I have 4 on my lips, 4 on my gums and 2 on my tongue... my gums are swollen and my tonsils have many white spots on them... i still struggle through eating even ice cream and have lost about 10 pounds (which is not a good thing when you have very little to lose)... i understand that it's a viral infection, but since it's lasted 6 days and tomorrow will complete the full week and my throat and mouth have not improved much i'm getting a little concerned... any help?
my right upper gums are red and swollen for the past 1 month.i got this after brushing. 2 days back i got pain in my swollen gums and i got puss and bleeding from that portion. after that the gums are lightly swollen and there is no pain now. i did'nt visited the dentist. can i get infection in my gums? what to do as a first aid and when should i visit the dentist? i also got root canal treatment for the tooth above which i got this gum problem.is there any problem because of the tooth ?
My only symptoms appeared to be the white-yellow sores on the inside of my cheeks, the inflamed gums, the high fever, and swollen lymph nodes just under my jaw. My pulse was high and this was attributed to the fever.

I just got back from the doctor. diagnosed with Herpangina. Rare for a someone older than six. It's a viral infection of the mouth. A pretty bad case of it, they prescribed an antibiotic and a "magic mouthwash" that tastes pretty bad, i have to swig it around for a few minutes and then eventually drink it. I do this every 6 hours.

has there been any cases where mouth issues would occur 5 months after infection? hiv is a viral infection correct? so this constant elbow rash and cronic congestion since could be related as my body cannot fight it off? you dont have to answer as i have taken up so much of your time already, i am just scared to death that all of these things have been going on since the possible exposure..
He woke up one morning and I could barely see his teeth..Gums were swollen and bleeding.. On the same day crown was fitted pt was diagnosed by primary care physician w viral infection (cold) and bacterial (sinus) infection. Also on same day crown was fitted pt had two moles removed w subsequent skin infection at removal sites (swelling, redness, pus) resolved after about 1-2 wks. Antibiotic was RX by primary care physician for sinus infection only; also during this time both of the pain medications listed above were RX (along w OTC ibuprofen).
Lymphadenopathy (swollen lymph nodes) is usually caused by a viral or bacterial infection. Other causes include allergic reactions, arthritis, cancer, metabolic diseases, and an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism).
I would suggest a FNAC and biopsy of the lymph node to confirm the diagnosis.Pls consult a physician to confirm the diagnosis.

Before knowing what he had we were drinking from each others cup and I have been giving him kisses. Now my gums are inflamed and swollen and sore. I cnt even eat. It started on my left back lower molar and worked its way to the top gums and its making its way to the front. May I have it too? And if so wat do I do?
I have no fever and my gums are not sore expect for a hard white bump I found infront of my gums under a tooth which I have been poking at a lot and the rest of my gums seem farely normal. maybe slightly swollen but not much. no ulcers or blisters and gums don't seem to be bleeding from flossing. I have what looks like a blocked saliva gland (resembles a pimple kinda) under my tongue aswell as the ones in my cheeks seem to be a bit swollen or I just never noticed them before.
Your descriptions suggest the presence of infection. Seeing a dentist is advised.
In gingivitis there are swollen gums, bad breath, easily bleeding of the gums during flossing or brushing and gums may appear red-colored. Scurvy can lead to swollen bleeding gums, weakness, joint pains and muscle pains. In periodontitis there is soft tissue and bone deterioration with tender swollen gums. These are only few possibilities. For exact diagnosis and treatment a dental examination is necessary. Do keep me posted.
