Is intuition more common in those with bipolar disorder? Just a random thought of mine 'cause I have a very strong intuition.

So who on here has had a set feeling they are either having a boy or a girl but were told the opposite of that feeling? For my whole pregnancy I have felt that we were having a boy this time. Ultrasound tech says we're having a girl at 27 weeks and said the labia was real swollen (can they be swollen that early? Just curious).

I didi knew mine was a boy and just found out today it was a boy!!!

Well, I just got back from the doc and the u/s not successful. My OB has a very very old machine and when he did the u/s he wasn't able to tell me the gender of the baby. The heart beat was 144 which is the lowest it's ever been.... I was so anxious to know the gender and I ask my doc if he would take a guess what would it be and he said "My Intuition tells me is a boy"....well I must admit when I heard that I was kind of down b/c I was really hoping he would say girl.

I had the feeling I was having a girl way before week 20 and I'm having a baby girl :) I know I'll be early, I just know I won't make it to week 40, actually my baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead already!

Hypomania is distinguished from mania by the absence of psychotic symptoms. In other words if there are psychotic features its mania. BP2's can get psychotic features in mania the same as anyone does. Is this what you are referring to on the Black Dog Site ?

ill be 17 weeks when i find out and i also have had a strong feeling that its a girl....and my whole side of the family also thinks its a girl but DF's whole side thinks its a boy so now im really confused with what i think....i thought i really "knew" it was a girl but now i dont know what i "know" lol i just dont want to look silly with thinking i have this super strong intuition and then have it be a boy lol.....

m not having a girl someone will be getting brand new girl clothes. Have you ever been wrong with your intuition with the sex of your baby?

I had a gut feeling from the moment I found out I was pregnant that I was having a girl. I had dreams of a baby girl every night for months. Always referred to her as "her" "she"....and so did everyone else without even thinking! I had no doubt.

You know what else is hilarious? I was just thinking, "Someone is going to wonder where Brown Eyed Gurl is and ask" and this post popped up the next day! It must be intuition!!! I giggled when I saw the post. And I'm SO GLAD people are wondering about her. She was an awesome contributor on here and I hope she comes back soon!

Knew my first was a girl & also knew this one was a boy :)

With my twins the lab tech doing my bloid test told me dont think about it just answer the first thing that comes out boy or girl. Crazy I said twins. Foyr weeks later my first u/s and yep twins.

In my heart I felt I would be having a boy. My hubby thought we we're having a girl and my mother also had a feeling it was gonna be a girl she really didn't say but she was always just picking out girl names. I would say why are you picking only girl names we don't know the gender yet. Something deep down inside I felt it would be a boy and boom boy it was. I'm a ftm at the age of 25.

But then I wanted a girl lol.

i had a hunch with all my kids and i was right everytime. even when i went to er for emergancy u/s with my middle girl, the dr. said he thought he saw a penis. and i still said nooo its a girl. and sure enuff she was.

I knew my daughter was a girl from the time they said I was pregnant lol. They confirmed girl. She's now 3. This time I'm not sure. We want another girl which is why I think it could be a boy.

I am only 6 weeks along, but I more than believe I am having a girl. I have had a dream about having a baby girl. I have had a type of morning sickness since 5 dpo which I never had with my son. (So symptom wise I also believe I'm having a girl since it's opposite from my son, though I know every pregnancy is different).

Yes my husband and I kept picking out girls names the day we saw the 2 lines confirming we were pregnant. We waiting about 8 weeks to find out we were right.

Michelle, can you not call the doctor's office and tell them that you're stressing and ask to reschedule for an earlier date?? My philosophy is that me stressing is the worst thing I can do to my baby so I'm going to do all I can to prevent that stress and the only thing I know to do is to keep going for u/s. Good grief. When I did my first beta, I couldn't get through a DAY! I did a beta every day for 6 days.

Did anyone know what you were having? I was told boy at 15 weeks and my mommy instincts are screaming girl!! It was an elective 3d ultrasound and the lady said "boy" so fast and didn't really show the area but for a few seconds. I didn't get a pic of the "boy bits" either. I will find out for sure in 4 weeks..

I went out Saturday night with my friend. She and I had a drink at a bar, and ventured down to a different one . Met a group of guys there, and they bought drinks and shots for me and my friend. They invited us to a club, they had the vip room reserved and had bottles of vodka. We followed. I normally drink like a champ and I handle my beer/mixed drinks/ shots fine and dandy- I'm talking after 10 -15 drinks i may be sloshed but I'm coherent and I remember everything.

I read a post about 2 days ago, where every ultrasound baby looked like a boy and the lady gave birth to a healthy baby girl, uncommon but I guess it still happens, happened to be the baby's umbilical cord! Guess there's no way to be 100% sure until baby is here! Good luck!

I was reaching to put something in the grass when I was coming back from break at work and I had my keys in my right hand and it felt as if my keyring pinched me right on the inside of my middle finger right above where my finger attaches to my hand. I dropped my keys and it got tons worse. If a yellowjacket or wasp sting is a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 in pain, this was more like an 8.
