tamiflu and motrin taken together

I ended up in urgent care where they told me i got the deadly kind of flu. He prescribed me Tamiflu and was wondering if anyone else has taken it. Did you experience any side effects to you or baby. I am worried about my baby.

I have been diagnosed with the flu type b on Monday. My fevere goes up and down but really doesn't stay down permanently. I am taking tamiflu, theraflu, Motrin as prescribed by the doctors. My throat feels ripped open and today I noticed that there is some blood in the phlegm that I cough up. Is this a sign of pneumonia?

My four-year-old grandson, who has leukemia, was just diagnosed with the flu despite having the shot this year. I also had the shot prior to my diagnosis. Obviously it doesn't cover strain B, which is what he has. My husband and I kept him until this morning so we have been exposed big time. Does anyone know about Tamiflu and whether or not it should be taken with HCV. My guess is it's okay, but my hepa will not respond to any of my questions, so I'm asking here.

can i give her any other meds with Motrin to help with the cough and sore throat. i know she can have musinex but she hates it hahaha.

Yes I took tamiflu when I was pregnant with my son it's on the lowest scale for harming you or the baby. In other words its safe.

I then woke up one morning with a severe sore throat. After 2 days of the severe sore throat, I went to my PCP. I had a low grade fever while there, & my HR was a little elevated. The nurse said it was probably due to the fever. My PCP swabbed my throat and said no strep throat.

You may actually experience fewer or less severe symptoms for having gotten the vaccination. As far as Tamiflu, yes, it is safe during pregnancy. I have taken it myself. Hope you feel better soon.

My throat and mouth are on fire because of all the mouth breathing and the aches pains and chills are enough to send me up the wall! I have never had the flu before but I wouldn't wish this on Hitler! I have been taking tamiflu as prescribed but it is working VEEERRYYY slowly. Last week I was prescribed Armour thyroid to be taken 3 times per day, with the first dose to be taken in the morning together with a low dose of synthroid. Has anyone heard of this? I spoke to two pharmacists and they both report they have never seen it prescribed that way. Please help!!!

I actually just got over the swine flu 2 weeks ago and was on the Tamiflu. The baby and I are just fine and I was not hospitalized. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

i was about 7 weeks pregnant and went to the ER,they said they werent sure if i had the swine flu or flu but not sure so they treated me for the swine flu anyways because i was pregnant,they gave me tamiflu....i wanted to know if there was any risks to the baby from having the flu or from the tamiflu?

Tamiflu is completely safe for pregnant mama's. I'm a pharmacy assistant, a dispensary assistant and used to be a medical receptionist and a practice manager. So I'm partially aware of what's safe and whats not (obviously not as advanced as doctors and pharmacists) but it is most definitely safe to take. It's generally used for Influenza though not just a common cold.

Doctor thinks it's drug Eruption. Had the flu over a month ago and took tamiflu, this is the only new medicine he has taken recently. This is day 11. No other symptoms than extreme itching. Feet are swollen and some bumps are turning into blisters and popping. Leaving large open wounds. I've attached some photos for other opinions.

When I woke up it was a little better but still there. The previous day I had taken Motrin 800mg. As I stated before, I have been tracking my episodes with my Motrin consumption. Is there any relationship between arrhythmias and Motrin or should I investigate other causes to my problem?

Leslee had the flu shot this year, but her daughter that lives with them and is going to college developed Influenza A, last Tuedsay, Wenesday went to ER, dx with the flu, started on Tamiflu 75mg twice daily for 5 days, this put Leslee at great risk because of her immune system, after doing some research I found that the Tamiflu also is used to prevent flu, so I called Les and she went to her clinic today and they have now ordered the Tamiflu for her 75mg daily for 10 days.

If taken in the last three months of pregnancy it can cause birth defects, and can increase the odds of miscarriage. Motrin is ibuprofen which is never meant to be taken during pregnancy. If you need anything for pain, use Tylenol. There may be no damage done, but do not use it anymore.

if someone would have guided me in the 1st place i would have seen a therpaist or psychologist!! everyone said you need to see a pdoc..well its taken me 3 yrs to find one that takes the medicare card..and they hate the paperwork..its like they discrimanate agaisnt me cuz of something that i cant control the states policy..so this whole time my gpdoc took good care of me.. to keep me above water i cant see a pdoc saying this is what you are or not right off the bat!!

told us that he was not eleigible to recieve a prescription for Tamiflu. Where can I find any federal or state restictions for eleigibility.
