You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Also retract the foreskin daily and soak in warm water to clean penis and foreskin.

If this is the case then avoid cleaning solutions, and don't soak the nails in water for too long as it will worsen the condition. There are many species of fungi that can affect nails. One of them is caused by yeast called Candida. It is more common in fingernails and may be the most common cause of fungal fingernails. Candida can cause yellow, brown, white, or thickened nails. Creams and other topical medications are usually not effective against nail fungus.
Hello, From the symptoms the possibility of yeast or candida infection needs to be ruled out. Wash your penis daily and then dry thoroughly by pat drying, not rubbing. The damp skin is an ideal site for fungi to multiply. Also wear cotton underwear and change them twice a day and do not share other people’s towels. Application of local antifungal cream(terbinafine, clotrimazole, econazole, ketoconazole, miconazole) and oral antifungal drugs are the mainstay of treatment.

Hello, Fungal infection of feet is called athlete’s foot and if your borther puts it in the mouth then it may get transmitted to his lips and mouth causing oral thrush or candida infection which is a fungal infection of mouth. He should keep his feet dry and apply zinc oxide based diaper rash ointment. Most cases of fungal infections respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole.
No nothing else, I think that's your issue right there. She should get treated for thrush/Candida infection (the most common type of yeast infection). If gone untreated or treated poorly, then it can spread to the rest of the body, which might explain her sores..although I'm not sure that it can cause sores. Not a lot of research has been done for Candida infections. Either way, it's difficult to spread to males because the male reproductive organs are enclosed.
Basically Itraconazole is more wide spectrum and less toxic than ketoconazole and has been hence used for a variety of fungal infections chief being aspergillus, blastomycosis, sporotrichosis, histoplasmosis, and onychomycosis and ketoconazole is often used for Candida, Histoplasma, Coccidioides, and Blastomyces (although it is not active against Aspergillus).
Hi there, One night about 2 weeks ago ( after sitting on my bum for about an hour and a half) i relaised i had a bright red patch between my buttocks. It sort of looked like it was where the skin was touching- but was most definately very red, almost looked like an allergic reaction or something. The next morning, it had gone doen, nut there was still quite a dark tan discolouration between the buttocks.
For confirmation, microscopic examination and culture of the scrapings is usually done.Even a small sample is sufficient to test for candida but false negative results are possible when the scrapings have been scrapped off or some hot liquids taken before the test. I sincerely advise you to consult a physician and get it rechecked.
Hey there for the past 8 months after un protected sex I have been experiencing some sort of infection...it began with a change in stool, then with random red blotchy skin rashes and tiny red itchy dots that would appear on my trunk, legs and forearms..I had severe abdominal pain with bladder pain and testicle pain on the right side...I was tested for stds except herpes which were all negative. I then developed really itchy eyes and eye discharge that is white elasticy and clear and sticky..
Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it sounds like fungal infection(tinea cruris) to me. Wash your groins and genitalia daily and then dry thoroughly by pat drying, not rubbing. A hairdryer is useful if you have hairy groins. The damp skin is an ideal site for fungi to multiply. Also wear cotton underwears and change them twice a day. and do not share other people’s towels.
From your history it seems that you are having candida infection, even though you have tested negative for yeast. It’s good that you are negative for HIV and diabetes because people with low immunity are prone to such infection. In my clinical practice, I would try antifungal treatment, both orally and by local application in cases such as yours. Antifungal medicines may be needed for at least 3 months. You can discuss this approach with your local doctor.
Thank you very much for your reply. I am currently using Dettol Soap for cleaning the area. And I am cleaning it 3-4 times a day. Since I live in Dubai is there any medication which you can suggest or the contents of the medication.
These patches were so light and barely visible that I couldn't notice them in light but when I had to pee in dark, I could barely see them. Anyway I worried for a while but after few days I thought it was no big deal and just forgot about them. But today I noticed three white dry spots (2 round while other irregular) on the shaft of my penis which freaked me out.
The itch happens at random time. Is this a fungus infection? Candida? Or is there something I'm missing out? I presumed it might be fungus infection, so I am currently using diluted white vinegar to treat myself today. However, I would like to hear all of your opinions.
I'm not sure if antibiotics screw you up for LIFE, but in general they're no good.. I've had candida before [which is an overgrowth of yeast in your stomach] and I took Black Walnut Hulls for it. You can find these pills at Whole Foods. You can also buy Acidophillis [the same stuff that's in yogurt] pills and take those on a daily basis to maintain a balance of healthy bacteria in your system. Otherwise, try not to eat a lot of sugar, that makes yeast grow. Hope this was helpful!
Prednizone completely clears up the rash and it takes about 3 days for it to come back after the prenizonde. I have tried taking 4 benedryl at night, and zertec in the morning. That did absolutely nothing! I have also changed lotions, laundry detergent, bed cloths and type. I saw an herbalist who said I had a Candida infection on my skins. I had a Dr prescribe an antifungal and also tried the herbals from the herbalist which did not help.
But for that pls use some antifungal like nystatin, miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral. If the symptoms persist then STD’s have to be ruled out.It can be done by swab cultures and urine culutures. Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep us posted if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
After the tingling sensation and dryness goes, you have to continue applying for at least another 2 weeks for the infection to be completely cured from the lower most layer of the skin. The cause for persistence is that the treatment is often left in between. Wash your hands well and dry them properly both before and after the application. Using a dusting spray/powder with any of these medications also helps keep the area dry and facilitates healing.
I feel like I have a virus all the time. I have been on doxy for 3 weeks for RMSF. I have had no quality of life for over a year. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have Late Stage Lyme Disease which has caused some sort of Auto Immune Disease, (self Diagnosed for lack of any Doc Diagnosing my many many symptoms). Im just very reactionary to A Lot !! This infection started in the Summer of 2002 when I was not as ill as I am now, I would shower and twist my wet hair up wet and go work in the yard, its really humid near Houston, more so in the summer.
She suggested OTC anti-fungal cream for a week. I'm 3 days into twice daily applications of Lamisil (terbinafine hydrochloride) after washing. I've definitely noticed some relief, and I know I have to give it at least a few more days - but it's driving me nutty (pardon the bad pun). The onset of the condition just seems too proximate to the initial encounter. I'm having a hard time accepting the coincidence.
I did, and it came back as candida (fungus). No matter how many prescriptions/supplements I take for the candida, it does not go away. Maybe get tested for Trich also? I'm going to retake all of my std tests, including Trich soon. I also sweat more than I used to. It is pronounced on my hands, feet, and under my arms. I also have bowel problems (my stools are also pale in color and more 'loose' than usual), although no diahrea.

Xylitol has been used for years in toothpaste for it's bacteria fighting properties and can be used as a saline cleanse to reduce bacteria..(see Xylitol on Wikipedia) Shake this solution up and dip your q-tip into it and swap the inside of the infected ear...sorry, it will be cold!.. if the ear is too sensitive or in pain use a small dropper and place a few drops down the canal. Let it sit for a minute or two and then tilt the head back over to drain.
I too used a drug called ThreeLac for treating Candida. There was less problems when I was using it, but the strange symptoms reappeared when i stopped. I cannot afford to buy that drug from US as I have to pay the customs duty everytime here.I am not 100% sure that is worked but it helped upto some certain point. One more thing I observed.
When I was looking up causes/treatments, it was interesting for me to read about someone struggling with candida because I have had a rash on my neck flare up in the past and the only thing that helped was going on a sugar free, low carb and low acidity diet (no vinegar and no artifical sweetners except something natural like stevia). It ***** and the diet is very restictive but the rash did clear up. I am going to go back on it to see if my eyelids start to clear up as well.
Av, its horrible. Mine has been going on for three years. The only benefit is that I do not hear my husband's snoring. I lay down and they immediately clog. I did used to get really nasty smelling crud out of them every morning. I have had times when my jaw is so sore, or my ear, or below my ear. This has been such a pain in "the ear" for me. Richt now the itchiness is truly driving me nuts.
