taking percocet and zoloft

I'm on zoloft and I sometimes take my moms vicodin/percocet for pain and I'm just wondering is it safe to take these combinations together? Basically: Zoloft+Vicodin= safe? Zoloft+Percocet= safe? Will the Vicodin or Percocet decrease the effects of the Zoloft? OR can it cause permanent brain damage? I took 2 Vicodin's a couple days ago and then took 1 Zoloft pill an hour later and I started to feel weird/loopy. Could I have caused permanent brain damage?

Before I got pregnant I was on 100mg of Zoloft, 4mg of xanax and occasionally Percocet (for anxiety). Once I found out I was expecting (5weeks) I immediately stopped the xanax and Percocet. I still am currently still on the Zoloft but down to 25mg. I wanted to get off by the time I was in my 3rd trimester. Any of you ladies currently taking anything? Did you stop? Plan on stopping? It continuing though your whole pregnancy. I've read the pros and cons but I'm still unsure on what to do.

I am currently taking 60mg of percocet for approx. 4 months. I was clean for 3 months and now i am up to 60mg on the perc's. I was wondering, my doctor prescribed me 50mg a day zoloft for other reasons. Will the zoloft help the withdrawals? i was wondering?

Before, my regular routine was taking the zoloft first and my anxiety took over and always made me so nervous in the mornings I would have to take the clonazepam shortly after the zoloft. Is there something stronger than zoloft that may help my severe anxiety better? Thank you so much.

Its the drug in vicodin and norco. The drug in percocet is called OXYcodone. I was taking it light weight with my first and he was fine. I'm taking it more now than I was then because I'm havijg my third baby in 4 years and the pain is miserable. It won't hurt your baby developmentally at all. The biggest risk is if the baby comes out and is no longer getting the drugs through your blood stream he/she will have to go through with drawals.

I'm worried I just found out Im pregnant and I've taking percocet for a while and I take a stonge does 10/650 two times a day. I have a very bad back and neck and was suppose to go in for facet blocks again to help with the pain. But since I'm pergnant now I can't due to it's under xray. I have never taken St Johns Wart but I am curious, does the Zoloft just not work any longer for you? I would not encourage stopping anything you have taken for so long without a doctors supervision. It could be deadly. Good luck!

I posted on here, probably a month ago, about the issues I've been having with anxiety. You advised me to seek professional counseling and I'm proud to say that I did so. Finally talked to my doctor about the anxiety and he wrote me a prescription for Zoloft, 25mg once a day, which I've taken for 13 days. He also referred me to a licensed professional counselor who said it sounds like I have generalized anxiety disorder.

Morphine 15mg, Oxycodone 10/325mg, Xanax .25 mg, and Zoloft 100mg. I have been taking the Morphine and Oxy 3xs/day, 8am, 2pm and 8pm. I take my Zoloft at 8am and my Xanax at 8pm. I also take a stool softener for constipation and have to take Tylenol now and then when I get the Morphine headache. Now that I have read several questions and answers, I will no longer take the Morphine and Oxy together, I didn't realize that they are the same thing basically.

I have since been told my my surgeon that the constant pressure I feel is permanent nerve damage from the multiple surgeries and bone pain. ve read about brain shivers upon withdrawal from zoloft but currently experience brain shivers whilst taking zoloft. I take the zoloft in the morning and by about 3pm or 4pm begin getting the electric shocks in my brain. I used to get this only if i missed a dose but they are quite regular now and i am consistent with taking my meds. Do you know why this would happen? My doctors do not recognise these brain shivers.

I'm on zoloft and studies show that certain doses are safe for u and baby. It's better to take the meds than to be sick.

I cut my dose to 50 mg today of the zoloft and will take that amount for the next 2 - 3 weeks, and then cut it down to 25 mg for the same time frame. Then I may try to stop all together after that. We'll see. Thanks for the response!

Try taking the Seroquel for just a few nights. You can do better if you just get your rest caught up.

So i go on Zoloft and by the 3rd day I felt anxious, like I was on speed. I called my doc and she said to stio taking it. A month later I see her again and she claimed that it was impossible that I was feeling what I felt the first time (anxiety, jitteriness, tic increase, hard to think) becuase I had only been taking it for three days. She bascially siad it was all in my head.

I think thats why my doctor try the zoloft again because i am thinking i am itching and i am not really having reaction to the medicine but he said you do have sentitvie to medicine that why he had a backup medcine for me. my question is anybody taking Zoloft 25mm or Citalopram 20mm before and any side effects from these medicine? also any tips on controling my anxiety and depression ?

You have to take the control back...stop reading, stop searching about SSRIs and Zoloft and brain damage. The one Zoloft pill did NOT cause any damage. In my humble opinion, you are dealing with severe anxiety, and you need to formulate a treatment plan. As of right now, I doubt you could tolerate another med, as you are still connecting everything to the Zoloft. Therefore, you will likely have another anxiety-induced reaction to another med.

43mg of subs a day. My question is, should I keep taking the subs? The percocet was prescribed, I really am in pain.
