Common Questions and Answers about Swine flu stomach ache

stomach

I am about 8 weeks pregnant and have been feeling tingling in my left arm, hands and feet on and off since receiving my swine flu shot yesterday. I am very worried as well. Can someone urgently answer our question.
These symptoms do not describe the H1N1 flu. itchy nose, sneezing, headache are symptoms of an allergy. the stomach ache and diarreah sound more like maybe you ate something that didnt agree with you; or some other intestinal illness. sweating and always being hot can be from hormones or thyroid or something else eintirely.

To register, go to: http://www.medhelp.org/health_chats/register/17 Due to the swine flu, the US has declared a public health emergency. We're early in the outbreak of this new virus, with most all patients in the US having mild illness who have recovered without treatment. Only 1 of the 20 cases have been hospitalized.
I got my seasonal flu shot in September and had no problems or side-effects. I recieved my H1N1 swine flu shot a week ago and did not suffer any soreness or anything else. Considering the comments of other who have posted on this subject and experienced paiful side effects I am beginning to believe that some individuals can take flu shots with little or no problems, while other individuals will have pain and other side effect issues.
I was recently in Mexico for 1 week. I am not worried that I have swine flu. I have had diarrhea for a week, with mucus, and pressure. Now I have consitipation with mucus heartburn, headache and a mild back ache. I don't have a fever or any other symptoms. My stomach does not hurt, I am just wondering if I need to see a Dr. because I don't have health insurance. I am hoping this will go away on its own. I do not have any previous history of stomach issues.
Hi thanks for your response, i did ask the doctor if it could be sugar related but thinking about it we did not investigate further and i have noticed his mood changes after he has eaten something with a lot in, the only thing is, is that he is a REALLY fussy eater and only eats a handful of things, i think i will go and ask if they can test him though as maybe if it is that he will try other foods if he realises he will feel better, as for Candida he does take probitics for that as a while ago
chills, fever, sweating, freezing, headache, deep congested cough, feeling really sick like the flu, (I did have my flu shot) puffy face, tearing eyes and nausea. The only relief is over the counter pain reliever every four hours around the clock. I was starting to develop pneumonia, so doc prescribed antibiotic which IS helping even after only 12 hours. That's the sickest I've felt in years. Doc said it's something that is going around the country like wildfire now.
I had horrendous hives and itches and a burning pain many years ago on the outside of my upper arms. Reading your post reminded me of it! I hadn't even remembered till now! I was very hypo then but undiagnosed...(tried to tel the doctors but they wouldn't listen) I was sure it was from the glass of Port I liked to drink at night, so stopped drinking it, but of course, 3 months later still had it.
Or Pepto Bismol for a stomach ache. All natural with me. I do get sick lots, but I only get colds. No super infections; though last October I was certain I had the Swine Flu. I recovered nicely, and have only had one cold since then. I take a lot of vitamins and supplements and I like to think they're doing me a service! "Limit alcoholic beverages" sounds MUCH better than the "Zero alcoholic beverages" instruction I received from my pharmacist.
Hi hon, You've been through this before so you know how it is. Just breathe and pretend you have the worst flu ever. (I had swine flu and it was like the withdrawals I went through so there ya go! *grin*) You can do this and when the worst part is over you can be so proud of yourself for coming clean and getting your life back. Trust me, when you see the new and improved you, it will be so worth what you are going through now.
2009-got swine flu and developed sever asmtha shortly after. 2010- back and forth to drs with symptoms of thyroid problems. blood work always came back ok so the dr says. 2011- ok now here are all my symptoms. I have had a headache for 6 years straight and a stomach ache for 2 years. I have been sick for so many years on and off. Then about a year ago a friend though that my symptoms were similar to lyme. So I looked into it and I have since been treating myself and I am feeling better now then I have even been in many years. I am on here to learn more and maybe help others and try and straighten their path. Yes. I like to fish and I have many...many other hobbies that keep me busy around the clock.
00 I got all the tablets I had, over 300, put them all in a bag and returned them to the chemist, and that was the start of my journey into the bowels of HELL!!!!! Below you will find my journey to reality ( Please remember I was suffering greatly when writing, so at times it may seem a bit emotional........And it was. MY JOURNEY THROUGH WITHDRAWAL. Thursday 4pm. Last of the Oxy ( This is how I will refer to the drug from now on.) Nauseaus through the night. Friday 6am.
I think vitamins especially B12 are a very good idea I already take them due to a defficiancy. Here in the UK they are now playing down the threat from Swine Flu as new cases have dropped right down, although the government are still looking to vaccinate the under 5's!
He says there are problems with the pigs and the swine flu, so I suppose the production has been reduced? Is that the same way for Nature-throid, a shortage as well? I am in the process of increasing my Armour, and would be OK to switch to Nature-throid if Armour is not available anymore though I can't really say I have problems with the new formula: I don't know if I do.
The last two periods though have been really rough and I just clued in that on the 2nd when I got my last one I got cough, fever, sore muscles and now on the 28th I have come down with the same thing. I am sitting here thinking that I might have swine flu but realized I felt this same way at the beginning of the month. This however is interfering with my work because I can't go in feeling the way I do.
Doc said it is a stomach flu that is going around, but somehow i think something else may be wrong. Somebody please help...
this is the stage i`m up to now i had this earlier in the year it may have been a tad worse last time (yes i thought i was going to die), even after the last time maybe 5/6 months ago when it finally all but went away, now and again i would still have a slight cough on occasion, i am wondering if this is one of those exotic virus strains like bird flu or swine flu?
Although I still suspect its more than just regular XP, its too tender to be regular XP. I suspect its related to exercise or a virus, I had the swine flu jab not too long before this thing appeared.
i was scared that from all the drinking and smoking that that would never happen but it did. anywho we found out that we were pregant and made a first doctors apt. then the swine flu virus hit and i didnt make it to my appt. cuz i didnt want to catch it for me and the babys health.. then i made another apt. about 2 weeks later.. 2 days before my apt. my husband was at work and i got these mild cramps in my stomach like you i went to the bathroom and wiped and there was blood..
To Everybody, I have read most of the comments and I also feel that I am either in early stage of getting shingles or developing rashless shingles. I have an intense pain that wraps around from just under my right shoulderblade, under my arm and ends under my right breast. I do have a small row of pink bumps developing on my side that may turn out to be the rash, but since I've never had it or seen shingles I'm not totally sure. I've had the pain, itching and a slight headache for a few days now.
husband forced me to doctor monday (i thought it was just a bad cold) and i have the swine flu!! took it out of me for 3 days and i have to be off work for 10days. i an an eye doctor and so i am in patient's faces all day. i was so upset but RE reassured me that baby(ies?) are fine. i have first ultrasound tomorrow to see how many buns in the oven. praying for at least one healthy one! i am just glad to have enough energy right now to sit up in bed=).
We took her to the er not wanting to because of the swine flu. She was running very high fevers for a few days she was on her baby meds. which helped for a awhile. But I was very scared and so unsure of what to do. But the fever was not going away and it just made me cry because I didn't know what to do. Then we just decided to take her to the er we took her about 3am and they got us in and out. I kept her safe as I could.
5 hours is the most sleep I can get, often 5 is the routine. I frequently have an ache in my right side. The mornings when I wake up is the worst, dreams and thoughts are bizarre and I feel like the toxins get to my brain more when I am prone for some reason. I read somewhere that high blood sugar levels might make one a poor responder to tx which mine had been increasing during and after tx fasting 118-125. Thanks in advance for suggestions.
It is not a deep, internal pain, but seems close to the surface, just to the right of that little cartlidge/bone that splits the rib cage...just to the right of the stomach. What the heck could it be? My MD put me on Nexium, thinking maybe it is peptic in nature, but 60 days of Nexium and still the pain persists.
They sent me to 4 doctors who did nothing for me, finally the case was settled and my lawyer got most of the money, but I still have the pain. It is an extreme ache down to the bone, that is unbearable at night. Even with pain medicine and sleep aides, I get about 2-3 hours a night. Finally, I went back to my own doctor and asked if he could help me, he said yes. He sent me for an MRI, and then to an Orthopedic Surgeon.
