Avatar f tn It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.
Avatar n tn It took a couple nights to fall asleep naturally after taking the lunesta but I finally did and slept all nite. I am actually awake now by 8. I mean wide awake. I dont know what to do with myself with so much time awake during the day.
Avatar f tn she has been very good to me durring this pregnancy but i am sooooooooo tired! i wrk nights and am,having a hirrible time staying awake the whole 8 hr shift.... any suggestions to help me have a little more energy??
Avatar f tn I'm awake, sadly. I slept only an hour and a half and my body is telling me it's time to get up :( Lot lost , what kind of NyQuil worked for you?
Avatar m tn ve been having allot of trouble with staying awake, its the kinda of tiredness you get where you struggle to keep your eyes open (literally). My question would be, is there anything I can do to sort this out? People are starting to take the **** quite frankly... Are there any tablets, sweets, or even a change of diet?
Avatar n tn 30 and another 5mg at 3:00 or whenever I awake. The Lunesta usually allows for 6-7 hours of continuous sleep. The initial sedating effects of the Remeron lasted anly about 2 weeks but in combination with either one of the hypnotics, it seems to be helping, now 9 months later So, the questions I have are: Do any others take Remeron with one of the above mentioned hypnotics? Can this medication combo be continued on a long term basis?
Avatar f tn Celexa (depression), Ultram (pain) Vicodin (bad pain), Lunesta (to stay asleep), and now Provigil (to stay awake in the day). I have say, these all are helping, but maybe about 50%. The pain never goes away, only flucuates to bad or worse. The Lunesta is great. I tried Ambien & Sonata, but couldn't handle the side effects. Lunesta keeps me asleep but doesn't make me feel hung-over in the morning.
736314 tn?1276884623 I am taking lunesta and guess what. I am wide awake. It usually works for me but not tonight i guess.
327369 tn?1326119908 Please post your thyroid test results and reference ranges. What thyroid meds are you taking and what is daily dose?
Avatar n tn Has anyone else tried Lunesta for sleep anxiety. I have tried not sleeping with any med but end up staying up all night panicing even though i am super tired. Please help me get back to sleep so i can focus more on my life.
Avatar f tn I tried endep for a week and couldnt wake up so I actually take Valium, only when I am about to have a relapse and it helps ive been taking it for 15 yrs or so and not dependant at all. I find when you are in a flare stage nothing helps. STAY away from Stillnox, here in Aus there was a young girl who took it walked out the front door and jumped off a bridge. it has a history of BAD BAD side effects. I try valerian but it makes me depressed so valium it is for me through my flares!
Avatar n tn Ambien will help you get some sleep so yes I would say it is good. I worked for a Dr. before and the highest dose I saw given was a total of 12mg. So if the tab was 6mg then the patient could take 2. Taking 2 10mg of ambien seems a little high to me.Maybe someone else could answer better than me. I am one of those people that ambien doesn't work. I have tried Ambien cr, Lunesta (sp?) and regular Ambien and still couldn't get any sleep.
462361 tn?1207858977 Sleeping has been not to good, few hours here and there, some nightmares and waking up twitching / RLS. I was wondering if taking lunesta would help out. Ive been perscribed it for almost a year now cause ive always had problems sleeping mainly insomnia but would lunesta push any button for my past addiction? As in the percocets?? Just wondering.. seems like RLS and twitching is EVERYONES problem here =/ buhh when will it stopppppp!!!!!!
Avatar m tn I am in remission for the cancer now, but still am having a ton of trouble falling asleep AND staying asleep. If I do manage to fall asleep (which takes >2 hours) I seem to wake up at least 3-4 times a night. I am seeing a psychologist and we have tried CBT. Drugs doctor's have tried include: -Ambien: Put me to sleep caused me to do some regrettable things and also hallucinate. -Trazodone: Hallucinations, Did not put me to sleep.
Avatar f tn ve taken 1 valium, and a 1/2 of an ambian PLUS I ate 2 full meals today. What the h**l am I doing wide awake? Zanex are addictive where as valium aren't - right? I don't know...
Avatar f tn Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.
Avatar n tn I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I need something to help me sleep without causing nausea and to help me sleep like a baby throughout the night pleaseee.
Avatar n tn But there came a point where I was taken off of Lunesta because I have other health issues and i was tired all of the time and sleep wasnt a problem. Now it has become a problem again and the specialist treating my other health issues put me on Ambien. I try other things before taking the Ambien. I dont get sleepy with over the counter meds. So that I dont get so worried about addiction, I take my Xanax instead of the Ambien periodically. But NEVER EVER take them together.
519035 tn?1348275773 I was recently started on Lunesta 3mg and it works well. I have had some nights where i am wide awake and bushy tailed about 4 in the morning, but I took the Lunesta about 8pm. I'm thinking it was a little too early. I have found if I take it a little later about 930. I sleep through the night. And feel very refreshed in the morning.
Avatar f tn doc said lunesta interacts with thyroid meds, I just stopped it and went back on valerian...until i found some old Klonopin. It doe help but makes me sleepier than valerian, plus I don't like the side-effects I've read about...especially its possible effect on the mammary glands, etc. I don't know. Maybe I'll alternate between the valerian and the Klonopin, and only on as as needed basis. I am trying to keep my prozac at 40 ml, as more than that does keep me awake at night.
Avatar f tn ) If this is just another of the same in the meek and mild category for insomniacs as Ambien and Lunesta are, it will act like a placebo for me, and therefore please do not recommend it. Thus, the more I hear, the more I know, and the more I know, the less money I will be throwing away regarding having Rozerum filled for naught, in addition to anteing up big bucks to pay for it. Self-pay patients, a monthly (#30) day supply costs $135.00. Three years ago, Ambien cost $3.00 per pill.
Avatar f tn When I kept forgetting to take the second dose, he suggested the 30mg X-RAY And it seemed to work extremely well, I was not sleeping at all, had lots of stress and went through a number of different antidepressants, they all pretty much made feel hung over and generally like crap all day. He suggested Lunesta and it seemed to work enough to get atleast 6hrs of sleep and felt well rested the next day.
Avatar m tn this is just my experience, and I'm not on tx yet...I can't take Lunesta and ambien, ambien makes me feel nutzo the next morning, but many people are fine with it...I take ativan if I have had a lot of sleepless nights in a row, and at a very low dose...I find tranquilizers lull me into sleep, which I prefer...best of luck...
Avatar n tn I never tried remeron, but ambien was horrible and so was resterol the taste of the lunesta that it leaves in your mouth is horrible so there is no easy answer but I did find the ativan did help for a while and I still take it with the lunesta and I agree if I get a good nights sleep the next day is much better.
