The next day went to gyno, no yeast but higher white blood cells and all symptoms gone by next day. Same time I have swollen neck lymph nodes. Still slightly swollen four days later but now tonsil is also swollen. STD maybe? Neither of us have pain when pee. I have no discharge of any kind! Please help!
During the day, I have far less mucous that I have to cough up and my coughs seem lighter and not as forced as when I wake up and try to clear the mucous out. The lymph nodes in my neck also feel very swollen to the touch. Any ideas to what this might be and what the best treatment is? Thank you!

No test for mono, just swollen lymph nodes and tonsils. I had a big scare it was form hiv but im negative on that thankgod. If its mono, then what do i do? does it go away on its own.
About 2 weeks ago the lymph node on the right side of my neck was swollen and painful. There was no fever or any other issue and I didn't think much of it since it went away on it's own in about a day. Now the same lymph node is swollen again and I still don't have a fever. I'm not sure if this is related but about ten years ago I had my tonsils removed. Could this be something serious?
Hi, Infections like sore throat, tonsillitis, dental infection, syphilis, genital herpes to name a few can all cause enlarged lymph nodes. To know the difference between cancer and infection a biopsy is essential and diagnostic. What other symptoms does your daughter have apart from swollen lymph nodes?
I am frustrated of repeated attacks. Also my lymph nodes are swollen for 3 months now. I went to the ENT specialist too. but he has no clue too. Any ideas?
For roughly the past four months, I've had swollen lymph nodes (I believe that's what it is, at least) on only the left side of my neck. The swelling increases and decreases, but is always present. Just today I discovered a hard lump at the base of my skull (on the left side). The lump is hard and feels like bone. I'm just wondering what may be the cause of this.
Hello, I am having swollen lymph nodes (two). I had it a few days back when I flew in a long journey to my home country and now when I flew back to my residential country. I am scared if this is because of HIV. I did not have unprotected sex ever (not even blowjob). Just once for 15 sec I had unprotected blowjob but I am sure I did not have any cut on my penis. I also had extensive masturbation recently. Please suggest me if I should be worried and should get tested?
Other causes include allergic reactions, arthritis, cancer, metabolic diseases, autoimmune diseases, benign tumors and an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism). What is the constituency of the swollen lymph nodes? Soft nodes are most likely infection or inflammation, firm but rubbery nodes could be lymphoma and rock hard nodes are more likely from some other type of metastatic cancer not lymphoma.
They are usually reddened and may have white spots on them. The lymph nodes of the jaw and neck may be enlarged and tender to the touch. A culture of the tonsils may show bacterial infection. A culture for the streptococcus bacteria (strep) may be taken because it is the most common and most dangerous form of tonsillitis. A rapid strep test may also be performed by your physician by taking a throat swab for a quick diagnosis.
Had a CT scan, and the secretary told me that it showed 2 swollen lymph nodes. My doctor is away until next week and I'm going crazy! I have had these swollen for almost 3 years!! Any idea? Could this be caused from the surgery or the swollen tonsil? I have no other symptoms except for this. The nodes are painless, but uncomfortable.
Hello - I am wondering how long I should watch a lymph node that is swollen before seeing a doctor. To date its been about a month that I have had a lymph node swollen in my neck. I also have a nose that will not heal. It is always mucousy and sore, its has been this way for over a year. Also when I swallow I feel like I have a lump in there and recently have had a harder time breathing. Like making my bed leaves me a bit winded or even talking.
What size are lymph nodes before they swell. I believe I can feel them in my jawline though they are only 1cm roughly large. I believe they aren't swollen through infection. Is 1cm there normal size?

The cough I end up with is quite distressing and I often bring up stomach contents by coughing so much. I have had swollen lymph nodes in my neck under my chin. They have been swollen for many years. My nose runs every time I eat ( when I am well too). I had a parathyroid gland removed about 25 years ago. I also have some reflux. Are any of these things related and is there anything I can do to be healthier?
was hospitalized for tingling in arms and legs last month. ct scan showed showed the swollen lymph nodes in neck abdomen and pelvis......mentioned doing i biopsy. but released me telling me to follow up with the hemo/oncologist. i pray he ok as well.
I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck and did get a CT scan and MRI. My ENT is considering my tonsils to be the problem, but wants to do an FNA on one of the surface lymph nodes to determine what the cause of the chronic enlargement is. If you'd rather not have a CT scan due to the radiation, ask your ENT if you can have an MRI, instead.
It will not show on any STD tests. Are your Lymph nodes sore/swollen? Any other symptoms?
I have had swollen lymph nodes in my neck for over one month. The nodes were incredibly swollen for about 2-3 days and since then have consistently been slightly swollen and slightly tender. Other minor symptoms include trouble swallowing (or at least perceived trouble swallowing) neck pain, slight stiffness, and feeling my heart beat in my neck. I do not have a sore throat, and I do not have allergies.
nasal drip, swollen lymph nodes in neck, trouble swallowing, burning throat, difficulty at times breathing, cough up pieces of foul matter. Now I seen to be having difficulty balancing at times. This has been on-going since Dec '04. A recent CT scan showed enlarged tonsils. My family physician said the ENT would be reluctant to remove tonsils and/or adnoids even after the few treatments with various antibiotics I've already recieved. I can't understand why.
I have recently developed very swollen tonsils and my neck glands have swollen (probably understandable). However, it has just paniced me more and i have been checking for swollen nodes in my groin and armpits. Would swollen nodes be blatantly obvious? also 11 weeks is too late for these symptoms to be related to ARS isnt it?
5 days later, right tonsils swells and may have sore throat, with slight fever. More lymph nodes at the bottom of the neck swollen. My question is are these symptoms consistent with ARS. What are my chances of being infected with HIV? I've been so stressed out and there have been stretches when I thought of nothing else for hours. Is my fear legitimate?
after a few months i noticed that one of my lymph nodes under my chin was swollen and i have seen a ENT specialist. She initially checked it with touch and said it was too small to be worried about. After about another year in 2012 i didnt have any kind of infection or sickness but a couple of lymph nodes on the side of my neck were swollen to a size of a lentil. I visited the doctor again she put me on an antibiotic for 2 weeks and nothing changed.
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii swollen lymph nodes in neck is result of the infection or inflammation of tonsils or pharynx.you must wait some day because infection will go in some days.
Pls get yourself evaluated by an ENT specialist for that.Swollen lymph nodes indicate an infection and your upper respiaratory tract and tonsils may be causing it. Tingling of tongue can be due to diabetes, hypothyroidism, peripheral vascular disease, vitamin B12 deficiency or malnutrition. It is also common in alcoholics.Pls get yourself evaluated for these. Treatment will depend on the diagnosis. In case you need more information then pls post us.Take care and regards.
