This time it was 3 weeks with nothing coming out so i took miralax for a couple days and then had a lot of diarreha so i stopped the miralax and 2 days layer every morning i wld go to the bathroom but it wld be long very thin or flat ribbon like. I still feel bloated and uncomfortable. Im so scared about the ribbon stool because everything online says cancer or blockage. Im a 38 yr old female. Also i started the miralax again last night but havent went to the bathroom yet.
I would love to purchase a Chiari Ribbon...like the Cancer Ribbon....but I don't know where to purchase them at....If anyone knows let me know...
However, I have noticted more ribbon like stools, constipation, and diarrhea off and on for the last 6 months. I changed my diet but have noticted that nothing has gotten better. I have lost some weight but don't know if it's due to stress. They already ruled out gynelogical reasons. I'm going to see my PCP tomorrow about this issue, but she didn't seem concerned about it last month.
t have abdominal pain or blood in my stool aswell as none on the toilet paper so what could this be I am a worry wart and my worst fear is getting cancer is this an early stage of colon cancer or prostate cancer if anyone has any info I'm sure it would help oh one more thing sometimes i find my poo has little white type fibers on the ends is it related ?
Thin, or ribbon like, stools are usually indicative of some sort of obstructive issue within the colon, or within the abdominal cavity pressing on the wall of the colon, therefore obstructing passage of normal sized, or normal shaped stool. If it is also accompanied by blood, of ANY quantity or color, SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY!
but than bigger problem started once my stomach became upset and in dark i thought it black googled again and found cancer i forgot previous problems and they all gone but new started as now i have blood in stool and mucus.
which makes me worried all the time i google and read patient story about colon/rectal/stomach cancer.
stool comes normal first and than becomes watery or diarrhea.
now sometimes stool comes ribbon type not so much thin but sometime it happens.
Lately I have noticed a lot of dark, ribbon like stools. They usually float (not sure if that means much). They are usually quite thin, maybe the width of a pencil, with lengths varying from small to medium. Many times they are dark but sometimes they are not. I have had several occasions of abdominal pain. Tonight I had some so bad it had me concerned. It was quite sharp and seemed focused on my midsection.
my mother thinks she has throat cancer...i think barretts....since she was little she would always have her stomach acid flow through her throat.....( idon't know if that makes sense, like when she is laying down it flows back into her throat) and so over the years, her throat has suffered from the acid...she also feels pain in her throat...her throat burns everytime she talks and swallows (occasionally). her voice has became rough/scratchy. she also feels a lump in her throat.
