My 83 year old grandmother had a chemical stress test about three months ago because she was so tired all the time. She was in good health otherwise. Since this test she is having terrible anxiety, describing it as feeling shaking all over on the inside. She has been on several different anxiety medicines, none of which help at all. I had my hiv test done. Negative. Antibody only test. I am using: corticosteroid cream for psoriasis, glucophage (metformin) for reducing glucose levels in blood, euthyrox for thyroid problems and tablets of herb called peruvian maca (for reducing hormons). Can u tell me, does anything of written affect on producing hiv antobodies and does it affect on result of hiv test?
It was " suggested " that I have a stress test. It's not mandatory so I'm wondering if I should have one done at all. Has anyone had a stress test? If so what did the results reveal?
In a low risk pregnancy a non stress test or stress test would only be warranted if their was a concern. However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.
