Upon closer inspection , I noticed a sort of skin bridge right in the center of the meatus, thereby bridging the meatus. Is this a result of the circumcision. Will this self resolve, or is there concern that further closing (or stenosis) might occur. What can i do at home and what should i monitor. Will this need surgical intervention or can this be managed at home, ie i read something about Home-dilatation of the urethral meatus in boys but i don't know what this implies. Please help.

My son has the same problem! He was circumcised at birth, and i guess the skin reattached itself as your son's did to where there was a couple of adhesions where smegma could build up. Keep looking, for some reason doctors love the 10,000 dollar bill for an adult circumcision. And ask for references or pictures of the results a doctor does. Be very careful about what they tell you.

Hi, For as long as I can remember I have had an overly thickened, uneven circumcision scar with considerable reddening of the skin surrounding the scar. Bizarrely it is considerably thicker and more 'inflamed' on the left side of the penile shaft. As you would expect, it is particularly apparent when erect. My first question is whether or not you would recommend pursuing any of the conventional scar reducing treatments, such as silicone sheeting, or are these ineffectual?

Dont believe in it myself,unless medically needed i think it should be left alone and not make babies have an un necessary operation

The foreskin is there for a reason and does protect your glans from an sensitivity aspect .. There are studies that say you will loose 30% of your sensitivity with circumcision.. I am so glad that I am uncut and would highly recommend that you do not consider circumcision .. My thoughts ..
