They subsided after about a week. Oh yeah, and the constipation! yuck! The side effects you are experiencing are most likely caused by the Sub, it's different for different people. Have you read the pamphlet that came with the RX?

Do these side effects eventually go away if you take Soboxin (sp), and then eventually no SOboxin? If a person works out and takes vitamins will this assist in getting this awful drug out of the system?

All this depression and self confidence issues ARE related to the side effects. Which scares me to death because I haven't had luck going down to less than the 4mg. Thank you for your response. XXXXxxxx.

true what cattalina says...the naloxone in suboxone has some side effects with number one being headaches....try subutex..make a plan...what was ur DOC and how much daily did u take? too much of these drugs/sub or subutes carry lots of side effects..and doctors seem to oer prescribe sub..too much causes drowsiness, fogginess etc..

So I would be willing to accept some risk of side effects with Suboxone, given the risk of NOT treating the disease of addiction. Eventually something better will come along, but for now, outside of constipation, buprenorphine is a pretty good maintenance agent for some people.

the naloxone in suboxone is what often causes the headaches....subutex does not have naloxone in it...

When it comes to somebody having side effects when starting a new medicine telling them it doesn't cause side effects is putting them at risk for what could end up being a very serious problem . Here are the side effects of Naltrexone and they can happen even if you aren't on an opiate.

but around 2pm i start getting flu-like symptoms and they last till i fall asleep. im not sure if they are side effects from the suboxone(it is listed as common side effect) or if im not taking enough suboxone and having wd.but like i said i feel fine in the morning.

Iv always suffered with constipation and it gets so much worse during pregnancy it's unreal, haven't had BM in 2 weeks now (sometimes it's longer). I took 1 dulcolax tablet on Monday night, woke up at 4am with stomach cramps. It's been 2 days and the diarrhea is just going away but iv still not had a bowel movement. Went to see a gastro doctor yesterday who prescribed me Docusate 100mg (Colace).

There should be some good information and warning info that came with your prescription of suboxone. The side effects are typical of any other type of an opiate - the big cautioin is that you don't want to be taking large doses of benzo meds like xanax or valium with suboxone, that can be a deadly combinatioin. Check for the informatioin with your meds and talk with your doctor.

i want to know the side effects of saboxone, long n short term. ive been taken 1 to 2 saboxone a day. im not even into pills but when i tried it, i like the feeling. and i want to know the side effects, i heard memory loss was one? i took 2 **** tests on it and i passed. if anyone knows for sure please let me know, thank you.

I would say that of the few side effects I get from my meds, the constipation would be the worst one. Then again I could probably do more to correct this, but I really hate high fiber foods. I may try that metamucil that xanweaner mentioned.

My husband actually felt better than he had in years for the first few weeks, then began to experience some side effects. It hasn't been too rough overall. He's on week 19 of 24.

She was prescribed Kytril to take for 2 days with 12 hours interval to help with side effects. She still had bouts of vomiting during the night. Can Kytril be taken for another day or 2? Thank You very much. We're very concerned that she hasn't felt better so far.
