suboxone

1428440 tn?1287390379 Hi everyone I have not around for a few weeks I have not been feeling to well. I am here for some ideas and advice. I went to the suboxone doctor on Monday and I tested positive for benzo's. I was stunned when the test came back positive. I have not taken anything that is any form of a benzo and the doctor says that not any of the medicines I am on could cause a positive test.
Avatar n tn I was taking suboxone for about a week and only 2mgs a day was making me feel normal well with a lil aches and pains here and there. Then for 4 days I relapsed and did about 4 80mg oxys in 4 days. I'm on my 2 day of not using oxys and the craving arent incredibly terrible and neither are the withdrawls. I'm wondering since I'm taking the suboxone which I only have about 6mgs left of, if I take that for the next 2 days will I be done with oxy withdrawls.
1428440 tn?1287390379 Hi its me, I looked for the oldest thread I could to start with my new questions. I was a heavy vic 10 and soma user, along with ativan and halcion dependent for sleep. I also took elavil for depression and trazadone for more of a hit to help me sleep. I went clean cold turkey off of vic and somas April 28th. I start an aftercare program and also started to see a therapist. I did the detox of the vics and somas and it was pretty darn rough the first 7-10 days.
477740 tn?1207945774 Mine was a great deal as far as price, paid 300 and that included the pills, 50 clonidine, and some lunesta and pherengen for upset stomach ( the Sub made me nauseous after I took it this helped) I was in the same situation, couldn't take off work, didn't have alot of money, knew people that did well with shorter term use, so I did tons of research and called the doc.
1336057 tn?1276958496 I was on it for nearly 4 years and it definitely saved my life. Are you on suboxone right now or going through withdrawal and considering that option?
Avatar n tn I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I need something to help me sleep without causing nausea and to help me sleep like a baby throughout the night pleaseee.
Avatar f tn most are afraid to prescribe any prescription sleep aids like benzos, ambien, or lunesta, due to the liability ofa buse and the respiratory depression that could occur-christos
349859 tn?1257790973 I've posted before and still been around some, but now that I'm getting to the end of my taper, I have some questions. Just a lil background for some: I have been on suboxone for 4 and a half years! (Stupid, stupid, stupid!) Anyway, it has taken me 6 mths, but I started out on 16-24 mgs a day and now I'm down to one mg a day. I've got 3 kids (5,3, and 1) and also work a full time job. No sick/vacation time left.
10623623 tn?1414292089 I was reading another thread where you all were advising a person not to use suboxone as it will be worse to detox from, and I would like your opinions on my situation as well. I was using about 8 hydrocodone 10 mg each day for the past year. I was also abusing ambien because the hydro would cause me to not sleep, so I was taking about 6 Ambien a night, too. I was shaking and having terrible tremors from the Ambien detox, and I was beginning cold turkey from the hydro as well yesterday.
Avatar n tn I am 23 years old and when I was 17 got on oxycontin for reacreation by my cousin and best friend who was shot in a hunting accident when he was 15, and we are the same age. I never have done any other drugs and took my first when I was 17 and never even heard of it before, we just went fishing and he asked me to try it and I did, but I would have never tried a prescription pill if it would have been anyone else I just really trusted him and didnt know about pills or anything like that.
Avatar f tn Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.
2021910 tn?1339896686 I'm on Ambien every night, otherwise, I would only get 2 hours of sleep a night. The benefits outweigh the risks. My doctor said there is a chance of depending on it to put you to sleep, but when my newborn comes, I'll wean off of it from having to be up with him all night. I even took Ambien with my first son, and he was born picture perfect. Get some rest!
Avatar f tn It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.
Avatar m tn The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.
Avatar n tn Does anyone know if thats good i tried it once and really liked it it doesnt seem to be addicting
Avatar f tn When I kept forgetting to take the second dose, he suggested the 30mg X-RAY And it seemed to work extremely well, I was not sleeping at all, had lots of stress and went through a number of different antidepressants, they all pretty much made feel hung over and generally like crap all day. He suggested Lunesta and it seemed to work enough to get atleast 6hrs of sleep and felt well rested the next day.
Avatar n tn Now I am post TX and the insomnia has not yet left, so they prescribed Ambien and Lunesta for me (i grew allergic to something in the benedryl). They are all harmless to liver but the ambien & lunesta do cause dependence so I alternate them: Ambien for a couple nights, then lunesta (which does not work as well for me) for one night. The 'dependence' is not a big deal; just means you'll have a several very sleepless nights after you quit them.
1428440 tn?1287390379 I am on suboxone and taking 16 mg a day. this will be my 5th day. I started out slow and worked up to full dose yesterday. I was extremely tired after my 8 o'clock does. Which also I have been tired anyway becuase I haven't been sleeping well. The Dr. gave me lunestra also but I haven't taken any yet. I preferred to get used to the Sub first. I have probably only had about 10 hr sleep since last Sunday. I noticed today that my pupils are small, not pin head or nothing but small.
Avatar n tn I had a huge tolerance for opiate and once I was in bad withdrawals about two days they amde me wait, I was given my first dose of suboxone, They started at 4 mgs and it took away my withdrawals isntantly and gave me a warm buzz that lasted a really long time. I eventually over a month moved up 32 mgs of suboxone the highest studied dose thats effective as a mixed agonist. The higher you go up the actually more withdrawal effects start to come out of the drug.
Avatar f tn Days 3, 4 and 5 were the worst with the unexpected torture of inability to sleep (and I take 8 mg of Rozarem with 4 mg of Lunesta each night for insomnia and even with my sleep meds and 2 tylenol PMs, I still spent 3 days/nights awake in horror). Am able to sleep now. the restless leg syndrome has gone away now. i am left with hot/cold chills BS and an extremely crushing fatigue coupled with an extreme case of anxiety and nervousness, Ive NEVER had anxiety like this.
Avatar m tn this is just my experience, and I'm not on tx yet...I can't take Lunesta and ambien, ambien makes me feel nutzo the next morning, but many people are fine with it...I take ativan if I have had a lot of sleepless nights in a row, and at a very low dose...I find tranquilizers lull me into sleep, which I prefer...best of luck...
Avatar f tn I AM 15 DAYS OFF SUBOXONE AND STILL FEELING SOME WD'S. WHAT KIND OF HERBS WILL HELP?
Avatar n tn I never tried remeron, but ambien was horrible and so was resterol the taste of the lunesta that it leaves in your mouth is horrible so there is no easy answer but I did find the ativan did help for a while and I still take it with the lunesta and I agree if I get a good nights sleep the next day is much better.
Avatar f tn Mine was a great deal as far as price, paid 300 and that included the pills, 50 clonidine, and some lunesta and pherengen for upset stomach ( the Sub made me nauseous after I took it this helped) I was in the same situation, couldn't take off work, didn't have alot of money, knew people that did well with shorter term use, so I did tons of research and called the doc.
Avatar m tn I almost hit 3months on suboxone to get of H started at 8mg and it got me really high. So called md the next day and he told me to cut it in half. Long story short, i did my own taper since even 4mg gave me That euphoria felt like im a public figure, high confidence and all good stuff That everything is cool. I dropped down to 1mg,md is very proud then i dropped it again to 0.5mg / 24hours thats when i started to feel the wdrawals every morning. Md told me to take 0.
Avatar m tn I feel so much pressure in my head at times that I take part of a lunesta and it helps with my head. What is going on with my head? Is this normal with anxiety, or is there something else wrong?
