Common Questions and Answers about Swollen feet blisters

swollen

I am staying with some friends at their college and just today I started getting very small blisters all over my left hand. Now I have even more appearing on my right hand and my toes. I have touched a rat today, but just touched its face, not picked it up or anything so I dont think its allergies. I had a minor sore throat for the past two days and the feeling of slightly swollen lymph nodes. Anything you can tell me to help out would be much appreciated!

My son is 6 yrs old and has 3-4 blister/callus's on both of his feet, they are very swollen and look as if a blister has formed under the skin. The others are tender but look like dried callused areas on the toes, and pads of feet. These do not look like your typical water filled blister on the foot from a new shoe etc.
Started out like athletes foot on his left foot then he started getting blisters between toes and on bottom of his foot they are very sore and make sores after they bust. He has some blisters on his hands also. He went to doctor several times they told him it was a fungus. Nothing has done it any good. Now its on both feet and hands. He is a diabetic and he has Sarcoidosis.
What happens when you have swollen feet that have yellow drainage and, they aren't getting any smaller and are even turning red? Both feet are turning red and almost look like they are forming 'blisters' on the top of the feet. They are draining a lot of yellowish clear fluids. We clean it with saline soultion and wrap them with gause pads and gause wrap daily..Is there anything else we can do to help the feet? Whats going to happen if it continues this way and we do not see any improvment.
My palms and now running up my fingers and inbetween fingers have a million little blisters they are now starting on my souls of my feet. My hands are swollen, they HURT! HELP I have changed NOTHING as far as any products.

His current meds are:Digoxin, Hydrochlorothiazide, Aciphex, Levoxyl, Phenobarbital, Coreg, Lisinopril, Furosemide, Coumadin, Baby aspirin, Detrol, and Dilantin.
I do. My feet sometimes get really itchy, and feel swollen, even if they're not. Sometimes they feel so hot, but other times they are icy cold from Raynaud's. I also get tingling through my feet, but not quite the same as when your foot goes to sleep. my Dr. said it's all from the vasculitis.
my 3 year old daughter had some weird blisters show up on her feet in Jan. 2006. They started out as red dots under the skin. Then they came to surface and grew rapidly going threw different stages. They become filed with fluid sometimes swollen around them. Then they get dry and peel layers of skin off. Sometimes they crack open and bleed.
In the blister stage they only itch occasionally, and I have to wear shoes, for example, the itch is at first really strong and then gets milder. I have these bumps/blisters on the top of my feet and toes (not between) in the arch of the foot, around the heel and ankles, and some on the legs. They are not really clustered together. There are also a few on my arms, but these seem to remain quite small (or maybe I've scratched them without noticing and broken them at the early stage).
My big toes were inflamed and then turned into blisters. There is no itching involved. Does anyone know what this is?
I have blisters on several of my toes (on both feet) and it's not from athlete's foot or poor shoes. The blisters are extremely itchy/sore and are the size of a pea. I have one on each of the first 3 toes starting with my big toe. They are mostly on top of my toe between the last knuckle and my toenail, but one is on the side/tip of one toe. They are not true blisters in that there is no fluid sack. It is simply a very swollen and red hive. It seems like really firm and inflamed tissue.
Two weeks ago i noticed her limping on one foot and then trying to walk on the outside of her feet. A swollen pink rash popped up on her right heel (the rash appeared to be under the skin, cottage cheese bumpy in appearance). I took her to a naturopath and an MD and neither knew what it was but said it looked like a viral infection and it would soon pass. Well 2 days later her fingertips blistered and popped and the skin peeled away.
I have had these small itchy clear blisters and blood blisters appear on my fingers, toes and palms for as long as I can remember. I am now 32, so the "age ranges" in some of the previous posts do not apply to me. It was worst from about age 10 to 25 and has eased a little now. I haven't had them on my feet for years, but I currently have at least 7 on my right palm.
I have a friend that was in Iraq also that came home little bumps that turn in to blisters on his feet and toes. when they pop the seem to hurt the most and spread his has now gotten them on hes hands from dealing with the ones on his feet. Pompholyx primarily involves the hands and fingers and then may involve the feet. The first stage is acute and presents as itchy blisters on the hands, fingers and toes. Then the chronic stage shows more peeling, cracking, or crusting. Then the skin heals up, or the blistering may start again. The exact cause is not known and excessive sweating can be one of the reasons. Apply some calamine lotion on the affected area and keep the area well moisturized.
My mother is 60 years old, over weitght and at this stage her feet is swollen and have pain in it, and it looks like there is blisters on it as well. She have heart problems and High Blood Presure. We went to the doctor and they gave her 2 water tablets a day but that does not bring the water down on her feet it is so swollen that she can bearly walk. I am very worried about this because she is a high risk of a stroke or heart attact.
I have the same problem with blisters on the top of my feet, and there have been as many as 50 blisters at one time. I have been to the best doctors I can find, and they can't tell me what this is. I have spent 4 days in the hospital running test and still no answers. I have been to see 2 professors at Emory University Hospital and they have no answers. The only thing that they did was to put me on steroids for 8 months, that caused a 30 to 40 lb.
Hi 3 days ago for the first time of my life i woke up with hundreds of little blisters all over my face, i was freaking out...it was swollen, the blisters were bursting out all over and leaving scabs on so on and so forth... I called up my dr. and he told me to take BENADRYL every 4 to 6 hours and to calm my skin down ,he said to mix in a bowl 1 cup of COLD water with 1 Tablespoon of vinegar and to apply it all over my face. to dib it gently on the spots!!!
I love having long walks, but my feet still start hurting every time and get tired and swollen easily, just as they did in childhood. They also bleed all the time, because there just aren't shoes that would fit and not cause blisters. I have lived my whole life with these pains, so I don't think about them much when I have them, but of course it would be easier if there was something to do.
From the time my son was 4 months old, every time he gets sick with a cold or virus he developes these blisters on his thumb. It becomes red and swollen, has fever in it, and then the blisters appear. His thumb will eventually become almost twice as big as it should be and is extremely painful for him. After the blisters finally pop, he has holes in his thumb where the blisters were.
The scab seems to get irritated or it might even get knocked off prematurely from the walking/ running. The 2 clear blisters have not popped yet. It is slightly swollen in just that area as well. If it did not itch I probably would not know it was there. Any ideas??
I have lost over 17 pounds ( ok not such a bad thing, but not for a good reason), my back of my throat is swollen as well as my voice box, which are swollen quite badly. I cough to the extreme as to try and clear my throat.. to the point where I vomit, and my head feels like it is going to explode. I have had a Upper GI done and it came back no problems.. I think they need to do more tests and I am going to make sure they do................Oh and with this..
So change socks regularly. And use foot powder to help keep your feet dry. If the blisters still persist then please get it evaluated from a dermatologist/podiatrist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
I have several blisters or bumps on my fingers. they cluster around one another, some have grown together to form a large irregular shape. they do not break easily (have not broken any open) and yesterday looked like they were filled with a clear liquid, but are now hard and swollen red. There is no itch or pain associated with them. They are located mostly on the palm side of my index and middle finger, with some smaller blisters on the side and even fewer on the back of my fingers.
Hello, Unfortunately I agree with the doctors that your symptoms are typically suggestive of dyshidrotic eczema or pompholyx. In this small fluid-filled blisters called vesicles appear on the hands and feet which may cause itching. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
I recently stepped barefoot in what appeared to be an overflowing drain in the middle of Central Park in NYC while playing football. It was about ankle deep and at the time I had 2 blisters and one or two cuts on the soles of my feet. This happened only 5 days before my PCR-RNA test. Perhaps I am over-thinking things but I am pretty paranoid I could have stepped on a used needle or perhaps there were live viruses in what could have been in the sewage/waste that I stepped in.
I have the same problem, the first time i got them when i was 9 years old, I had 7 blisters on my left thigh, at first they looked like mosquito bites and they were so itchy, and they turned into blisters. And I have several marks in my feet and legs and right arm, And everytime I would have blisters I'd feel so sick, I feel like I have a fever and my legs or arms would feel so hot. And when they're about to heal, it gets itchier. I noticed that I'll just have them when it's around Spring-Fall.
Every once in a while i get the blisters on my feet- they come up suddenly and are extremely itchy - to the point that you want to claw yourself. the blisters themselves contain clear liquid and often come up in clusters. i found that popping the blisters offer much relief; however, please be extremely careful when doing this as the blisters will spread to any other part of your body that comes in contact with the liquid.
