I have used terbinafine cream for a week and my fungal infection almost went away.but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
I seemed to have had a diet full of yeast back in December (way too much bread and toasts, and my frozen food all seemed to have had yeast in ingredients), so perhaps this attributed to my susceptibility?
I've tried topical antifungals and it seemed to move the line on the balls somewhat further from the main body, and then antifungals with steroids, but the irritation is still there, and I'm not sure what to do.

i dont know if she has thrush if she did i probably would ? she does seem to have yeast infections often or high levels of yeast. she gets sores on her arms and back that she claims is from yeast. i am sure its not crabs! doesnt look like any herpes that ive seen photos of . what other info would help?

Is it a white film that you can rub off? If so it could be yeast? You could try Terbinafine cream or spray. The other ones yeast are sometimes resistant to. Otherwise, I'm not sure what it is. That is the only thing it sounds like. Usually, yeast itches or itches and burns.
And about how it is a yeast and what not. But i have yet to get any real answer to how i can treat this. I can not go to a dermatologist due to i have no health care and i in college and i cant have another bill as is. So i am looking at trying the Selsun blue maximum or the tinactin foot spray. I have read that the contents in those two are good to try. I am looking for more products or more effective products.

By the way a dermatophyte is a type of fungus and as I mentioned causes skin, nail and hair infections like joch itch and athletes foot. One other thought is that if you are using an over the counter medication or even a prescription one yeast are becoming resistant to the ones that end in azole. Such as fluconazole. Usually you can see the chemical name in the ingredients. So you can use terbinafine (Lamisil) if changing out some of the habits above don't work.

If the symptoms persist then STD’s have to be ruled out.
They can use Amphotericin B cream if it is resistant and also I would see if they have a vaginal terbinafine cream (not sure if they have one). But they do have terbinafine pills. Terbinafine works on yeast and dermatophyte fungi (like athletes foot fungus) that are resistant to the types of anti-fungals that end in azole. Hope this helps.

He referred to a Dermatologist. Administred Terbinafine-500mg (10days) and Fexofenadine-120mg (7 days) continued applying Miconazole but had no relief. She further advised me to take Levofloaxacin 750mg for 5 days together with appky Terbinafine Cream. But still no relief. Infection resurface with spreading to more areas.

I've heard you can take monistat for a yeast infection. But I would talk to your doctor first. Treatment for a yeast is different than bacterial, and you should make sure you don't have any other complications before starting something.
