suboxone

Avatar n tn if you have pain around liver area i would go to get tested straight away and then u will know and hopefully your ok but if not your still young and most liklely healthy and have great chance of curing with treatment, the more damage ya liver has the harder it is to beat.sorry to be blunt but i think its best if people get tested just to make sure instead of wait and wait and assume and guess.just trying to give you some good advice and good luck hope to god you dont have it.
Avatar f tn I think he has been told that nothing can be done for him until he gets off methadone so he is no longer seeking any help for the hepatitis c. My sister ordered lactulose for him from Canada and he takes it, but it may be not as effective now. Thanks for your help.
11495479 tn?1418744080 I have been doing meth for about a year and suboxone for 5 years and other drugs for just as long. I have a bad problem. I cant stay sober for long. I was born premature as a cocaine baby, and around the age of 5 i discovered gas, i huffed til 13 and then started smoking weed, and doing pills and drinking. I have been doing drugs and drinnking ever since. So basically my whole life, I havent been sober. I actually find life dull, boring, and have no motivation being sober.
Avatar f tn I have not seen a doctor regarding the hep c since then, and I have also been taking suboxone since 4/07. Is it important for me to be checked out after this time? And does the suboxone play any role in the condition? Thank you in advance for any advice.
Avatar f tn Now many years back when I first started on suboxone my dr gave me a shot as a precautionary incase I ever came into contact with Hep C and it was supposed to help my body fight it off. Could this have something to do with the positive test result? I'm more worried for my daughter and not knowing if I do have it and why nothing ever came up in all the tests ive taken before?! I'm confused and scared and hoping that someone could shed some insight into my situation.
Avatar m tn I started taking darvocet at first until they tore up my stomach and then , norco 5 mg x 4 /day, for a year now. I do have pain, pinched nerves/nerve damage in my legs. And also hepatitis c. Naturally my pain mgmt dr. doesn't know about the hep c. I jusst wanted the darvocet for a month as I was trying to come off a year long suboxone habit and couldn't do it cold turkey. I've told my dr. that i wanted to taper off these narco and what he instead did is put me on 10 mg....
Avatar f tn 2 of my friends were using together, one has hepatitis c, and she was using a powerade bottle to get her water from. She rinsed her syringe with that water, fully submerging the needle in the bottle of water. (She is the one with the infection.) Herein lies the issue, the powerade bottle remained in the room and my other friend thought it was just a bottle of water and took a drink. Does anyone know if that could infect someone with the virus?
142722 tn?1281533616 I have to have a C-Section on May 11th, two months from now, I just started suboxone and my sub dr said he would like to see me stay on suboxone through the entire pregnancy and after for a few months. 778888 tn?1237989291 I am going to a NA meeting tonight, the last one was over 20 years ago, just been doing AA, but the truth is I Am An Addict I only got through the Hepatitis C treatment because of all the support I received on their chat forum, so I knew what helped, and it seems like I am in the right place here. I know this only works one addict helping another, and really look forward to meeting some great people.
Avatar f tn To transmit hepatitis C requires that hepatitis C infected blood enter the blood stream of an uninfected person. While there is a very small rusk of sexual transmission this is more of a concern fir those who engage in rough sexual practices like BDSM or blood sports.
Avatar f tn From 2010-2013, rates of acute hepatitis C increased among males and females; in 2013, rates among males and females were 0.8 and 0.7 cases per 100,000 population, respectively. http://www.hepcassoc.org/news/article27.

Avatar f tn The risk increases for those who have multiple sex partners, have a sexually transmitted disease, engage in rough sex, or are infected with HIV. More research is needed to better understand how and when Hepatitis C can be spread through sexual contact.
Avatar f tn He diagnosed me with Vasculitis and stated that my Hepatitis C has caused these symptoms and the Vasculitis and in turn, is affecting my brain. My question is..... "Could the MRSA I contracted along with my Hepatitis C do all this damage to me" I have never had treatment for Hepatitis C. However, the only symptom I had for 10 yrs was a little fatigue... Untill I got MRSA. My condition is slowly getting worse. (About every 6mnths) Will my symptoms ever level off...
Avatar f tn I'm a only 10 weeks and a ftm. I went to the Dr yesterday and she told me I have hepatitis C. This isthe first time I hear of this from my drs. and I honestly don't know how I got it. I've never done drugs, I used to drink once in a while (not heavily), I wasn't promiscuous..my tattoos are from clean shops. I worked at a Dr office for a few months but I was a medical interpreter and didn't touch the patients. I'm just so scared and worried.
Avatar f tn I believe the biggest concern right now is not sex drive , but how Suboxone can affect the baby or the pregnancy. Suboxone is a class C medication meaning that it has not been shown to be safe or harmful in pregnancy. This is from the Suboxone website: Before taking SUBOXONE, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
Avatar n tn Although vaccines exist for hepatitis A and hepatitis B, development of a hepatitis C vaccine has presented challenges.
634590 tn?1293774093 i want to go Saudi Arabia and they perform Elisa test to detect hepatitis B and C. Plz my PCR is still negative 6 years post tx. But i hv heard that Elisa will remain positive for life time. Is it true?
Avatar f tn I've been on suboxone for gosh about 7 years now. It's kept me on the straight and narrow and is the only way I could continue to work and get my life back on track - I am SO grateful for that stuff! Anyway I treated in 2005 for 72 weeks. Started out 43 years old, female, 5'7 117 - 120 pounds (don't know that any of that part mattered but you put down yours... :) Genotype 1A and 1B. I started out with a pretty low VL of 568,000 so not far from yours.
Avatar m tn I agree with everything that has been said. I would get tested for Hepatitis A, B and C as well as HIV. Hepatitis C is asymptomatic for a lot of people which means it could be years (if ever or at all) to show symptoms. You deserve the peace of mind of knowing where you are at with this.
Avatar m tn I have Hepatitis C antibody reactive (23.50), I don't know about this Reactive figure 23.50, what is meaning of this and cut off value is 1.00. Please if any body has this information so please tell me.

The 379 persons (1.3%) having had cholecystectomy were considered to have gallbladder stone at the time when cholecystectomy was done. Gallbladder stone was found in 6.0% persons of group NBNC, 5.4% in group B and 11.
