I was away for a couple of days and left my synthroid at home. I got home at 2 am in the morning and took a synthroid and again at 8:30 am. Did I over do it? I'm asking so I know for the future.

after a blood test my doctor upped my dosages from 88mcg of Synthroid to 175 mcg Levithyroxine. The pharmacy questioned the large increase and called him to verify the dosgage he confirmed. He also raised my other thyroid medication from 30mcg of Armour Thyroid to 20 mcg of Liothyroxine because they are not producing Armour Thyroid any longer. I have been on this new dosage for a month and a half. I have been noticing my heart racing, skipping a beat, hot, sweaty, gittery.

The golden rule is unless recommended by a doctor, do not take supplements, get the necessary nutrients directly from food only. Supplementation can very often overdose your body with vitamins and minerals, which can adversely affect. In your case, stop if possible, the supplements for few days and see if the symptoms go away, if so, do not take them, orelse, talk to your doctor about the symptoms.

Hes said things to my son about putting his willy in his bum "lets be gay" how dos he know all these things??

Usually we do not change from Synthroid to Cytomel alone. Typically if we are using Cytomel, it is in conjunction with Synthroid, for example if you're on 137 of Synthroid a dose change could have been Synthroid 100 along with Cytomel 5 twice daily.
She was found to be hypothyroid on the newborn screening, Thyroid scan for her showed normal thyroid. She was put on synthroid. She only takes 72.5 mcg and is now 13 years old. I have 4 other children. Twins that were found with high TSH, but retested and it was fine. My last 2 children also were high TSH and did not go normal and were placed on Synthroid. At age 3 my first child was taken off meds and her Levels went up so they put her back on it.

old, she was on a medication (synthroid) for almost 3yrs now the result of her blood test were all normal until just recently when we have our annual ultrasound the result came out that she has a hypoechoic solid nodule on the right, last year it was not seen on the ultrasound, how come that despite her continuous medication still a nodule occur?
Now her doctor has suggested that we put her on 25 mcg of synthroid to see if that helps even though he feels it is not hewr thyroid. all I know is when she started gaining the weight her attitude changed, had trouble reciteing her abc's, conting etc. er kindergarten teacher says that she is very imature ie: crying at school, won't do her work, procrastinating, etc. HELP!
