tamiflu expiry date

I have an unopened bottle of voltaren eye drops with an expiry date of October 2010. I just ran out of the Voltaren I am using and have a new prescription to get some more and don't have the money at this time to fill it. Would it be safe to use this unopened bottle as I have read that most medications are really good for 5 years after expiry and drug companies just put the expiry dates on so people will throw them away.

How long are the carseats good for? Its a graco snugride...I can see the manufature date but not the expiry date .

The expiry date on the bottle says 01-2011.. Is this bad that I used the eye drops three weeks after it was suppose to be discarded? I only used three quaters of the bottle. I paid a little over fifty dollars for this little 5 mL bottle.... But what can you do....

I have unused Gonal-F from my first IVF cycle and I plan to use for this cycle and I will be starting with Gonal-F next week. The sticker on the box put by the pharmacy says discard after August 30th 2008, but the manufacturers expiry date says Dec'2008. I talked to my doctor about this and she said I should go by the manufacturer date. I was still wondering if the meds is good and alright to use.

Hello, it depends how it is stored; unopened and in a cool and dry place. There is usually an expiry date on the vial. Other than that it should be used within a certain time after opening - probably 1 month.

t broke but i am not sure if it had any small hole or something in it. it is important to say that it was latex condom and was not expired. its expiration date is 2014 i checked it. but i had the following symptoms: mild fever for 2 days weight loss about 2 kg dry mouth and white tongue bad headache neck stiffness rash on my chest i had these symptoms for 10 days and i am o.k now. i took a rapid test after 25 days and it was negative. doctor said to me that there is not need for another test.

i used expired condom . the expiry date is 02/2010 , it used it with 12/03/2010 if it didn't break , i will be safe from HIV infection ???

Hi I'm a female living in the UK and me and my boyfriend have just started having sex. We always use condoms but I'm really worried because once we used a condom that was near it's expiry date. It was not very weak and we didn't use it for long and after I checked whether it had broken and it hadn't. BUT I'm still worried bcos it was near it's expiry date. He did not ejaculate at all while using the condom but there still might have been traces of precum.

Its hard to say for sure what the effects on the medication the expiry date has but i know with tylenol for example its not gonna be contaminated but it may not have the correct strength left in it... not saying if its expired you take more its jsut that it may not be as effective or it may be fine(you just dont know)...

I have only noticed that Ribavirin capsules that pharmacy gave me for 3 months have expiry of October 2014. If I start taking drugs on 15 August, it means 3 packs of Ribavirin will become expired during my treatment, as I will take them till November 15. Should I request pharmacy to change portion of packs?

30 weeks pregnant, has anyone ever took tamiflu while pregnant? Any side affects to you or your child after birth?

I am 5 weeks pregnant with my 3RD baby. I came down with a cold on Thursday. My cough is horrible and I have been running fevers a lot. I called my OB and she called in a RX for tamiflu. I've never been on it before but she assured me that it was safe. She said my cough may turn into pneumonia or bronchitis and that may be worse then taking the meds. I never went thru this with my boys so I'm a little unsure. I did research and it seems safe. What are others opinion on this.

My four-year-old grandson, who has leukemia, was just diagnosed with the flu despite having the shot this year. I also had the shot prior to my diagnosis. Obviously it doesn't cover strain B, which is what he has. My husband and I kept him until this morning so we have been exposed big time. Does anyone know about Tamiflu and whether or not it should be taken with HCV. My guess is it's okay, but my hepa will not respond to any of my questions, so I'm asking here.
