I was put on bed rest at 20+ weeks so as you can imagine I had. Nothing better to do but look things up about babies what to do wait not to do! But in the end it just comes naturally once the child is in your arms good luck!!

I believe it's referring to the wall which separates the two large chambers of your heart (the ventricles). The top section is not noticeably moving, and the middle section is moving but well below normal. Anyway... I went today and got a cd of my mri and ct scans that they took recently, as well as the written reports for my own record. They also faxed my medical records that are pertinent to the neurologist. I tried to get my own copy but they charge for them and I didn't have any money on me.

I am 30 weeks today, baby girl is healthy. Weighing 3lbs 2oz. But I was informed that I have to start seeing my doctor twice a week, and they want to do a stress test on me in two weeks. I'm a high risk pregnancy (type 1 diabetic). Anyone else have to do this? What should I expect? Is this part of the normal process?

Call your provider monday and ask them to contact the lab they use to see what the actual numeric results are ( some labs just don't provide them but they have them ) or if this was a immunoblot test you had done, you'll need to confirm your status with a herpes WB 4 months after the last time you had sex unless you get a lesion to have cultured to confirm infection.

this is my first baby and im in the UK. it looks like a lot of people on here are from the US so im not sureif they ccheck different things in different places?! as far as I know theu check for the movement of the heart and the size of the baby to make sure they are growing well. they will also check for down syndrome. im not 100% sure how but I think it's to do with the size and shape of the head and neck.

The other day after more blood work, it was changed to Hep C. What can she expect from having this and of her journey to heal from it? What can I do to best help and suport her through this? It scared me more to learn, it is Hep C, intead of Hep B. I've read that at least 75% of people who have Hep C go into a chronic form of it. That it can lead to debilitating health problems, and in some cases, even death. This is all new to us, and a first for this in our family.

i would suggest getting some pamphlets from your doctor and even investing in a baby book. the what to expect when expecting books even tell you what each doctors visit. congratulations on your pregnancy!!!

I just found out today that I'm pregnant. According to my last period I should be 4-6 weeks. I'm not showing any signs but 3 tests were positive. What should I expect going to my first appointment on the 23rd? And can the father come with me?

Well with mine. I just did a urine test and had to come back for my first actual visit....but for the.most part they get your weight...ask when last period estimate due date....explain things to you...ask about family history like high blood pressure....if You haven't had a papsmear (sp) you get one of those...and they usually do an ultrasound or schedule you for one.....good luck :)..... You may even get to.see.your baby heart beat....

The first meeting is always a bit stressful since the teachers, psychologist, and administrators know more about the laws and procedures regarding IEP's. One thing that I will tell you is that you really need to do some research regarding your specific State's IEP laws and also do alot or research on his specific disability so that you know all of his rights and yours as well. It really helps when the parent or parents are prepared.

Is it a stress test or a non stress test? I have no idea witht the stress test. With the nst all you do is sit in a chair. They put on 2 monitors. 1 for babys heart and the other for contractions. Some give you a button to push every time you feel the baby move others don't. I push the button. Takes 20-30min.
