You might check the archives. I wrote all about how I got rid of mine for good a few months ago. After you finished the doctors Rx you will still have them and you can get Chinese herbs for viruses. the one I used was VSP by Nature's Sunshine. Worked great. My leisons were on my back. I don't think you can use the same ointment on your face (near your eyes) that I used on my back.
there has been no pain at all. the onset was not associated with any symptoms (fever, swollen glands, sore throat, tiredness). Other than the rash, I am a 47-yr old heterosexual male in excellent health, no allergies. I’ve experienced no recent weight loss, colds, flu, or fevers. My pcp diagnosed poison ivy, although I have not been in any situation where I would be exposed to poison ivy or anything similar.
I am lost & confused. I was engaged and had sexual intercourse with my fiance' a week before the wedding. 4 days later I had pain in my vagina & started feeling knots & blisters. I googled vaginal ulcers & herpes & decided to go to the ER. I was running a fever & was very weak & dizzy.
But this is unlikely to cause any sensitivity on the scalp. Sometimes herpes zoster or shingles can present initially with sensitivity which can progress to pain and rash. So, wait and watch and keep track of the symptoms you develop. in the meantime for pain relief you can use OTC Tylenol (acetaminophen). Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
For a woman your age (relatively young) to have so many outbreaks of shingles, low grade fevers, resp problems and swollen glands (lymph nodes?) I am concerned about an underlying problem with your immune system. the medical term is "immunocompromised state." This occurs in the elderly, people who have cancer, HIV+ patients, and steroid-dependent patients (taken for a number of disorders) among other diseases that would affect your immune system.
On examination by a 3rd doctor he diagnosed shingles and started me on antivirals. My whole forehead is now swollen and the glands near my jaw hurt. It does not look like a typical shigle rash as the blisters are quite large, would something else be causing this or could all these symptoms be shingles?? the blisters have crossed the midline.
anxiety, abdominal pain, swollen glands, sore soles of feet, eye pain, light sensitivity, fatigue, insomnia, leg tightness ( restless leg syndrome), heart palpitations, joint tenderness, stomach issues like IBS, rashes that can look like stretch marks and many more. My husband and I were diagnosed with lyme disease and we also have this infection called bartonella. We have had many of these symptoms show up gradually over a ten year period.
in the meantime, I became ill again, this time diagnosed with Mononucleosis. the swollen and sore glands cleared up fairly quickly, but the fatique remains a month later. I went for the 2nd blood test on Mon and Tues night I became violently ill with a stomach virus. A week after the blood test, the doctor called with the results, slightly elevated IgM (I think she said 1.6), but no change in IgG levels.

I recently had 6 or 7 clear blisters (a little bigger than a pen point, not tightly clustered) appear on my uvula and the back of my throat, along with a sore throat, some swollen glands and fatigue. I am currently without insurance. I went to a local clinic, thinking it was an infection or related to the reflux, as I've had very bad heartburn lately, and they said they thought it looked like oral herpes.
I was having what turned out to be a mild breakout for a few weeks. Last week if blew up to a massive "first" break out with swollen glands and everything. I went to the doctor on the 16th, the day after I discovered the swollen glands, was put on an antibiotic while tests were being run because they didn't think it was herpes.

A very red throat with very little pain, feels like a soar throat is coming but never does. Tender down both sides of my neck I have constant soft stool and have had diarhea 6 times in 3months. Hi I really need some advice please. I've had swollen glands and a migraine for 3 days followed by a breakout of what looks like chickenpox. It's all over my scalp, my face, my stomach, my back and unfortunately my genitals too. the only problem is that I've had chickenpox before and unlike chickenpox this is really painful. Too painful to even touch. My doctor saw the blisters when they came up but said it couldn't possibly be shingles as shingles will only occur in one place.

Hey all, I am trying to piece together my symptoms if anyone can offer any suggestions. -oral thrush -fatigue -swollen neck glands -low abdominal pain (ovaries?) -occasional liver(?) pain -ringworm -athletes foot -shingles (at 12 years old!) I tested negative for HIV about a month ago after possible exposures 6-9 months ago. I was so excited about the results I forgot to ask any questions like what was my cd4 count, etc. Now Im finding it hard to believe they actually ran the tests!
Have been taking double-strength Bactrim along with Valtrex in case it could be the start of shingles. It has been 4 days on meds with no improvement, but no rash either. Extremely painful. Wake up every 2 hours and need Vicodin. Seems to radiate into cheek. Scalp itches now. Now also have one swollen, painful lymph node under left jaw. Shouldn't the Bactrim be working by now? Is there a more effective antibiotic that I should be using?
I do not have a fever, though I had one a couple of weeks ago with a sore throat and swollen lymph glands. I am also getting a lot of new spider veins on my check and abdomen. the same rash is on the inside of my forearms and on my biceps, but it is much more subtle there. I can only tell it is there because it is blanching. My knees are also a bit red. My back and neck burn like I have been in the sun, but I have not.
My symptoms started with what looked and felt like a yeast infection under only the hood of the clitoris, once that cleared up I was still experiencing extreme sensitivity on the clitoris and/or the inner labia. My inner labia are swollen to some degree every day; sometimes sensitivity comes with this, sometimes not. When I say sensitivity I mean that every little hair, underwear or anything that touches my inner labia or clitoris is an irritant!!
I also have this problem. I wake every morning with itchy, swollen eyelids. they seem to clear at times leaving me with scaly, dry skin, so bad that I can't apply eyeliner without it looking broken up. I went on vacation 2 weeks ago and I had no problem at all. I have 2 questions. where do you buy the Neem oil? I'm willing to give it a try. My next question is does everyone suffering from this "eye" thing have a dog? Thanks for your advice.
the night before my consultation with the surgeon I decided to pop this so called pimple on my jaw bone but the next morning I had a repeat occurence of the swollen painful glands. I went to the surgeon and he said it was from the infection as well. I had the surgery to remove my teeth 2 weeks ago and it was successful.
It is what is causing my left ear to hurt and i feel my throat glands on the left side to be swollen. When she looked at it she automatically knew it was a virus and she said something like "potluck" but i believe i heard her wrong. Do you happen to know any virus that matches these symptoms? My Dr. asked me if i had any rashes and i tod her no because i don't. She prescribed antiviral acyclovir for 5 days/3times per day.. can you help me identify this?
