Avatar n tn My husband woke this am with raised lesions (areas) from the outside of the iris towards the lacrimal caruncle on his left eye then later this evening it was also on the right eye. On the right eye its on both sides of the iris. He's having a slight vision problem. The swollen area is off white in color. It appears to be only slightly pink around the edges of the swollen part of the eye. Is this an infection of some kind or mabey alergies to something? Does he need to see a Dr.
Avatar n tn Hi, You wrote last time that your vision is blurred. Is it still very blurred, and is your eye significatly more swollen than after the surgery? If so, call your surgeon immediately. If not, call your doctor tomorrow morning, tell them what is going on with your eye, and discuss your drops. You MUST discuss this with your surgeon. Also check in and make sure that you are giving yourself the correct post'op care. I am so glad that your sister is there for help and support.
Avatar f tn Two weeks before I had an episode in that eye where the white part of my eye on the inside corner got swollen and my vision was blurred for probably less than an hour and then went back to normal, but the inside corner of my eye was very red and looked terrible for about 4 or 5 days and then cleared up. It didn't hurt at all, wasn't watery or anything, it was just really red.
Avatar f tn Sounds like preeclampsia if it's mixed with other issues like blurred vision, seeing spots, protein in urine or high blood pressure. Not much you can do once you're are already swollen, but my preeclampsia specialist has me on a no salt, caffeine, carbonated, or citrus drinks diet and it's been helping a lot to prevent it.
Avatar f tn I had a follow up yesterday and the optician said everything looked fine with my eyes and she could not pinpoint why my vision was blurred. I was given a variety of dry eye drops to try and was told to come back in 2 weeks. How long will it take for my eyesight to get back to where it was? I didn't have perfect vision but I never needed my glasses 24/7 either. I'm freaking out here.
Avatar n tn i then started putting the eye drops into the eye. i did this for a day and a half and stopped as my vision became very blurred to the point i had to lie with the eye closed. i decided id go to the emergency doctors first thing in the morning, unfortunatly in the night i was woken with lots of pain and tears in the affected eye. i couldnt move it and could not go near light.
Avatar f tn See my post after yours. My eye gets warm and feels swollen like it's going to explode and then tears start running from that eye. But I also then get numbness down the side of my face with it. My question after yours was about blurry vision. I get eye pain too to the point I have to take a pain pill. My opthamologist said about the eye pain that for me it could subclinical ot. i haven't seen him about the blurred vision. Maybe we should combine posts!

Avatar f tn The symptoms of a corneal abrasion are pain, sensitivity to light, blurred vision, difficulty holding the eye open. Pus is not a symptom of CAB. So if its red and there is a lot of pus it likely is infected and you should see a MD or ophthalmologist for treatment. If you have none of these other than mild itching use warm compresses and an over the counter itch medicine like Zaditor.
Avatar m tn I get blurred eye vision on a regular basis. Is this due to my Hepatitis? I am awaiting a full eye examination in the next few weeks, I am hoping to be able to start a new course of treatment with in the a month or so. I am concerned about the eye exam though.

Avatar f tn I'm not a doctor but thyroid eye disease is a good possibility based on your blurred vision, diagnosis of Hashimoto's and swollen eye muscles. Ocular symptoms can range from mild to severe. "Thyroid eye disease (TED) is a disease marked by swelling of the muscles and fatty tissues surrounding the eyeball within the orbit (eye socket). The swelling is due to inflammation of these tissues.

Avatar f tn t handle the therapy and work in same day. Then 29 days later (while working part time and going to vision therapy) the blurred vision came back and lasted a little less than 2 wks. Avatar f tn I woke this morning with severe blurred vision in my right eye. Upon examination I was told I had an elevated optic nerve. I'm being referred to a specialist however, I was told I should receive a call in a few days. Should I seek treatment sooner? I was told there could be a mass causing this. I'm very concerned. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar n tn I fell asleep and had my hand over my eye. When I woke up my hand was partially stuck to my eye. It is my left eye. It wasn't really painful other than when I first removed my arm. Now my vision is blurry in that eye and I have trouble focusing it. Is this something I should be concerned about and see a doctor about or will it pass after some time.
Avatar f tn I have had very blurred vision in one eye over about 24 hours. My vision is clear close-up but over a distance of over a foot or two it gets very blurry. I wear corrective lenses and they aren't improving my vision at all. I don't notice any pain or redness. I don't have problems with my other eye, but I'm blind in that eye so I wouldn't notice any problems. Should I wait and see if this improves or see a physician immediately?
Avatar m tn About two days ago I began having blurred vision in my left eye. My left eye isimpaired vision from an injury about 6 years ago that developed a scar over my macula and a sort of pucker. The last two days the only thing that has changed is my sleep pattern as I am a college student and have had many exams to study for.
