I had a stress test last week and today they told me these are the results: EF 69%, Test was abnormal - moderate sized, moderate intensity, reversible perfusion defect involving inferolateral wall. Moderate sized, moderate intensity fixed perfusion defect involving inferoseptal wall. They plan to do a cath, but there is a two week waiting list. How dangerous is this and should I wait the two weeks or go elsewhere?
I saw a cardiologist last week and he has me scheduled for an angiogram next week due to abnormalities on my nuclear stress test and signs of possible blockage. I also have a high angaston score of 957 predominately in the LAC. He seemed to be rather laid back about how big of a deal this could be because I'm not having angina or shortness of breath.

Another thing. I have no idea why I would be experiencing symptoms in my anus since there was no contact back there. Is it possible for symptoms to occur in places that never had any sexual contact?
I am now 53, (F), have have testing from my pulmonologist and cardiologist, including various stress tests, EKG, Ultrasound. My heart will race after light activity, or after eating, and this is happening on an increasingly regular rate. The pulmonologist made a comment that I would go from aerobic to anaerobic at an early stage with exertion. My cardiologist is recommending a right cardiac cath as the next step of testing? It was " suggested " that I have a stress test. It's not mandatory so I'm wondering if I should have one done at all. Has anyone had a stress test? If so what did the results reveal?
In a low risk pregnancy a non stress test or stress test would only be warranted if their was a concern. However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.

Has anyone taken a stress test ? My doctor got me so worried. I told him today at my appt that my baby doesn't move as much as he use to everyone else told me it's bcuz he's losing space. So I wasn't too concerned and now my doc wants to make sure everything is okay so tomorrow I'm going in for a stress test . Has anyone done this? I'm pretty worried now :( I just want everything to be okay.
So I am 37 yrs old and had to do stress test on my last appt which I was 37 weeks and failed and was hooked up to machine for almost an hour so sent me to have ultrasound and baby seemed fine but I feel as if she isnt moving as much and I know towards the end they run out of room but im nervous any ideas this is my 3rd child
