Suboxone and urinalysis

Common Questions and Answers about Suboxone and urinalysis

suboxone

I have been taking suboxone for 3yrs and I am pregnant w/ my 2ND child while on suboxone. I also know of another girl who has had 2 babies while taking suboxone. My 1st child I had while taking suboxone is ABSOLUTELY perfect. He will be 2 in Dec. He weighed 7lbs. and 3 oz @ birth. When I had him, the hospital knew I was on this medication and monitored him just to make sure he was ok and he never showed any signs of WDs.
I was taking suboxone for 2 years and felt that my doctor was not tapering me down properly. It was really expensive and I no longer wanted to be dependant on medication, so I decided to quit cold turkey ( I was taking 12mg a day). I went through HELL for 2 weeks (nausea, severe irritability, anxiety, hot flahes, cold chills, fever, sweaty palms, back pain, insomnia, and absolutely no energy) before anything started to ease up. I was in the ER because the symptoms were unbearable.
Yes you can go from methadone to suboxone. The urinalysis test will most likely not show that medicine and either way at least your trying to get off.... I would think the job would take that into consideration because you are getting off. You will have to find a doctor for the subs tho, and you can be off methadone for about 24 hours I would say, cause I did when going back on suboxone and feel fine.... Good luck! The xanax tho...
your right on when you said that taking a opiate for chronic pain is not the same as addiction. Many of the symptoms can and are the same such as tolerance and dependence. Drug addicts and chronic pain patience Are as different as ketchup and mustard. Not much of a correlation but you get my drift.
ago i had cancer and had a hysterectomy,,,i had to go to the hospital recently for a kidney stone and they took a pregnacy test,,,it came back positive,,,i have nothing left to get pregnant...lol...
You need to consult a urologist and get some investigations done which include a dipstick urinalysis, various urine cultures, and a serum PSA, flowmetry and post-void residual urine volume by ultrasound scanning and cystoscopy. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps.
I am here for some ideas and advice. I went to the suboxone doctor on Monday and I tested positive for benzo's. I was stunned when the test came back positive. I have not taken anything that is any form of a benzo and the doctor says that not any of the medicines I am on could cause a positive test. I am listing meds I have been on in the past month: Hyzaar (BP med) lasix, trazadone, ambien, phernagan, cipro, pyridium, naproxan, tylenol, bactrim, potassium choride, lunesta, suboxone.
Recovery depends on the awakening and growth of spirituality, and our lives depend on our relationship with what we believe is the source. The Spiritual Tenets express some of our most basic ideas about spirituality in Narcotics Anonymous. They are the foundation upon which our Steps, Traditions, and Concepts of Service are built. They make possible our individual and collective surrender to, and dependence on a loving God of our own understanding. They are the keys to our freedom. 1.
Everytime someone mentions is or asks questions you always talk about how terrible it is and that Doctors are just trying to get rich. I am a suboxone user myself and it has been a lifesaver. My doctor is extremely compassionate. I don't think you should be dogging all doctors and scaring new people away from something that may be their last chance. Sorry, but just MHO.
I'm at a loss, and don't have insurance, and my PCP won't see me as soon as I mentioned I was on methadone. I had bloodwork and a urinalysis test done a couple months ago, and everything came back fine,( I got all the #'s back, and even though I don't know what half of it means, my #'s are in the middle of the parameters given), so now, even if I saw a dr., I wouldn't know what to ask him/her to test for. Any suggestions? BTY, the bloodwork cost over $4,000.

Please make yourself at home and snuggle down. It will be a bit bumpy, but worth it!
I hate myself and get really down and now can't sleep all that good, so I told my doctor and he added an antidepressant and sleeping pills and it helps but again it's just more pills so I'm always looking at the time to see what I can take. Is this normal?? Thanks for any input/advice!
I can say suboxone same thing as subutex saved my life at the same time I can say I had to learn on my own the right way to use and get off suboxone because like u said most doctors do not know enough about this med and prescribe unreal amounts to ppl and keep them on it WAY TO LONG.
So today is day 10 on a taper program, and of course i failed, i battled the cravings of getting high for 10 days and today i caved. So now, tomorrow back on track. I have like 60 percs at home that i wanted to give to the doc when i go next week but really think i need to just flush them. I am currently taking 100mg tramadol ER once a day and 4mg of diluid 3 times a day. Starting tomorrow i will take my one tramadol, and take diluid 4mg in the am and afternoon with the pm dose of just 2mg.
The first two years were rough but thanks to the grace of God and my family I have been clean now for over a year and a half. My husband and my son have been my anchor to reality and responsibility. My husband does not smoke, drink or use drugs and never has(how we ended up together is a mystery). Also through a stroke of luck I got pregnant with my first son during a time in my life that I was clean, so there where no problems with him at birth.
