I was wondering if anyone had ever experienced anything like this.

But not all concussions result in a seizure. There can be varying degrees of damage depending on the severity off the blow, where the impact takes place, and from resultant swelling, and if there is a delay in seeking medical attention. I diagnosed concussion because I had pretty much all the symptoms of one. And I didn't go to the hospital for two reasons 1) I didn't feel like trusting my driving skills after that 2) I did a typical test for "serious" head trama (watching what your eyes do, how long you can focus on things ext) so I knew it wasn't "serious" so I didn't think to go. The next day it wasnt bothering me too bad so I didnt go to the doctor to see if i did have a concussion. Well ever since that weekend, i have pressure headaches on the right side of my head. It hurts on the right side of my neck too and around my ear area, but this is on the right side not the left where i got hit. A doctor generally looks for focal neurological or generalized neurological symptoms that would show there is a pressure on brain somewhere. In absence of these symptoms and based on the history a diagnosis of concussion is given. If concussion is severe, and there is underlying brain injury, then yes, even death can occur. I had an MRI & there was no swelling. I was cleared to begin workouts & started my freshman year of college. I am in the AFROTC so I work out hard every day, take vitamins & drink a gallon of water daily. It has been about 5 months since my injury & I am getting headaches every day at the same time. If he is seizing non-stop in spite of medication, then euthanasia would be a blessing. There is obviously a lot of brain swelling or even bleeding going on causing the seizures. Did you vet tell you: 1. how often the seizures are occurring; 2. what medications are on board and the dosages; 3. results of xrays or any other imaging studies; and 4. the feasability of sending him to an intensive care referral hospital?

Is it possible that they have this, we have another adult female that has had diarrhea but no other symptoms and last year we had a litter of kittens a few of them died within a couple of weeks of birth but then some of them seemed to develop symptoms but grew out of it. re now several years after the fact and the same area that was tender immediately following the concussion is STILL tender to the touch, with various other symptoms present. Since January this year, I have experienced star bursting in both of my eyes, both eyes starburst differently, haloes when looking at bright lights or even dim light and ghosting at pretty much any time of day. I am unsure what to do as I feel the symptoms MAY be progressing. It is quite annoying at night as the contrast between light and dark seem to exadurate the star bursting, haloes and ghosting I am experiencing.
