Fears like yours are not unusual these days, as a result of much media attention to throat cancer and its relation to HPV-16, one of the sexually transmitted HPV types. However, the problem is far less common than you might assume.
That said, your concern about oral HPV is misplaced; you should not be at all worried. Oral HPV causes no symptoms; there is no chance such an infection explains the pain you are experiencing in your throat, lips, or anywhere else.
I am at the early stages of PPT (I also have postpartum anxiety) my endocrinologist put me on Tapazole 2 weeks ago. I have a mild soar throat but I believe it's merely the remnants of a cold. However, I am losing an insane amount of hair, above the average hair loss due to postpartum. Is this the combo of thyroid, meds and postpartum... I'm on tapazole 10mg daily dose. My question is, are multiple canker sores, specifically recurring canker sores, symptoms of early stages of HIV? I ask because even though I have had canker sores in the past, now I am getting it over and over for the past 3-4 weeks.
I don't think I have had any other symptoms except for maybe a sore throat (which could have been caused by the canker sores).

The official stages for breast cancer are Stages 0 through Stage IV, and each stage and subcategory of the stages has clearly defined features.

(They also mentioned that some people "unofficially" talk about Stage V when there is nothing more that can be done except palliative treatment.
