basically you are in a quiet room and you lie on a table and get strapped on. they will then bring the table up to an angle and monitor your hr blood pressure as they will have you hooked up to an ecg machine. they use this test to recreat the symptoms you have in a controled way. the best thing is to not trt and wiggle your legs as this may prolong test. you may feel faint this is normal and you may feel your heart beat ect.

Yesterday I had a second tilt table (a cardiologist did the first one in Jan. - Normal) and the second one was normal, as well as the valsalva and deep breathing test. So I guess my question is can someone have vegus nerve damage without it affecting the barocepters causing spikes and drops in blood pressure. Hello, I have a tilt table test coming up soon. I was wondering has anyone had to stop taking their medications prior to the test? I am on 50 mg daily of Atenolol. I am to discontinue my medication 2 days prior to my test.

In part they apply their personal bias and preference for a given system of classification and terminology.
