complaining

3561313 tn?1347616992 It was like grasping at straws - but I had no hope left - so, I took the drug. The first few hours, I was able to hold up a book to read. A week later, I was learning to walk. I went on to recover fully from my disorder (which, to this day, drs here have not given a name or identified) I got married in my late twenties and gave birth to three sons. This son that I am writing about is my youngest. The two elder brothers are alright physically.
Avatar n tn The ecg came back normal the first time the nurse did the test, after that she done another test and it said i had a right ventricular hypertrophy. She done another two tests and they came back as right ventricular hypertrophy. She insisted i dont leave the building until i seen my doctor, he said he wasnt convinced it was a right ventricular hypertrophy and i should come back next week after my blood tests come back.
Avatar n tn Thanks. But my real question here is about the HDL. At 21, should I be running to an ER or doctor because I am at risk of heart attack? Its got me very worried and since its the weekend, no doctor for a few days...
Avatar n tn He has mentioned nosebleeds lately (not excessive but more than none, which he had before) He is complaining about heartburn, He is complaining about urinating in the nighttime, headaches seem to be more frequent, he is taking a ton of tylenol for aches and pains. He is a construction worker so it is a very physical job, he is never sitting. He has also been complaining of the TV or computer being dark, (I dont think so).
Avatar f tn s no need to be rude some people have no one to talk to but the girls on here. Like myself.
Avatar f tn The rule of thumb is this; if it comes from a box, a bag or a drive through window avoid it. Stay away from processed foods as much as possible and replace them with fruits, veggies and nuts where practical. Also, keep up the exercise as it increased HDL which helps your body eliminate LDL. Also, get some fish in your diet, mostly deep water fish like ocean salmon, cod and tuna. You're on the right track, ask your doc about some Omega 3 fatty acids as well. Good work and keep it up!
Avatar f tn I feel exactly the same way you do.. I'm 37+2. I don't want to do anything but lay in bed. All the pains are horrible. I couldn't walk the other day due to back pain. I want her out but then I think the longer she's in there the healthier shell be. I have a 4 yr old son and I'm at a pizza arcade place right now but ugh I have no energy. LOL. Not to much longer.
Avatar n tn What is your history with this? I would seek medical advise....
1647333 tn?1302443078 It is very important to identify the underlying cause of the problem. If his heart is enlarged due to dilation it can remodel itself once the underlying cause has been resolved and return to it's normal size. If it is enlarged due to hypertrophy, it is even more important that it is controlled as this is a leading cause of sudden cardiac death in otherwise healthy young people. Not trying to scare anyone, just laying out the facts.
Avatar n tn I'm a 40yr old male, 180lbs, non-smoker, non-drink, no drug use, no other health issues. About once a month (for the past year) I get these attacks/episodes with hypertension 150/100+, shivering, and sternum/stomach pain. Sometimes I will also get tachycardia, cold hand/feet, severe dizziness, blurred vision, and exhaustion.
Avatar n tn There was an investigation of the females who did AIT there. Due to a mix up I was sent to Ft. Gordon . The females who went there were also interviewed. My name not being on the Ft. Gordon list, i was never interviewed.
Avatar n tn It could be a concern about production of artifacts (obscured visibility) as it may lead to an underinterpretation of true perfusion abnormalities, since the effects of soft tissue attenuation may be overestimated by the observer. In other words an artifact can not rule a positive observation but for the artifact. You may want to discuss the matter with our doctor as it may depend on what is being obscurred.
Avatar f tn t have great insurance and am also starting to worry about the costs since I have no idea what the weekly treatments will cost or if they are covered by insurance. All of this so new that I don't know where to start in terms of seeking information and learning the terminology and what it all means (what is svr?). Have you heard of any books that give a kind of step by step guide that the average person could read and understand? Thanks for your support.
Avatar f tn and i hate him more thn ive ever hated anyone, he confirmed tht he was taking her for lunch etc i just got back from home today id been talking to friends at home about what had happened and they found it odd and also knew of the unspoken rule.
Avatar m tn I just wonder if the incident with the masseuse gave me some obscure viral infection which no one seems to know anything about or could it be HPV or BV or something else. I am desperate to find a cure and wonder if you can help. Anxiously waiting to hear as this thing is totally stressing me out. Gordon.
Avatar f tn At least the bleep out the really bad words, lol. Seriously, Gordon Ramsey is not like that in real life. I saw him give an interview one time and he's actually a pretty mild mannered man for the most part. He does love to cook! He says he does it with his daughters all the time. When asked if he yells at his daughters or wife like he does on the show he said of course not! It's all an act, you know, to make the show more entertaining and get better ratings.
541196 tn?1293552936 t stressed enough about having to pay for it, I got a bill yesterday from the hospital for the thyroid sonogram (which by the way came back completely normal) for $600. This blows. I just don't want to spend this kindof money on these things. I like to hord my money and spend it on fun things. LOL.
Avatar f tn s like two toddlers him and the little one running around lol he said no more pets because the house will be too crowded when baby gets here

Avatar f tn When I and or my doctors do the Babinski test my toes curl INWARDS etc always, however I’m abit confused; when I do the Gordon test, my toes still curl INWARDS, is this normal? What I’m asking is, whatever test I do ALWAYS makes my toes curl inwards which I was told is normal however online it doesn’t specify if Gordon’s test is suppose to have any reaction, it only says it’s abnormal if your big toe goes backwards? Is it normal for your toes to go/curl inwards when doing the Gordon’s test?
Avatar n tn s the only way to rule out your heart as the cause. If your CT comes back showing the possibility of blockages, then you'll need an angiogram to determine the extent and place stents if necessary.
Avatar n tn An echo looks at the valves and structure of the heart, and the twenty four hour holter records the heart beats, but neither would determine if you have blockages in the arteries. You would need a heart catherization or a stress test to investigate your heart arteries.
