before the incedent as takes time for bacterias to multiply and spread like your describing.
The doctor has a doctor/patient relationship with you and cannot tell anyone about your visit or diagnsoes.
Do you have any white spots like pus in the back of the throat or tonsil area, had any fever? Usually, you get a fever with a bacterial infection. It could also be viral. But I do trust the ENT's they are good. It is possible that it is a resistant bacteria. Some how I'm not surprised at the GP giving you too much antibiotics and miscalling a lymph node in the groin area.
Anyways, It has been about 3 days and it seems like the abscess is constantly leaking pus down my throat. My throat is sore and raw, I constantly taste the foul pus, especially when i talk or put any type of pressure on the area. I can't take it being that i am a germ freak. I have tried to pop it but it just slowly comes out (no blood) and It seems like its a small, hard, white ball that kind of moves around under the gum. I don't know what to do??? Please help?

I'm assuming you're not in the States by the meds you have mentioned. I'm not a pro but I wonder if you have Strep throat as I had white pus, possible blisters on the back of my tongue, tonsils and throat. I had strep along with mononucleosis. (30 years go :) )I also had a bad taste in my mouth. I think you can have strep with or without a sore throat. It's worth asking your doctor about mononucleosis and strep if you haven't already.
if there is pus and a fever. That is an indication of a throat infection . The most common throat infection is due to "Strep" . Viruses don't usually cause pus. A strep test only usually picks up Group A strep or Streptococcus pyogenes. But the culture should show any type of throat infection. PCR can also do this or molecular methods.

You have Tonsilitis or Strep Throat ... You would need antibiotics to kick out all infection....
