The pain is particularly bad in the morning when at its worse and the evenings when my feet and ankles are very swollen. The joints were very hot to touch but now they alternate between hot and cold and when cold if I try warm them they feel like they are burning but they are cold to touch.
After a weekend of trying to rest my joints and feeling really relieved that the pain had reduced I went back to work Monday with less swelling and ankle joints that looked marginally less red and angry.
Starting around Thursday Feb 18th at 11pm, I noticed my feet were swollen. The swelling is mainly on the top and the sides of my foot. It ends right around my ankle/sock line. There was no pain, no discoloration, and no scratches for infection. I went to the ER because I was scared. They ran blood tests and a urine test, and EKG. My kidney/liver levels were fine, as was my urine. The EKG was also normal.
More than anything, i will notice my ankles swollen after a night of drinking. i try to elevate my feet as much as possible when i am sitting at a desk or lounging. I am 30 years old, 6' 175 lbs. I eat right and stay in shape. The one unhealthy thing i do to my body is binge drink one sometimes two nights a week. i have probably had this for about 8 years.
My Husband has been suffering for 4 years now without anybody diagnosing his symptons. His Feet are so swollen he can hardly walk , We can't find shoes wide enough to fit his feet as well. The toes are so swollen , His fingers as well .. We need help in finding out what this is.. He just had major inflamation removed from his wrist and the doctor just said it was an auto immune deficiency in his body..
my mother is 75 and on blood pressure medication and her feet are so swollen they look like balloons is this the cause of her swollen feet.

I'm 36 weeks today and since last night my left feet got swollen and my right feet is kinda getting swollen too but not as bad as the left one should I go to the er to get check up because I'm at high risk pregnancy or its normal to get swollen at 36 weeks?

So Today Was My Babyshower .. Usually My Feet Swell Up At Random Times & Once Ina Blue Moon .. Really Happens Only When Im Sitting Down For A Long Period Of Time .. Today At My Babyshower They Slowly Started Swelling & As I Was Sitting Down Opening Gifts I Could Feet My Feel Swelling .. i Had To Even Take My Sandles Off ! & Struggled To slide Them Back In !! Its Now 10:53 at Night & This Started Happening Around 4ish & My Feet Are Still Swollen ..
Agree w above.. I never had swollen feet/hands w my 1st 2 pregnancies. My 3rd however, I started swelling around 25wks. I couldn't wear my wedding bands. My ankles also would be swollen. I didn't gain a lot of weight only 30lbs total for the entire pregnancy. What I noticed helped me was wearing my tennis shoes, if I did my ankles would not swell. I think having my feet better supported. But my hands stayed swollen the entire pregnancy I had to stop wearing my wedding rings completely.

Hi ladies im 32 weeks and my feet got a lil swollen. One is more swollen than the other lol. Normally yes im tored my feet hurt aince i stand all day at work but once im up im ok i can handle it. I have a lot of energy. Yesterday i had a small baby shower just friends and i was walking around ALL day today i clean ALL day and now it hurts to even walk. My feet are killing me i feel like i cant even put pressure on them so i walk as if i have needles sticking out :/.
Epsom salt soak. Or keep your feet up past your hips.
