Avatar m tn I have BPH (an enlarged prostrate) ,and I have recently discovered after a back injury that I have a herniated disc at L4,L5 and a small inguinal hernia on the left side.I suffer pain in my lower abdomin and testicals. The testicular pain is constant and a dull pain that can get worse if I exercise ,play tennis, golf etc.I don't know if the testicular pain is coming from my back herniated disc or from the hernia.
Avatar m tn Since last many months I feel occasional pain on the outer size of the testicular sac, ie, areas touching the thighs. My work involves long hours of sitting, and this gives me kind of burning senstation again in the testicular area. Sitting w/o u/w helps. Few nights back I had nocturnal discharge with immense pain on the outer sides of the sac. My question is this, there is no pain on ejaculation while I am awake, then why nocturnal discharge is painful?
Avatar m tn Hello there. I have this weird testicular pain during the past two weeks. I have been experiencing on and off pain in my right testicle. The pain is not dull. It is more of discomfort. I have browsed for the possible diseases related to testicular pain but I can't find enough symptoms that would match my condition. I don't experience any abdominal pain, no blood in urine or semen, no fever I can't even find a lump in either of my testicles.
Avatar n tn If the pain worsens then pls consult a urologist and get the other causes of testicular pain like epididymitis, orchitis, testicular torsion or any tumors of the testicles ruled out. Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar m tn (sort of like that sagging skin around you neck when you get older). For the last several months there has been an accompanying lower back pain, mainly on the left. Sometimes I get lower front abdominal pain but that comes and goes and isn't severe. I do masturbate frequently so naturally i am wondering if I have created some condition and keep it aggravated. I am very concerned because I never had a problem before and symptoms, at the worst, point to testicular cancer.
Avatar m tn Can you tell me more about the back pain? Were you checked for kidney stones? Testicular pain, or any pain in one or both sides of the scrotum should be taken seriously. The main causes for testicular or scrotal pain include the following: infection or inflammation such as epididymitis (inflammation of one or both epididymes), trauma or injury or torsion. Other causes to consider are: testicular tumors, hernia, pudendal nerve damage, or kidney stones.
Avatar m tn Epididymitis may be recurrent and it is a likely differential for persistent or recurrent testicular pain. Recurrent testicular pain may also have prostatitis as a differential. Prostatitis may not necessarily show any inflammation or swelling as in the case of the more chronic forms . Also, there seems to be no definite treatment for the chronic noninflammatory type (prostatodynia). Have you been assessed along this line?
Avatar m tn A little background. I had a vasectomy in 2014. A few months after that procedure, a cyst was found in my testicles (benign) and subsequently removed. Since then, I have experienced severe testicular pain that comes and goes. I had ultrasounds which essentially showed nothing and I've had two spermatic cord nerve blocks which don't help. A month or so ago, I passed a kidney stone.
Avatar n tn for about a month now i have had periodic pain in my testicles and sometimes pain in my groin. i also sometimes have scrotal discomfort and pain at the tip of my penis and lately after i masturbate i have bad penis pain for a couple of minutes. also everyonce in a while i have some pain below my scrotum do you think this is testicular cancer and if not what could it be?
Avatar n tn 2, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Syphilis- All negative except for Herpes1. I have pain in my hips and on the back side of my testicles (tender to the touch). No pain in urination and no outword signs of any sores? I have been to my doctor and he did a physical exam and said it might be lower back pain? I am not so sure... First, how reliable is tstd.com (seems pretty good as I used a clinic to withdraw blood and urine). And two, what is causing these symptoms almost 11 mths after exposure?
Avatar m tn May 27th I received unprotected oral sex for maybe a few minutes at most. Around June 8th my lower back started to hurt, and as of June 13th my left testicle has been in pain. I have been taking anti inflam. for pain, but concerned that I contracted either non chlamydial NGU or Gonorreah. I understand from reading posts that these are the 2 bacterial infections one can catch from receiving oral sex?
Avatar m tn I feel your pain. I have had this on and off pain in my right testicle for 14 months. I actually just posted about it 5 minutes ago. It is very frustrating. Have you had your lower back checked out? They found a bulging disc in my lower back that is pushing on the nerves that go into my groin. I still don't know if that is the problem. I am too worried about infertility or that it could be serious.
Avatar m tn Immediately afterwards, I noticed testicular pain in my right testicle. About ten days later, I developed a few tiny bumps on my penis head. A couple weeks later I developed an itch on my scrotum and it got hot and sweaty. I got tested for STDs (everything except herpes) and they said I had yeast. I went to a Urologist and they prescribed anti-fungal powder and said the spots were just oil glands.
Avatar m tn t find any cause of pain. He sent me for an ultrasound scan which came back negative. I was referred to a urologist who examined me and could not find any problems, and just send me on my way. I am still worried because the pain has not gone I have no treatment/medication and do not know what to do next. Any advice?
Avatar n tn As far as I know it worked, but the pain came back. I went and got an ultrasound and seen a urologist and he said that there was nothing wrong with me. So I am curious if there is any type of condition that could cause this? (And as another note, sometimes masturbating helps, I don't know if that information would help figure out the problem, but figured I would mention it.
Avatar m tn Has anyone experienced, or known of any men with MS who experience testicular pain as a symptom. I've been experiencing this type of pain off and on (mostly on) for about 10-12 years. For the longest time, until the dx of MS, physicians have not been able to offer any explinations as to its origins. The pain is similar to an electric shock. The pain lasts for only a few seconds but repeats every minute of so and goes on for weeks and months.
Avatar n tn Hi, for a several weeks now, i have been having mild testicular pain(right testicle), and a little bit of pain in my lower right back and groin that seem to be occuring at the same time. Lately ive been passing a lot of gas, and i have had some diarhea and a little constapation. I went to see my doctor b4 the gas she said i might have epidiymitis and told me to rest. It felt better after a while but i recently traveled to a different part of the country and i havent been able to contact her.
Avatar m tn I am 42 yrs old and lately have had severe pain in the right testical, it feels as if someone is hitting it with a ballpeen hammer, this pain lasted for most of one night and the next day was gone, however it is back but more of a pulsating pain now it was sunday when pain first appeared its now thursday. The right testical is also swollen and about 2-3 times larger than left.
Avatar m tn m not a doctor but a sore throat with testicular pain can be caused by Strep B. A severe sore throat is one symptom of strep B. I had a vasectomy done in 1999. I ended up with a hematoma which was removed two days later during an emergency surgery. A small hole in the scrotum never closed, told not to worry. A year later I end up with a sore throat headache and a sore swolen left side of the scrotum.
Avatar m tn Pain may also come from overlaps in the nerves. There are some patients with problems in the back but report pain in the testicles, this is because the testes were originally inside the abdomen during embyonic development and descend into the scrotum. Hence, your doctor would likely inquire about any problems which you may think is too distant from the testicle and hence insignificant.
Avatar m tn I think it happened when I was moving some furniture. The back pain has been mostly constant for about 3 weeks. After the back pain started, I noticed that I have had some discomfort and pain in my testicle (left side), which has lasted for a couple weeks on and off. My doctor gave me 800mg ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer to take before I go to sleep. I was starting to feel better and then had too much to drink at a wedding and woke up in pain again the next day.
Avatar m tn Today the pain is less but I have a dull ache in my groin area and a little pain when I bend over. Lower back pain aswell (could be unrelated). Should I see my physician (could take a few days and I just saw her last week for my arthritis in my shoulder) or go to the walk in clinic earliest available time, or not go at all since the pain seems to be fading. I am 33 and slightly overweight. Any help would be appreciated.
