Swollen glands neck fatigue

Common Questions and Answers about Swollen glands neck fatigue

swollen

However it's been almost a month that my left neck gland is swollen and sometimes painful. A smaller swelling may exist at the right gland of my neck. I had a CBC exam and it has shown iron deficiency, I think other than that everything else were OK. My GP gave me some iron pills. I have no other symptoms such as fever, fatigue, weight loss or other swollen visible glands but I am very worried as I've done some research over the net and I read all about lymphomas etc.
I was tested for STDs about 6 weeks after the incident (not HIV tested though) and all tests came back negative, Within the past week, the glands in my neck, underarms and right side of my groin have been swollen (I can feel them when I push on them) and I am very tired. I have been researching HIV and now I am terrified that is what it is!!!! I know I should get tested. Any other advice?
Ie wouldn't it be likely to have swollen glands in his neck and groin as well as arms? Are lymph nodes usually detectable by touch? Sight? We cannot feel any individual 'nodes' just a general noticable swelling and pain beneath the arms. There have been no other symptoms that we can think of. Are swollen glands/nodes also associated with other std's?
I have had sore, swollen glands in my neck for over 3 weeks. My Dr. agreed they were swollen but ruled out lymphoma as I had had some blood tests but they were done before I had these symptoms. I don't feel it would be lymphoma, but I thought maybe some kind of virus as I am running a low grade fever from 99.3 to 100.3. My "normal" is usually 97. I was taking an antibiotic (Bactrim) for an abscess I had on my buttock caused by a bee sting probably. Another Dr.
You could also perhaps have mono if you had a sore throat, swollen glands and high fever, fatigue etc. A lot of things will cause high ESR and swollen glands. What other symptoms do you have?
Hi, Does anyone know if Prostatitis can cause swollen glands in other parts of the body (underarms and neck). I've had persistent penile aching/pain for 8 weeks. This seems to get worse as the day progresses (I get up in the morning feeling fine). Anyway about 3 weeks ago I started to get pain under both armpits, this has not gone away either. I'm off to see a urologist in a couple of days, but was just wondering if anyone knew if they could be connected.
I think I have 4 glands that are swollen in my neck area, the largest is on the left under my jaw bone about half way between my chin and jaw. It seems to be about 2 to 3 cm. The others 1 cm. or less. The largest one seems to have gotten harder over the last couple of weeks. I'm having a hard time not constantly thinking about the possibillity of having cancer. My wife keeps telling me not to worry, it's probably nothing.
I had noticed the glands in my neck were swollen and brought it to the attention of the ER DR, but noticed after the fact that it isn't just the glands in my neck that are swollen. The glands in my neck, armpits, and groin are swollen. NOTE: neck and groin seem to be swollen the most. also the left side is more swollen for both. I am under a lot of stress and am suffering from a pretty severe depression and am wondering if this could be part of the cause?
many things can cause swollen lymph nodes and swollen glands. continue to follow up on that with your provider to try to figure out what caused them. sometimes it can take awhile for them to go back down.
I have had swollen glands in my neck for the past 6 months (at least). At first, I thought that my impacted wisdom teeth that were probably getting infected were the cause. I had them out in October and it is now the middle of March and my glands are still swollen. I went to my physician who ordered a cbc, thyroid, and mono tests and everything came back fine. She never could give me an explaination for these symptoms.
I have had constant swollen glands in my neck for almost 2 years since I moved to Idaho. Recently I developed acid reflux. I am in to health and I have been taking apple cider vinegar daily, to help reduce it. I have had a history of candida which I am also treating naturally. I have seen MD's and I have seen natural pathic doctors and no one knows what it is. I am getting frustrated with the swollen glands, They are very uncomfortable and make swallowing difficult.

I don't want to alarm you but swollen glands and enlarged spleen are two of the symptoms I had before I was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. But you don't have any of the other symptoms like fatigue, bruising, or achiness that I had. Did your Dr. run blood tests recently? Wouldn't hurt to have a CBC and BMB just to rule it out. Keep me posted.

All negitive HIV (always safe, even took a pcr at 7 weeks just incase), white and red cells are good,no lyme, no bacteria. Why are my glands still swollen? I did go to the dentist and they told me that my wisdom teeth need to come out.
I have swollen painful glands on both sides of the front of my neck and low fever for 6 days. I was put on a Zpac but I had no response. I am freaking out. Going for a CBC tomorrow. I had post nasal drip and congestion in my head for a week prior to the glands. Has any experienced this before? I had mono when I was a kid so I dont think it is that. Should I be worried that this is something serious?

) In the absence of any other symptoms, am I foolish to link this swollen gland to ARS? I can't recall ever having a swollen gland in my neck before. 2.) Is one week (7 days) after an encounter early to exhibit symptoms of ARS? 3.) If one is experiencing ARS, would symptoms typically occur in multiples or singularly. 4.

Today she is poorly - swollen glands and sore throat, very dehydrated. She had a headache last week but that has gone. She is a student - there has been a case of bacterial meninitis in her block recently but she is showing no sign of stiff neck or ongoing headache. She does not have a significantly raised temperature. Should I just keep closely monitoring or rush to bemused and off duty local GP?
I've had swollen glands in the back of my neck, under my chin and on my chest off and on for 5 years. Sometimes they are painful and sometimes they aren't. I often feel like I'm coming down with the flu but it never develops. It began when I was pregnant with my second daughter and developed anemia for which I took iron. I also developed eczema on the palms and soles of my feet at the same time. I saw my doctor who ran tests and ruled out mono, strep, and said all my bloodwork looked fine.
About five days ago, I noticed one of the glands on the left side of my neck was a little sore and swollen. The next two days, I woke up with a bit of a headache and that heavy feeling in your eyes. I started noticing a bit of a fever - about 99.5. Now for the last two days, I have had up to 100.5 with white spots on my left tonsil and some pressure in my left ear. All the swelling/pressure is on the left side of my head/neck - but there's no pain or soreness in my throat.
Hello, I first noticed my lymph nodes were swollen on the left side of my neck about 2 weeks ago. They may have been swollen longer than that, I'm not sure because I don't regularly feel my neck. I was concerned about it so I decided to go to the doctor. I explained my concerns to my doctor, told her I wasn't experiencing any other symptoms (no pain, sore throat, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc.) I also don't have swollen glands anywhere else.
I'm concerned that my cut was exposed before we had protected sex. Two days ago, I developed swollen glands in my throat and swollen tonsils. I went to the doctor and he said it appeared to be the beginning stages of strep throat, however; I have no soar throat or pain. I do not have a fever, fatigue, night sweats, rash or any other ARS related symptoms. I asked my friend about her HIV status and she said that she was recently tested and is 100% clean.
Three months ago I started getting sharp shooting pains in my neck followed by swollen glands, earache and fatigue. Three weeks ago I had burning pains in the back of my knees and they became very sore. Since then my arms have become heavy and aching with tingling in my fingers and my neck has been stiff with excruciating dull and pin-like head pains that cover the whole of my head. I also have fleeting sharp pains in various places around my body but these come and go.
