Hi, I only had thin endometrium with clomid, even while taking estrogen supplement. Thin endometrium is a known side effect of clomid. I then took femara. I had no problems with this one and am now 9 weeks pregnant. Hope this helps.

My folicles (though i have a lot) were too small, like 7cm and my bloodwork came back with low estrogen levels. She wants to see me in 2 weeks. But I have so many questions? I ended up get preg just by taking the metformin...If u dont want to take the clomid I would stay on the metformin and test next month for ouvlation... I have oulated without the clomid...

also whenever i looked it up anything on provera there was always someone taking clomid afterward. is it very common to not ovulate on your own after Provera? How many of you have started ovulating on your own after Provera. i am TTC and sick of waiting for AF and ovulation.

Clomid can also make you have higher estrogen levels, so maybe that is what your doc is thinking as far as clomid thickening your lining. If lining is thinned due to clomid side effect, then estrogen supplement won't help (that was the case with me). Although my lining was very thin on 1st cycle of clomid, my RE had me continue 3 more tries with clomid, saying that lining responds differently every time, and they wanted to establish pattern of thin lining.

I am on my 2nd cycle with clomid. There are some side effects of taking the clomid like hot flashes ect. but I haven't really had them. Clomid is to make you ovulate. and depending on what dosage you take whether you increase your chances of twins or triplets I think. I know a few girls that took it and only got pregnant with 1 baby. I do chart my BBT with it and use OPK's to give me a better idea of when I am going to O. Cost of clomid...

m a little confused after reading quite a few post by others who have also used clomid that many seem to be taking clomid at the start of their menstral cycle. Is there a reason why my doctor would have me start before my menstral cycle begins?

I honestly would have to disagree with Chicky30. I was on 7 IUI cycles with clomid. It thinned my lining to the point where I only had my period for one day. My lining was only measuring at 4..it needs to be at least 9 for an egg to implant. This cycle we did straight follistim and no clomid and I'm finally pregnant. This time with the follistim it was a 10.5.

No I have not heard of taking estrogen to help with CM, but I will ask at my next appt. I am taking 2600mg of EPO and dr is fine with that.

Since im taking the estrogen I dont think i will have a problem with CM. Plz keep me in your prayers..Ill be so dissapointed if this doesnt work...but I can only wait on the Lord.

Today was my appt and my lining was 4, still way too thin. RE said based on my follicles he did not think that lack of estrogen was a problem, but that the lining just wasn't responding to the estrogen (side effect of the clomid, he said). Too late to do anything about it for this cycle anyhow, I guess. He did a blood test to check my estrogen. Based on the results of the blood test he will decide if we should try clomid + estrogen next month or something different.

hello ladies, i just had my day 3 labs done ,and come to find out that my estrogen levels are extremly low, lt was 16. my obgyn told me not to worry about this and we would try clomid. ( which i know i dont have problems ovulating. i have been reading and i believe that estrogen plays a very important role in conceiving! am i wrong? do levels get higher throughout your cycle? has anyone had troubles conceiving with low levels? . can someone take estrogen supplements?
