I'm 7 weeks pregnant & this is my first time getting pregnant. My morning sickness (which lasts all day) started about a week ago or so. I can't seem to keep any food or drink in me. I end up throwing it up within 5-10 minutes of consuming it. All morning I've been just throwing up water and the stomach acid because I've already puked everything that's in my stomach out.
So I'll be 38 wks tomorrow. I luckily somehow made it up to this point in my pregnancy without morning sickness or anything. Today I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. I started to vomit around 3 pm and it was full of blood. I can taste blood in my mouth. The stomach ache hasn't subsided but hasn't gotten worse either. Is this ob related or more medical? Should I go to the hospital? Has anyone else experienced this?
Don't waste time, go to your doc now! Or look up your neighborhood for the nearest free clinic and set up an appointment asap! (posting about this on the forum was like me posting about shingles on above my hip) No one could guess that because my age. (shocker it can occur in young adults too), and nobdy could make it go away either. I had to wait for 4+ hours at a free clinic but it was worth getting the right meds.

If they are dark, almost black, then you are probably bleeding from your stomach and you should get it checked. Get it checked wither way though, if you are vomiting blood.
It is a common misconception that ulcers are mainly caused by stress or alcohol. This can happen, but there is a bug that causes the symptoms called helocobactor (not sure of the spelling) that can go undetected but cause ulcers and related symptoms when untreated.
It is very painful because the vomit is usually dry and I have to cough it out unless it is bile. My stomach will feel like it is on fire occasionally also. Sometimes there is bright red steaks but I am not sure if it is blood or not. It has gotten increasingly worse and I can't take off work from it anymore. Given that you have an anxiety disorder that does drastically increase your risk for cyclical vomiting syndrome. It is also suspect since your vomiting occurs around the same time. Try to stay well hydrated and work to keep your stress levels down.
When you do visit your doctor please make sure to share your history of anxiety, food allergies, and any other symptoms.
My son age 21 has had problems with nausea and vomiting, GERD, a large hiatal hernia and IBS since he was a baby all of which exacerbated his Asthma. He also had a congenital heart defect, which was corrected when he was 12. He had stomach surgery when he was 13. The Dr. removed his gallbladder, had a NISSAN and a feeding tube. He was in the hospital for 2 months after his surgery while the Drs were trying to find out why he was vomiting so much.
If you're vomiting up blood on any occasion, run not walk to your doctor or nearest health clinic. This may be an emergency! (or at least a sign of cancer)
