I have never heard of standing in the dark for a mintue but if you are concerned I would google mini-mental test and have someone administer it. It is pretty easy to do and your wife could probably do it for you.
Again, forgetfullness can increase during times of stress or anxiety. You may be having a cath 22 by worrrying about this.
As for who to see, at your age I would see a neurologist.

I had dozens of tests, including a lyme ELISA test...all normal. I was told it was stress, that I had a somatization disorder, and told to go on Prozac and seek therapy. I"m only 35!
I then found another doctor who happened to be an ILADS trained LLMD (Lyme Literate MD). She did a Western Blot test from a lab called Igenex. I came back highly positive for lyme and some "co-infections" (Bartonella and Babesia.) I never had a rash nor do I remember a bite.

The typical magnesium test is actually an Intensive Therapy Unit test, in a small, tight range, meant to keep you alive. That is according to Dr. MyHill.
The RBC magnesium test is said to be better, but it can still miss deficiencies. The best are the loading or tolerance test, but this can be hard to get. (See article by Michael Schachter M.D.)

Oh, also I'm 34 years old and before the chest pain started my weight was at 137lbs which that weight was taken at an October Dr appoinment. My weight today is 123lbs.
It was " suggested " that I have a stress test. It's not mandatory so I'm wondering if I should have one done at all. Has anyone had a stress test? If so what did the results reveal?
In a low risk pregnancy a non stress test or stress test would only be warranted if their was a concern. However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.
