I have been taking 15 mg oxycodone for about a year now I take up to 8 a day, I want to stop taking these because I can see they have made me addicted to them. I cannot go to rehab and I don't want to use anymore pills I need to know what I can do to.

t fill it early, plus if with some if you ask for it to be refilled early they might think your taking more then your allowed too. So I am not sure if it would be a good idea to call or not. Maybe someone else can give you a better answer.

I take Methadone and Norco for chronic pain. I have gone through withdrawl for both and getting off of the Methadone is way harder than getting off of Norco. The Meth makes me drowsy also and I've been taking it this time for about 8 months. I hope things level out for you. Talk to your doctor about cutting back on the dose or taking something in addition to help you stay awake. Just don't cut the Meth pills in half or anything like that - could be dangerous. I am currently trying to quit taking pills iam good for usually a couple 10/Mgs a day and a couple 20 mg OP I used to use a lot of cocaine and quit no problem but I have a lot of trouble sleeping and my body hurts very bad while iam not high, I was thinking of smoking a little pot to help me sleep , any help appreciated.

Howdy! Depends on how much and how long you were taking them.....plus other variants like age, health, TYPE OF WORK YOU DO....that ones pretty important. Kicked oxys a few times..Back again...."if at first" and all.

Wondering if anyone knows of anything that could cause a false positive for oxycodone or have experienced a lab mix up?

Its the drug in vicodin and norco. The drug in percocet is called OXYcodone. I was taking it light weight with my first and he was fine. I'm taking it more now than I was then because I'm havijg my third baby in 4 years and the pain is miserable. It won't hurt your baby developmentally at all. The biggest risk is if the baby comes out and is no longer getting the drugs through your blood stream he/she will have to go through with drawals.

I've been on oxycodone for years for injured and deteriorating lumbar, thoracic and cervical discs. Currently I take 30 mg oxycodone 4 times daily (sometimes more depending on the day). This works very well for my pain and restores (mostly) my ability to perform daily activities. My problem as of late is sleep. My sleep is interrupted due to pain - it affects my being able to fall asleep sometimes and without doubt gets me out of bed BEFORE I am fully rested.

I have been taking oxycodone for back pain. At first it was wonderful and I wasnt in pain and i only took like two 5mg tabs a day. Then my back got really messed up and for the next 5 days i took like 8 pills a day. Ever since then when i dont take them i have withdrawals. i am at the point now where i only take them like 2 times a day because i know i am hooked and i know its a problem. Today i decided i wasnt taking them anymore. I began to feel awful. I hadnt taken any all day.

Than 45 minutes later I took my oxycodone 5mg tablets. I had forgot I took my Tylenol with Codiene prior to taking my oxycodone. Will taking both of them harm my baby?? I'm in nervous wreck. Please momma's out there with similar problems help me and tell me that it won't harm my babygirl. Anyone that knows let me know. Thank you all so much in advance!!!

It was in the morning and it was my birthday and i fugured what a fun present but my period wasent due for another 6 days , so i took first response digital that i had and i was 100% sure it was negative until i saw YES + ..... I started crying lol i was so nervous !! Cuz we didnt plan it ..

I have been taking oxycodone and hydrocodone for seven months now daily. I have two oxycodone left and I am done. Ive tried to taper it doesn't work so I am just going cold turkey. I have extreme anxiety and I am scared to death something is going to happen to me or I am going to die. I don't work but I do stay at home with my children in just so scared I wont be able to make it. I really am giving myself no choice. I have cut off my resources and I am done I am just so scared.

ve stopped taking T3s on two occasions in the past without problem at all so. Anyone tried this approach - did it work for you??? Or am I in for full blown W/Ds tomorrow or soon? Thanks for listening and advising!

I have been take 30mg immediate release oxycodone for about 3 months,recreationally, first a quarter pill then half and finally peaking at 45-60mg a day for about a week. for the past 2 days i have just have 30mg a day split into morning and night. I have 8 pills left and i have to be done with this, its was all fun in the beginning, but I have to get off this road because I know where it ends. I had dts this morning just from the 2 days at 30 mg.

I really want to stop completely and have recently been attending NA. I have substantially reduced for this binge to about 15-25 a day/ at a time. For the purposes of this question lets assume I've been dosing this way for 2 weeks consecutively. How long will it take me to pass the drug test? They are synthetic. The cutoff level for opiods is 2000 ng/ml, the cutoff for opiads like oxycodone is 100 ng/ml. Either a more sensitive test needs to be used or a test specific to opiads must be used to avoid a false negative. I have been on the medication oxycodone for about 5 years 10 mg and I am currently on day 6 without taking any of the oxycodone but my question is if I'm taking 3 or 4 mg of Suboxone everyday on my 14th day, can I stop the suboxone all together and will I feel okay? Is 2 weeks of low doses 2-3 times a day of subs, long enough to get rid of withdrawal? Should I continue for one more week with subs? I don't want to be dependent on subs though. I want to take ZERO pain meds.

s just in my head but I feel like the gabapentin can help lowering my oxycodone dosage. I was taking 5 15mg oxycodone a day I was down to 2 1/2 a day but after this last back surgery I'm back up to 4 a day. The hair twirling is driving my family crazy, my son said he wouldn't scratch his poison ivy if I didn't twirl my hair lol.

Have you tried ibuprofen? Sometimes I get headaches from the oxycodone and I find 800 mg. ibuprofen helps. For all my pains, it helps a little. I think it helps the oxy work better for me.

Is the pill. Oxaydo 5mg tabs, just like taking a percocet 5/325 ? They are suppose to be a deterrant. So do they act just as the actual percocet pill?

Hi. Well last year I was tested and the test was done in front of me. I was on Tramadol at the time and I passed the test. I asked what exactly they were testing for and they said "Opiates" "Speed" & Pot. Tramadol is a man made Opiate and when I was test it didn't show up as an Opiate. Good luck to ya and when you take the test just tell them you take them and your doctor gives them to you, like I did.

I take liquid oxycodone through my feeding tube for pain management of neuropathic and GI pain. I also have rescue meds for migraines but I've gone off my preventative meds, Topamax and Gabapentin, as my husband and I were trying to conceive. I really would like to stay off the neuroleptics for a bit longer, but I'm concerned that I'm becoming overly tolerant of the oxycodone.

s some advice. You should be taking the OxyContin for persistent pain and the Percocet for breakthrough pain. Since OxyContin is a 12 hour extended-release formulation of oxycodone it can probably be reduced to just twice daily initially since there's only 24 hours in one day. Of course Percocet is an immediate release formulation of oxycodone and thus has a shorter half-life than the OxyContin. Detoxification from oxycodone depends on your level of pain and your desire to stop taking it.
