Due to excess and deficiency of testosterone in a fall and rise kind of pattern irreversible side-effects are very common. That is why they are usually not preferred. Testosterone skin patches provide physiological testosterone replacement, with night-time applications leading to a pattern of circulating concentrations similar to that normally seen in healthy males. Side effects usually are skin reactions which can lead to discontinuation of therapy. Do you have any skin reactions?
If I were to switch to the shots or the pellets would that rid me of the current side effects that I'm suffering from?
I also had funny beard growth and the same with my hair, and this is down to low testosterone, my way out at first was with DHEA, but please read up about it first as its a hormon replacement, and can have some funny side effects with the odd person.
At one time I had it all set up to start and once the meds arrived did I realize some of the possible side effects. They never told me of any side effects I had to read that one on my own. He has been thru so much now and when I found out Leukemia and Brain cancer were some possible side effects I refused to give this to him thought I would rather have him alive as to take a chance of giving him cancer again or even a worse kind and possibly kill him.
Has anyone experienced any bad side effects from the hcg shots? I am administering them myself and just want to know what to look out for.
Other side effects may occur, including sexual dysfunction. Possible sexual side effects can include anorgasmia, reduced libido and impotence.[23]" Regarding the prozac inhibiting the T shots from working, I'd have to say that they are certainly not helping. I don't know if it's ever been shown that they counter testosterone production, but logic tells me that is probably the case. What dosage of Prozac are you taking for your depression?
HI AS U GUYS KNOW IM THINKING ABOUT TRYING HCG SHOTS AND JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY SIDE EFFECTS FROM HCG USAGE.
When will they drop and how long will it last until I make my own again? What are other side effects of quitting testosterone injections and how bad should I expect it to be? I'm afraid that I may have permanently damaged by body's ability to make testosterone and that it may never return to normal. Please help with info.
im considering taking hcg shots to boost my testosterone levels. i only wanna get my testosterone levels to 1200ng/dl. which is considered a healthy high level for my age. how much hcg should i take and how often should the doses be. and should i cycle on it. also should i take an anti-estrogen with it to prevent side effects like gyno. im not looking to abuse hcg like some bodybuilders do. i just wanna take it to get to a healthy normal range of testosterone for my age thats all.
A friend of my sent me to a Doc that raises tour testosterone using bio similar steroids . No side effects supposedly . He put six pellets in my hip .It's been 3 weeks and I feel terrific . I haven't had my blood test to check my testosterone but I suspect it will be in the six hundred range . I suggest to anyone to have your testosterone level raised with bio similar steroids. Oh by the way it lasts six months .
Not only that, but it's right on pfizer's website, in the side effects for Depo®-Testosterone testosterone cypionate injection. Decrease libido is a possible side effect. Right now I'm off of everything, and am trying herbal supplements and an over the counter estrogen blocker. The drive is coming back, but it's slow. A friend recommended i try a different ester of testosterone. Enenthate instead of Cypionate. So those of you experiencing this problem, might consider that.
HELLO EVERYONE I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW THE SIDE EFFECTS FROM HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE SHOTS. I HEARD THAT IT CAUSES PROBLEMS WITH T3 AND COULD CAUSE HYPOGLYCEMIA. ANYONE KNOW ABOUT HGH SIDE EFFECTS.
I finally went to my family doctor, who stated that my testosterone level is low--170, and told me to make an appt to come in. Is depression/anxiety a symptom of low testosterone, and are the side effects of testosterone therapy ones that will increase hypomanic symptoms. I am a little worried?
except for I don't really like how one side of his penis looks now that it is healing. The effects of the testosterone have worn off now, thank God. It was not fun dealing with that. Our son was tested for everything under the sun, so I'm sure he was tested for AIS. Although, he has a rather large (Daddy is proud of this!) size so there was no question about his gender when he was born. He had a mild form of hypospadias with the "hole" right on the underside of the head.
These drugs act at the vascular level and should be discussed before trying something more radical. The side effects of these drugs would be minimal and of so much lesser intensity than that with the T replacement. T replacement has risks of cancer associated with it, and you can try other options that include testosterone-enhancing food groups and supplements first.
She was like a guinea pig and now, 8 years after, she is living with side effects that have never gone : hypotension (around 8), fainding every day, unbearable headaches, kidney pyelonephritis every months, and an exhausting fatigue that keep her in her bed sometimes several days, where she can hardly eat alone. Before that, she was so full of life, making car races, flying planes, being a model for photographes, and photographer herself.
Is it like saying just taking longer birth control pills? What are the side effects? What are the benefits? Has FDA approved? Where i can search more about Yaz? Will it affect my future plan of having a healthy pregnancy? Also, i was told if i do want to get pregnant, i should wait 6 months after taking the birth control pills. is that true?
Around the same time my brother started to feel the same (he's 21) and he went in and got checked out and it turns out he had low testosterone. And he now takes T shots and feels better now. So i decided to get some blood work done too and my testosterone was lower than his. I forget what it was it was either 261 or 361 but my Dr.
Side effects include diarrhea, dry mouth, constipation, an unpleasant taste, hives, impotence, palpitations, high blood pressure, and fast heart rates. Central nervous system side effects include overstimulation, insomnia, restlessness, tremor, and dizziness. http://www.medicinenet.com/phentermine/article.
In the first two weeks that I started taking it, I experienced erectile dysfunction and low libido, but then I read that with continued use, the side effects go away. So I continued using it, and luckily, the side effects had completely gone away and I used the drug for 3 years with no problems. If anything, my libido was slightly increased using propecia (which is a known side effect in some users).
I've noticed myself that around the last two days before my next injection my moods swing to the poor side but not too bad really. I mainly went on testosterone to help with my extreme lethargy. My sex drive was ok but I did have problems with ejaculation quite frequently. After taking the injections for this length of time now, the sex issues have disappeared in fact, have increased so my wife tells me to settle down!
I am also very interested in how the testosterone shots go. I have thought about them for myself. it is not unusual for women to be low in testosterone. it occurs natuarlly in women too but is counter balanced by estrogen. maybe i need some of that? lol, i don't think so. i have noticed that adrenalin is great for fighting pain(as are other naturally occurring chemicals)and have often thought about getting my levels of all these chemicals checked. maybe i should. Nick.
Insomnia and brain fog seem to be incredibly rare (in fact almost undocumented) side effects of TRT. Has anyone else experienced either of these things while on the treatment, and if so, is it anything I should be worried about? Could this waking up in the middle of the night constantly be linked in any way to ‘sleep apnea’? (I doubt this is the case as I am certainly not overweight and have never woken up and struggled to breathe, but I just thought I would make sure).
My doctor thought it was enviormental (exercise, stress...etc) as I just started to go do body pump right around that time. Every cycle before that was 30-31 days to the day!! So we will see.....
(not this one) Okay, now, my concern is the effcts after STOPPING yasmin. I understand that all bc pills are different and so are we women as far as side effects go. I have read postings about women who stopped taking yasmin and have experienced the following: - anxiety, panic attacks, heart palpitations and fluttering - depression - excessive weight gain - hair loss *I already have a prob. with depression, anxiety and panic attacks, so I am currently on medication.
I don't have a clue as tinnitus is not listed on any of the side effects I've so far found online.
Getting on the Testosterone therapy has many cautions and seems a bit intimidating...both from a side effects standpoint, and from a long term, life long need perspective. Any experiences out there with this issue post-tx? Hey Jim, are you still around eyeballing this place from time to time? Copyman?? any others that have had direct experience with the low T???
I am certain, without a doubt that I have hypogonadism, (probably primary hypogonadism), and I want to know if blood tests check for testosterone levels so that I can hopefully get referred to a urologist/endocrinologist so that i can get prescribed androgel or testosterone shots. Just wondering, how likely is it that your family doctor will tell you to see a urologist/endrocrinologist if your regular and free testosterone levels are below 300ng/dl?
I was fortunate enough to be treated with pegylated interferon and ribaviran combination therapy for 48 weeks in 2006/07. I had many side effects during treatment, but I have cleared the virus. The comments from all of you are mirroring my life. I have joint pain in my fingers, wrists, elbows, ankles, knees, hips. I have muscle aches and fatigue from any activity. I have depression. I have lower back pain. I don't sleep well.
