Is that bad? How long is that going to last? What can I do to heal it?? Help please, im kind of scared!

Had reoccured every 2-3 wks, have had 9wks now when it hasn't happened, and yesterday it reoccurred. GP has tested for thyroid problems, all clear. I have psoriatic arthrits, my consultant says its not related, can you help?
I have a 5 yrs old daughter, who's always having a swollen eyelid and after few minutes you'll find that her eyes is a little bit reddish. I wanted to go to Doctor but i couldnt find a proper finding for it. Is there anybody could please explain why my daughter is having that problem. Thanks...
eye only for over a year. My eyelid appears to be swollen and hurts-it isn't always like this-it comes and goes with no obvious reason. I have had an eye exam and he said that nothing was wrong, that it must retain fluid, what could be the cause? I have had a MRI for Symptoms that are all on the rt. side including the my eye. The report said 5mm deep matter lesion on left side and two smaller lesions on the left side, poss. MS, had a spinal which was neg.
My left eyelid has been swollen for three days, there is no pain, no bump or itching, but i do feel slight pressure on my eye. it is swollen evenly through and very noticable compared to my other eye, i have tried warm compresses and iceing my eye but nothing has worked. it has not gotten worst but the swelling is still there and really worrying me. I do not have insurance so i can't see a doctor. How long is this going to last and what should i do?
I have had one swollen eyelid for over one month now. My optometrist and medical doctor say it is an allergy although allergy meds are not working nor are steriod eye drops prescribed to me.
I often wake up with one large, swollen, heavy eyelid. This has happened on and off since last year. it alternates between both the left and right eye, top or bottom eyelid, and sometimes even both. There is no pain, and the swelling is normally slightly reduced after using a cold compress... it is not the same puffiness that occurs after crying, it is more of a heavy and droopy upper eyelid.

When I was leaving here, I took pictures of my eyes - my left eyelid was red, itchy and swollen and the right one was normal. After I arrived in Poland, my eyelid slowly started to heal. I did not use any medication, just the hypoalergenic eye cream. A week later my eyelid was back to normal, I wore my regular eye makeup and once was even too tired to wash it off so I had it on for 24 hours. I had NO REACTION whatsoever. One can only imagine how thrilled I was to have my eyes back.
Several months ago I started using make up again, had no problems, and then out of the blue, again, my left eyelid got swollen, then red, then itchy and then scaley. The skin on my eyelid is so stretched now that even when it's not swollen, it droops over my eyelashes. I went to see an ophtalmologist again recently, but he said he it was probalbly from sleeping on my side (which I did not really buy).
for the last 2 or 3 days I had one swollen eyelid. Today the swelling seems to have gone away, but I am noticing now that my eyes seem very asymmetrical. I thought it was just me, so I took some pictures. The pictures make the problem even more apparent. Is this something I should worry about? Here are 1 "before" picture and 3 "after" pictures. I should also note that this may have been a problem for longer and I may have not noticed it. http://www.box.
Hello - I have a swollen upper eyelid (for over one month now). My optometrist and medical dr. have advised this is some sort of allergy (I am allergic to mold, pollen and trees). I have been given allergy meds and steroid drops but with no success. Eye is less swollen in morning (looks normal) and then gets worse as I go through the day. Can an allergy cause only one eye to swell for this length of time?
Starting two days ago my right eyelid was hurting a a little swollen. it has gotten more painful and much more swollen since then. If I flip my eyelid up it is very very red and it looked almost like a little red bump underneath - that was yesterday. Today it is so swollen I can't even flip the eyelid up. I called the eye dr and he can't fit me in today. What could it be? What should I do? I took benadryl last night thinking it may be an allergy but it didnt help at all.
So, as of yesterday, my lower right eyelid has become slightly swollen and is very painful to the touch. its not my entire eyelid however, about half of it is affected. it also hurts to close my eye or blink in general. I do not wear contacts or have glasses- my vision is fine. There appears to be no discharge at all aside from the normal nightly stuff that I wake up with, but I still fear it could be some form of an infection.
My daughter was fine one day and the next woke up with her right eyelid so swollen that she can barely open her eye. We took her to the docter and they say the eye itself is fine, but that she just has a swollen lid. Antibiotics were prescribed along with Benedryl. it has been 3 days now and so far the medicine hasnt touched it. She is just as swollen as ever and now it is red to go along with it. She is devestated, hurting, and there is nothing I can do for her.
Ok, so im a 22 yr old male who 2 months ago woke up one morning to a swollen lower left eyelid. The eyelid itself was swollen, allong with the skin underneith it, causing 2 ripples to form. it was red and dry. Over the last 2 months i have tried warm compresses and cold compresses, only showing minimal improvement. I have to apply neosporen multiple times a day to keep the skin from becoming so dry and tight. That skin does peel on occasion as well.
So almost 2 weeks ago now, I woke up with my right upper eyelid (only) so swollen that my eyebrow looked like I just had an overdone face lift on one side of my face. I tried putting cold compress on it, no change, as the day progressed swelling decreased, but not completely. Next day same thing, took some Actifed and rested for a few hours. This seemed to make the swelling go down quite a bit.
it seemed that just the inner part (toward the nose) of the eyelid was red and swollen but the skin above my eyelid has also drooped over my lid. The redness is gone and although my eye still feels like something is not quite right and the lid is a little more dry than normal, it looks all better except for that drooping skin. Is that due to swelling? Will it get better? I am only 24, so I don't think that skin should be drooping already (& on just one eye).
I have changed makeup and wash my eyelid. Why would the swelling be just in one eyelid if it is an allergic reaction? I do not have any discharge. My eye does start to burn and I rub without thinking before the swelling occurs.
Later that night when looking in the mirror I noticed my left eyelid was getting red and puffy. its two days later and my eyelid is now very swollen and if it gets any more swollen I will not be able to open my eye. I now also have a headache to go with it but I haven't detected a fever. I wear contacts but have not worn them in almost a week, instead I wear my glasses. I have had surgery on my left sinus passage which damaged the tear duct in my left eye. What should I do?
