if you google suboxone it will give ya a website and there is a dr locator. only certain drs can prescribe it. being from la too i know a really good sub dr. my nephew used in clinton. he is great. but there are some in baton gouge. let me know if you need help finding one.

I have had three major back surgeries for which I was using strong opioids for two years. Started taking 16mg of Suboxone, Worked that down to 2mg and now I cut the tab in half for 1mg per day. Can a pharmacist custom make me even smaller doses so I can completely rid myself of taking this medication? Suboxone is very potent so a small does goes a long way, I need to find a way to take it is still smaller doses so I can stop taking it without getting sick. Any ideas?

No , you need a special doctor to prescribe sub. Clonodine and Suboxone are extremely different. Clonodine is a bp med that helps with withdrawal symptoms. Suboxone does have opiate in it. It can be used for a quick detox or used long term. Tell us more about you. What are you taking and how much, how long ? It will help us help you.

Hi SupaT, you best ooption would really be to detox from the Methadone and get clean - Shrimpman is right, Suboxone is just substituting one for another and it is very difficult to detox from, esspecially after long term use. If detox is not an option at this point, talk with a suboxone doc in Canada - if that is your only option. Don't you have suboxone on Bermuda as an option? Shrimpman - way to go, I was wondering how you were doing. Congrats on your 14 days clean time!
