the mistake was use of adefovir which is not a first line hbv drug from many years to to resistance development and high toxicity for kidneys, you should have used tenofovir
any way switch to tenofovir as soon as possible which has much less toxicity, entecavir is not an option since yo used lam

the problem is the opposite tdf has no resistance mutations and drug industry kept tdf hidden until off label use and EU community approved it, we had the wonder drug for hbv since 2000 and all kind of usless, weak nucs have been pushed ahead wasting a lot of money on pushing and research while tdf was there
so i am a little worried about:
lowering tdf doses
different distribution of drug in tissues since tdf has no resistance thanks to tissue distribution
and i d use a new distibution of tdf
The last time I saw my doctor he told me that he never heard of someone getting renal problems with Adefovir and that he needed some time to tell me what the next treatment would be (and that I should stay now with lamivudine and Adefovir for 2 more weeks and see what happens to my phosphorous and creatinine levels _Adefovir just one pill every 48hours and lamivudine one pill every day .According to you only TENOFOVIR is good for me . i was checking if there is anyway to prevent kidneys damage in cases like mine where kidenys cannot stand tenofovir, i don t have plans to add tenofovir for the moment but in any case i'd like to make sure i will be able to use it if ever needed.
