stress test in it

I had a lexascan or a medically induced stress test. It was the weirdest feeling test I have ever had. It felt like a 100 lbs on your chest and caused the breathing to be labored for just a few seconds. Thankfully every thing came back normal.

I have A Fib and I could not do the stress test with the treadmill so the doctor wants to give me an injection (dobuytamine hcl/250 and sestamibi(2) in order to race my heart to get it up to a certain speed and I am concerned since I have the A. Fib and take medication for it (Diltazam). Is it dangerous for me to have the test??

Just went for a stress test and It came back positive for slow blood flow thru heart. They scheduled me for a nuclear stree test next week is this really necessary? I have a stress test today they put me stripes in my belly to monitor the babys heart rate. They did it for 20 minutes and they said everything looks good they said if they see something weird you can be there for up to 2 hours.

I am wondering if 1) can I consider my negative results as conclusive and 2) is it normal to still have some sort of stress about it or should I consider seeing a therapist for this issue?

I have had two sets of chest xrays done and they show nothing as well. I went in for a stress test and it appeared to be "abnormal". I can produce a numbert of different opinions what is the appropriate heart rate and so on with exercising. The best method for someone with a heart issue is to have a stress test. A stress test is oftened done for the purpose of learning the degree of tolerance/risk one can safely do. The rule of thumb stated is not recommended for someone who has heart issues. You will be safe to engage in exercising according to METs.

Has anyone had 2 do this and if so what exactly do they do. Someone said it was stress test done on the baby but even if that is not really sure what that means.

m not a needle guy and I actually passed out and hit my head on the wall when they were putting the IV in - prior to the stress test. I freaked the nurses out. I insisted on getting the stress test done after that and the cardiologist agreed that it would be a good "worst case" scenario. So I still got up and ran on the treadmill for them. I want to say that I ran for 15 minutes. But they're monitoring you BP/HR etc so don't worry. They're not going to kill you!

i had a stress test today... chemical. It made me feel like someone dropped a truck on my chest and i was so short of breath that i could not speak. she gave me the antidote shot.... is this normal?

Of course i had the ct with my heart at rest before the stress test and then after the stress test... But am wondering what you would think is possibly going on. My maternal grandfather died because his heart actually exploded and my father himself has had bypass surgery... so there is a hitory in our family all my sibling's take meds for high blood pressure and one sister takes heart medication already ... Could you please let me knwo what your thgouhts are on this ...

Because all the tests turned out okay, the stress test would be the next step to see when exercising if the blood is flowing through the heart properly. It would be a good idea to have the stress test. If you do not pass the stress test, they would know that something is wrong.

She gets sweating wlile walking app 200m distence for last 5-6 years. so her stress test was done. baseline ECG is normal. On Bruce protocol she could walk for upto 2 min on treadmill. There were no ECG changes during test, but during recovery phase she developed ST depression with T inversion in II, III, AVF , I, aVL and V2 to V6 for 10 min. She was not having chest pain at that time. She is undergoing Cor angio shortly. What is the probability that she can have Triple vessel disease?

I will go forward with it but report did have the word ischemia in it. Will keep everyone informed. Also going thru thryroid condition also right now So I have that going on also.
