Avatar f tn I see a doctor that specializes in dysautonomia on the 19th. The nurse said that they are going to do a stress test and an ultrasound on my heart and talk. I am getting nervous that the doctor is going to say that everything is fine, I will grow out of it, just continue the salt, drinking, exercise, and sleep routine, and more. I am having second thoughts on going now. Suggestions? I do not want people to think I want attention or anything like that.
Avatar f tn Anyone know?
Avatar m tn Please let us know how the stress test goes. Do not worry its a peice of cake! Good luck!
Avatar f tn well....how could i have a positive as long i am freakin' out thinking about it? i will not test, but the fact is you cannot give me a single argument that these symptoms are not ARS. just a single one. especially lymph.

Avatar n tn She gets sweating wlile walking app 200m distence for last 5-6 years. so her stress test was done. baseline ECG is normal. On Bruce protocol she could walk for upto 2 min on treadmill. There were no ECG changes during test, but during recovery phase she developed ST depression with T inversion in II, III, AVF , I, aVL and V2 to V6 for 10 min. She was not having chest pain at that time. She is undergoing Cor angio shortly. What is the probability that she can have Triple vessel disease?
Avatar n tn Yesterday I had a nuclear stress test and within a couple hours I felt a hot itchy spot about 6 inches long and 3 inches wide from my shoulder down. The place where the Adenesine was injected did not get red. About 4 hours later I called my drs service and one of them returned my call and we discussed whether I needed to go to the ER. I chose to take a couple benedryl instead. Today the red long blotch is still there. I went to my cardio dr.

562874 tn?1221011159 I had a miscarrage in may and this was my 1st baby, and I so dearly want another child. I'm wondering how long do you have to wait to try again for another baby. My doctor said I should have three full periods before I should try again, has anyone else waited this long? By the way I'm on period #2 now......
Avatar m tn Just what I needed to hear and stated with your usual precision. What I cannot find is how long the new blood flow via the stent will take to revive the weakened muscle - weeks, months? Perhaps the time is not measurable? the dubotomine stress test prior to the stenting said it showed positive for ischemia affecting heart wall in three places. EF was 70.19%. What was notable about this test was that I am perfectly normal at low and medium dose of the dubotamine.
212161 tn?1599427282 I assume you had an Echo Stress Test and not a Nuclear one. I am sure the "wiggle lines" you are referring to had nothing to do with you walking barefoot (I had them too up to the point were the ECG became unreadable and I have as yet found nobody that could/would explain this to me) and they stopped the test because you had reached your prescribed heart rate of 140 BPM - so nothing wrong with that.
385161 tn?1270081218 non stress test is when they lay you on an exam table and strap on fetal monitures to the belly to moniture the baby's activity. i started mine at around 24 weeks. it usually took me 10-20 minutes but my 2 were super active and they got all the information they needed in that time. the tech told me some women were there for as long as 2-3 hours. so it all depends on your little bun and how active s/he is. if you have a good tech it's not so bad.
1815473 tn?1336171200 How long is it normal to bleed after miscarriage? I had read that average is one week or 2 weeks. But when I miscarriaged my period was light flow and lots of tissue/blood clots but not heavy bleeding and it lasted for like for 3 days. How healthy is this? Is it healthy at all?... I'm worried because I conceived again & miscarriaged again...
Avatar m tn I am 62 years old. During Stress Test I was stopped at 136 bpm as the Dr. said Target HR is achieved. The MET was 7.7. Is it a reason to worry? What should be ideal MET for a person of my age?
Avatar n tn So anxiety and stress will make them worse. My EKG came back normal. They said to rule anything out, do a stress test and Echo test, among others... I wish this could stop bwcause its just making my stress level worse. Its scary.
Avatar n tn added Norvasc to the regament, he is schedule for a stress test and was told to hold his coreg the day before, and can take the next days dose after the test. Why is this?
Avatar f tn A stress test or a non stress test? Because they are different a non stress test is just a monitor that they put on you to measure the babies movements. A stress test actually induced contractions and is used to see how baby reacts, like if there is movement or if there is a drop in heart rate.
