symbicort

I'm new to this site and i don't know how this is done yet, so I'll just post my question and see what happens! I have a persistent sore throat that is getting on my nerves! History: About a week ago I woke up with an irritating throat ache that gradually reached a climax of near severe pain that went up to my ears, and mild fever (38.4ºC = 101.12ºF).
He described me avamys nasal spray and sinomarine .now after 6 weak I'm better .mucinex helped too . I also had sore throat 3or4times a weak but I think this was because of a dental problem . It has improved after I treated my tooth . The continuous mucous May also be due to G.I.T reflux so you may see a doctor but don't give up .
It began in 1976 and re occurs every 5 to 6 years. I get a sore throat (not tonsils but when you swallow) I now go straight on antibiotics and use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out.
, seasonal environmental allergies. I believe sore throat and cough are symptoms of uncontrolled GERD, which I have also. Good luck.
I am using Spireva inhaler once per day, Symbicort twice a day and Ventolin as needed. I attended a Lung Clinic where we were taught pursed lip breathing, diphramatic breathing, exercising and basically how to deal with this condition. There were about 6 others that had been diagnosed years before and they hadn't had any change to their voice over the years while using these meds. My question is regarding the loss of my voice.
Omgosh I'm so glad to find something on itchy lungs, i just got this virus bug and i'm not sure what it is, my throat is no lnger sore but i still have congestion and a lil in my lungs and when i cough they itch...
Into the second week my voice began getting hoarse. 5 weeks later, I still sound like a squeaky frog, but my throat isn't sore. The Dr. said this is a termporary side effect and that I should continue with the medicine. Can you tell me how long temporary should be? I was switched from Advair to Symbicort for this same reason.
I know that I had a sore throat and cough, the latter gradually increasing in intensity and dryness). Now, supposedly recovering from whatever it was I got, I started having this peppery sensation in my lungs and more dry cough that wakes me up at night. Of course, my GP suggested that I take antihestamines for a while. Hayfever got to me after all. However, I really can't stand jumping out of bed EVERY NIGHT for the last 3 days, coughing and gasping for air.
Since March, I have been getting sick with cold/flu symptoms (fever, aches, congestion, cough, stuffy nose, sore throat, nausea) almost every month. I had a chest x-ray, and it showed nothing. I took antibiotics,, but they did not help. I am seeing an allergist in a few weeks. I started taking Zyrtec a few weeks ago. I take multivitamins daily, and flax oil supplements. I have tried green tea, grape seed extract, zinc and echinacea. I do mild exercise regularly and eat fairly well.
I had the same thing with the Yaz. I was on Yasmin and switched to Yaz and promptly gained about 5 or more pounds. No problems at all with Yasmin, and I was on it for 5 or more years. I still work out like I did on Yasmin, and I've never eaten a lot, although, the Yaz does make me hungry all the time, and I can't seem to get rid of this bloating. I spot constantly and cramp. I have another friend that is the same way.
Thank you for the info! Just started with the Flovent myself and had a wicked sore throat. Dr. insists side effects will go away tho and not to stop, so I am trying to give it a go! Ive only been on it 3 days and I am not loving it, But I did notice after I brushed this morning any white stuff was gone. (I allways brush my tounge!
I am working with doctor, have had a pulmonary function test, and she has told me I have asthma, as well as GERD, and that the asthma may well be related to allergies. I am now taking Symbicort, Flonase, Singulair, and Albuterol as needed. I am 45, in good shape, and have been an athlete all my life.
But drinking lot of fluids, sucking lozenges, gargle with salt water, breathing moist air to soothe sore throat, refraining from taking decongestants (because they dry your throat), resting your larynx will help you. Antibiotics and anti inflammatory against prescription will help you. I suggest you to consult ENT specialist. Take care and regards.
said i have sinus drip that causes me to cough a lot.Inhaler helped, but now i find i am losing my voice.I had a sore throat for 2 weeks, now my voice is very weak, only whisper, and some flem at back of throat at times. If i talk normal cracky and difficult for 2 weeks now.Sometimes i feel inhaler is causing my voice problems or both? i seem to have had this voice problem, but much less for years but not this bad, especially when i could feel sinus dripping down back of throat.
If it was just the one time, it could have been irritation from coughing. Was your throat sore at all? I have had this happen a few times myself, especially if my throat is sore or if I have been coughing excessively. If this continues, it wouldn't hurt to run it by your doctor. You could have an infection or something else. He would be able to better assess you and run the appropriate tests if necessary.
I've been having trouble sleeping even since I started on my second dose of the second strength allergen for my immunotherapy. I have a sore throat, as well as a croupy cough and, whenever I go to bed, a head ache. I have reason to believe this is allergy related because the medicine that my doctor prescribed is only focusing on my sore throat, I also have a cat, and I know that the weather has a huge effect on my allergies, mold, dust mites, and grass.
I have chronic post nasal drip and cough, pain in front of head and sinuses and sometimes a 'wheezy' throat (and generally being worn out). Things that I find seem to make it worse are eating anything with milk in, dust, car fumes, cigarette smoke & animals. Recently been to see my Dr. He suggested Singulair which sounds great but I am worried because it has lactose in. So far I have taken it for 2 weeks the pain has stopped but the post nasal drip and cough continue.
Hopefully her symptoms have cleared considerably and she's off all the above except for the singulair. Her symptoms are mostly a nose infection and an occasional sore throat. My question is should she be off the singulair? Her Drs. think it's useful but i'm worried about it's long term effect and now that she seems to have outgrown her asthma why should she stay on any meds?
headache, dizziness, nervousness; sleep problems (insomnia); cough, hoarseness, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose; dry mouth and throat; muscle pain; or diarrhea. This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Tell your doctor about any unusual or bothersome side effect." All the Best!
vitamin D has helped me greatly, normally by this time I would have been sick with a cold twice (midterms and finals) plus have a couple extra small 2 days sore throat things. This year I have had no cold/flu what so ever even with being diagnosed with asthma last year. Thus I'm healthier with having inhaled steroids that are suppose to lower your immunity (symbicort 200ug 4-6x a day and my asthma is not well controlled right now).
Over the last year or so, this persistant cough has gotten much worse, and tends to last more than a month. Recently, a doctor I went to prescribed prednisolone, and symbicort (an inhalor). He told me that my cough is due to a sensitive windpipe and causes chronic bronchitis. He also gave me some antibiotics. He did not take an xray to confirm bronchitis. This inhalor is quite expensive, and I have never had need for one before. But then again.

, fatigue, heavy eyes, feel cold, muscle aches), a mild sore throat and my lungs/sinuses are inflamed. Compared to a regular cold the nasal/throat symptoms are not as severe but the malaise is worse – particularly the fatigue - lung involvement is a bit more pronounced as well. Within a day the lymph nodes under my jaw enlarge. After 4 days my lymph nodes have returned to normal size and the symptoms are gone.
I have horrible face/neck pain, headaches and a feeling of my throat being constantly clogged up. It has made me so down I keep crying and feels like its taking over my life. Im meant to be marrying next year and should be the happiest ive ever been, but instead of that some days i feel like giving up. I don't want to live like this. Im on so many different medications and nothing seems to work for me.

I have bronchitis with a severe cough I am taking 50mg cortisone a day I am not able to cut down yet as the cough is too severe. It's been around 4 weeks since it started as a sore throat and moved down to my chest am taking antibiotics Clarithromycin 250mg & Doxycycline Monohydrate (50mg), Rikodeine or Codeine cough suppressant, Symbicort inhaler. I do have some seasonal allergies that are easily controlled. I was just getting over a pretty decent sore throat (not sure if this matters), when I moved into a new apartment. Three days later, I started waking up with tightness in my chest. Three months of waking up early with tightness, I went to the doctor and had a breathing test. All I was told after that is, you have asthma, here's an inhaler, case closed. My asthma only occurs at nighttime, 2 years now.
I had now elevated temperature, sore throat and lymph nodes I started to bat. Today I had the better it took about a week. viraemia (about colds). Please reply with HIV is still a threat to me? Please answer the questions that otherwise might not get rid of;] Thank you.
I am currently on spireva, albuterol and symbicort. Symbicort can give you thrush so you have to rinse and spit after use. I quit smoking all together. It is hard because I really want one. I know if I do, It will probably kill me. I have seen suginficant improvement in my breathing. I now maintain a level of 91 and only need oxygen at night. If you have conjestion like I did and you are not coughing up blood, you can use mucinex. I had to take 2 600mg tabs twice a day.
