This being said, after much research this is what I was thinking of going, but am nervous as none of these remedies are FDA approved for dogs (i of course will check with his vet but i find that many times hearing other pet owner’s experience is much more beneficial as every dog is different).

We have a 10 week old Cattle Dog puppy who we brought home on November 4, 2011. She was fine but eventually developed Parvo and was loaded with worms. We have had in her for treatment a total of three times and she received transfusions each time. She is drinking water, and peeing. We are getting the wormer in her by forcing peanut butter laced in her... but she won't eat. She has not eaten food on her own since Friday. Now we are worred we will lose her to starvation.

This doesn't sound like Parvo to me. I have a dog who contracted Parvo just before I rescued her about 7 years ago.

One of my boy's got parvo awhile after I adopted him from the pound, so not sure where he got it. He was a Dalmation, dumped at the pound like so many others that year after Disney came out w/ the first live action 101 Dalmation movie over the holiday season when people realized Dalmations aren't the cute little spotted furballs like in the movies......
almost all of my dogs death was accompanied with stool with thick, dark, stinky(like rotten fish) blood.
i went to the veterenary before, and the doctor prescribed me cefalaxin medoxine. it is effective. when my dogs feel ill, dont eat and poos with blood. ill just give it that medicine.
but this time, my dog died. after he poo (with dark stinky thick clothed blood).

Yes, done with the Parvo treatments....Vet said it would shed in her stool for 3 weeks and remain on site for 6 mos. I have used more Clorox in the last 3 weeks than I have used in my life.......Inside & out......I'm tired of smelling it & I'm sure my family is too! Glad that's done....
Really need to rip up the plastic sheeting I have taped on the floor in her room & start over.....It sure was easier to clean than the floor would have been.....
