I've had HIV for several years, luckily it was caught early. I started meds fairly soon after. I started Atripla in 2010. It got be undetectable quickly and has kept that way. I never had major bad side effects on it. I did have some crazy dreams and still do. After I was on it for a couple years, things began to slowly deteriorate. Dr. Lupo, a question about dosing of Tapazole. I've been on meds for a little over a year. Was doing well for 8 months, then I stopped taking it for a couple of weeks( to see if it was causing muscle pain,was only on 2.5 mgs) Doc increased it to 5 mgs. for 3 months. Went into hypo range, he didn't reduce it... my labs were as follows: tsh-4.21(0.35-5.5) free t-4 -0.84 (0.8-1.9) total t-3- 0.9 (1.10-2.00) low, he said we'd reduce it next time. then 3 months later my tsh was 6.
